I have always loved the AT4 but just went and bought a new truck and turn it down for a fully loaded elevation with the sherrod package. It’s a beast

It would be interesting to see what it looks like when low pressure is detected. Does it flash a warning on the screen even if you don’t have the pressure screen up?
Did it work for both your gmc vehicles ? Meaning plug and play ? Do you have to reprogram everyone you tow with specific gm vehicle or program once and good to go for future trips ?
Thanks Don. I didn’t know GM’s sensors kept track of temperature! Has me curious if the stock ones in stock truck tires do as well by the dash just doesn’t read them. (2022.5at4)
The trucks are different and only report pressure
I have tried this along with the dealer and tried tpms re learning tools and none work.
Any tips? The next thought we have is that the new tpms sensors I have are no good, so they are ordering some from manufacturer under warranty. If not though, I’m at a loss.

Just installed and programmed, but when i go into tires tab it wants to set up again. It appreared to program and learn sensors fine, but doesnt show any info.

@donslife heads up - I ordered the TPMS sensors you linked in your comments. After dropping my dump trailer off at the tire shop, they called me a few hours later to tell me that those sensors are too small for the trailer's valve stem holes in the wheels. Apparently there are two standard sizes - the smaller size, which are used by cars, trucks, and apparently your boat trailer. And there is a larger size, used by my dump trailer. I don't know which TPMS sensors would be GMC system compatible and would fit my dump trailer's larger valve stem holes, but I find this an interesting issue.
Sounds like yours are high pressure or Heavy Duty. All 3 inch of my trailers use the conventional size. Tandem axle 33ft camper, Tandem axle 23 ft boat trailer and Tandem axle 12ft enclosed utility trailer. All less than 10,000lbs. I haven’t researched the compatible larger valve stems.
I checked my pinned comment and did recommended confirming fitment/compatibility before ordering. Phew 😅
@@Donslife yeah, yesterday I knew absolutely zero about valve stem sizes and today I know more than I want to, haha. There are two standard sizes, and heavy duty trailers are usually the larger size. Most wheels will be the 0.453” size, and heavy duty will require a large diameter valve stem of 0.625”.
I may have found a vendor who sells TPMS units for the larger size. We shall see! Great videos, Don. Keep it up.
@@Donslifeyes, you did, and I read that before ordering. Who knew there are multiple sizes of valve stem holes?? Well I do NOW, LOL.
I ran into the same issue with my 5th wheel toy hauler. Supposedly there is a tire shop in Arizona that will change the stems on the TPS to the bigger size
"Tires" doesn't show up on my '23 Chevy 2500 Trailer Status page anymore. Several months ago I towed my TPMS equiped trailer using an older GM vehicle about 1,000 miles. Then, when I recently towed the trialer with my '23 chevy 2500, the tires icon won't show up on the Infortainment screen for that trailer. It always had before. Can these "go to sleep"?
Where does this display while driving? Is it on same screen where truck tires are? Or only in touch screen?
It is shown in the trailer app in the infotainment screen. Works excellent!
What about a spare trailer tire? You would have 5 tires. I did not see the option on the dash screen.
You would buy an individual sensor and run the program sequence again to capture the spare while your using it.
Does anyone happen to know if a 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 truck is compatible with this system?
The Heck Discount Tires spent 45 mins trying to program this with their tool and couldn't. I wish I saw this video before I wasted 2 hours dragging my trailer down there and letting them try.
Ordered these installed on my camper wheels, but they do not work. (24 gmc At4) trouble shoot says they have to be programmed first before installing? Did I miss something in your video?
