How is it there are so few reaction videos to this film? After TWO YEARS of this being posted? As a person raised in an extremely religious household, this movie was one of my favorites before I could even understand why that was. Hats off to the whole production ❤️
Man, I have showed multiple friends this movie and most of them just don't seem to enjoy it like I do. Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone. This movie has been an absolute joy for me since I first watched it in 7th grade chorus class. Still laughing my ass off every time I watch it!

When I told my former roommate that this was written for children, he remarked, "So it's just an elaborate VBS skit," and I haven't been able to look at it the same way since.
Finally posting the condensed reactions to this commentary eh? 🤣 Give yourself a pat on the back for finally getting me to watch JatATDC. I remember seeing ads for this every time I watched my Cats VHS as a kid, and wanting to see it so badly. 15 years later and I finally get that chance thanks to CZcams and Musicals with Cheese, and I can't believe I was so obsessed with wanting to see it! 🤣 Perhaps if I had seen it as a kid, it would've been my second Cats, but watching it as an adult... it's just weird, and the kinda rapey undertones of the concubines trying to "seduce" Joseph are reeeeeeaaaaaally uncomfortable. Like, wtf Webber???

-he is deeply uncomfortable after being in a sexual encounter with a person of the opposite gender
-in go go Joseph he is confronted by more rainbow wearing people, who motivate him to keep going
Joseph and the amazing technicolour Dreamcoat is a musical about a gay man who is supported by his father, but rejected by his brothers, who by the end of the Musical come to terms with Joseph’s sexuality and they all live happily ever megamix.
