      Haha 😆 we all have those rock gardens 😆⛏️👍🌵🌲

    Ha I did the same thing with a fence post driver- except I welded a solid bar that perfectly fit in it to a fence post. Worked as well as you'd expect, but I immediately said forget that noise and made a flail style with an angle grinder, some flat bar I bent and welded in a circle and a few links of chain. So much better. Takes 2 seconds (literally only 2 seconds) to thoroughly and completely break rock down. 5 seconds and it'll completely powder 90% of whatever rock you put in. It's definitely the way to go! 10"×10"×5" and can use a battery powered angle grinder for the field!

      Yeah brother, very familiar, you and I both.
      (And I still go help the old bugger, or do it for him, now still from time to time :))
      But that's OK, also remember they were a Godsend compared to the endless lines of fences and gates we had to put in the old school way, before we could afford such fancy tools and to use steel star pickets for fences!
      Chopping down gidgee trees, debarking each one with back of an axe, digging holes with shovel and crowbar for each one, drilling them for the wire with old manual hand drills etcetera...
      These things were a luxury after that haha.

    Well hello there. This is a great idea with the fence post driver. Ive got the driver in hand and will have to find a "plunge". Im sure i can locate something that will work in the scrap pile. It sure would be nice to go thru the pile of rocks ive picked up and gathered over the years. My pockets always seem to have promising quartz in them picked up from here and there. Great info. Subbed.

      Agree, if you're getting dust sampling a mask is a good idea. It's certainly needed with methods like motorized rock crushers ⛏👍 Returned the sub, looking forward to seeing your adventures

    If you take constructive criticism well , I’d show the pan closer to the camera, you provided excellent information and improvised work around for store bought methods I love that ❤ and thank you
    , could you make a vid on how you’d look or locate gold bearing quartz, as I’m in Adelaide, Australia and have been trying for months and have found 2 grains of sands worth of gold,(my district is known for gold ) please respond

    • @NuggetHeads
      @NuggetHeads  Před 3 dny

      Everyone is a critic 😂 as far as how to look for gold in your area I would study the geology of it to understand what minerals it is commonly found with as it runs in the quartz. One thing to realize is quartz is one of the most abundant elements on Earth while gold is one of the rarest. Therefore the presence of quartz does not indicate the presence of gold. Again this is why I recommend being a little research to understand what minerals are commonly found with gold in quartz in your area. Hope it helps 🤠💯⛏️
