    @HowtowithPaulHenderson Před rokem +1

    Great idea, I'm going to have to pick one up. Only thing is, it needs an off switch so if you take it to the dealership or a mechanic you can turn it off. So when they have the hood open for hours at a time it's not going to kill the battery. So I guess you can just pull the fuse or unplug the switch. Great idea though. I think my mom's 79 trans am had one I'm not too sure. I remember a car growing up that had a light but it was not very bright.

    I noticed from another reviewer of a very similar product on Amazon that the inline fuse is on the wrong lead. The fuse should be on the positive (+) lead, NOT the negative (-). The way it is wired now could possibly lead to a dangerous situation. @@Donslife Thank you Don for the quick reply! I’ll try that! If it works I might spray some contact spray on it to minimize corrosion.

      If a Toyota was rated to tow what I need to, It would be a serious consideration

    BUYERS BEWARE...I bought the kit and had to return it for a replacement. The sticky tape did not work on both occasions.

    • @Donslife
      @Donslife  Před 7 měsíci

      Mine is the original tape and I only made sure to clean the surface really well. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @Aprojeep
      @Aprojeep Před 7 měsíci

      I hear ya brother....I cleaned the surface with an alcohol wipe. It it seemed the tape was too weak to grab hold.
      I repurposed the kit and clamp it above my work bench.

    They wouldn't want to do something smart like that it would raise the price of their over priced vehicles by $10.
