Hand Crushing Quartz for Gold

- Every once in a while I pick up a piece of quartz and save it. Today I hand crushed a few and actually found some gold! Also there are several You Tube members, including myself that are hosting a Republic Mining Get together at the end of July. There will be a Nugget Giveaway and a raffle for a lifetime membership to #RepublicMining.

The crusher I have has a smaller tube but is similar to yours. I got it from M&M Prospecting. If I still lived in Yreka I would definitely go. Maybe one day I will make it back up that direction.
Well if you do make it this way and want to play just let me know. You can dig around on one of my claims.

Man, I tried a Cobra once from a buddy. It crushed it alright. Powdered it quick. 😅 Golds Gold yeah but I like seeing mine. lol That crusher that Vogus and a few others have that's manual seems like the one to have.. A slower process but you can stop as specimens pop up.. AS usual, Good show.👍👍 Wish I didn't have that week planned for the event. I'd swing by, sign up and play for sure.
I found out that anyone can come to this event regardless of membership. Love to see you out there but regardless, I am sure we will bump into each other soon. Heavy Pans!

Sweet! I can't wait to see the mill in action! That was actually the second time I have hand crushed some Quartz from up there and found gold. I really get a kick out of learning new things and I don't know squat about hard rock mining. But I will.....⛏⛏😎
@@jeffersonstategold8349 yeah, crushing by hand gets old super quick. I've only scratched the surface with hard rock research for this area, but what I've found so far is pretty promising...mostly super rich, but small pockets, and not very deep either. Now I just need to find one! Lol!
