It's great to see you back and thank you for expressing how I've felt about dear Even Hansen. Ever since I first read the synopsis I was like "wtf this is a messed up story I bet other people think it's this messed up" and then I realized everyone loves this show and thinks Even Hansen is some sort of saint or just a sweetie and here I am like "did we watch the same musical?!?!?!?" Anyway it's great to see more of your content. I was getting worried there. Keep up the good work!

yeah agreed... although I did love Ben Platt's performance in DEH. However Great Comet was robbed of Best Musical
True, Platt probs deserved his tony. Great Comet (and Anastasia tbh) totally could have scooped the rest of DEH's nominations.
All of the shows were great that year. Great Comet deserved to run longer on Broadway.

Interesting concept, and really good execution. Entertaining just hearing you and a friend roast the Tony's unscripted. Would like if this kept going into more installments. Would be my favorite podcast with the Pizza Party Podcast.
I also recommend Jim and Tomic's musical Theater Happy Hour for a fantastic informative podcast.

Regardless of the show, 2017 was the strongest Tony's Best Musical race in recent memory, in my opinion. At least three of the nominees I liked.
