Would you watch a Hot Ones-themed competition cooking show?
BRING ON PEWDIEPIE RRRRREEEEEEEEEEEE
Depends on the execution of the show. Would watch an episode to decide
I would love to be on it… I battle all my family and friends on wings
Sure, as long as you get MatPat on for an interview first.
I'd at least watch the first episode but I can't imagine what the hook would be.
As a kid, Bobby Flay and Alton Brown had me glued to the TV. They inspired my love for cooking and to have now seen both on the show warms my heart. What a great episode. Love it!
Alton Brown is THE reason why my dad cooks now. Cooking is much more understandable when you put it in terms of math and physics.
Alton and Bobby are the reason I’m a food scientist
Same
Some kids loved Teletubbies, I loved Jack McDavid and Bobby Flay on Grillin' and chillin'!
Y'all probably know this, but Alton was on Hot Ones too
Dude has been in front of cameras a long time, you can tell. A real pro on many levels.
zzz
bobby flay is pretty good too
or a narcissist
@@proximityfuze I tend to assume anyone who makes it in show biz is at least a little bit of a narcissist.
A pro at taking tiny bites( Bobby flay by the way)
Bobby is one of those that actually understands the ingredients. It’s really neat hearing his insights on the hot sauces
Bobby immediately failing his goal of 'no cussing' to DaBomb is the quintessential Hot Ones moment 😂
It truly is
Not immediately lolll the bomb is only one away from the last one...
@@dashuriia-ttv Seems like you didnt read half the sentence, "immediately failing ... to DaBomb" is the key part.
Also it’s 2 @@dashuriia-ttv
@@dashuriia-ttv Da Bomb is 3rd to last one in the line-up as always, since the beginning it seems.
Bobby Flay: "These wings are good. You've got a good chef here."
Dom: "Thanks. I've been cooking the same thing for 8 years."
😂
It's already been 8 years?
He has come a long way since Gordon Ramsey was on lol
GOLD… 😂😂
One of the only celebrity chefs that didn’t insult the chicken wings. Respect!
I love that he went through the flavor profiles of all the sauces. I haven't seen anyone else do that. He was selling their products to me lol!
Exactly!! Now I want to buy the sauces he hyped lol
I don't really remember it, but I think Alton Brown did the same thing.
For reals. He sold me on Diablo.
I think Rachel Ray did also, but I can't remember for sure.
I wonder if he was "selling" the sauces just out of force of habit, haha.
Probably one of the only shows I can watch all the way through every single time a new ep comes out.
Yeah this is appointment CZcams
I skipped last episode 🤮
Myself, and many others would absolutely love to have you on this show.
I would but idk half the people they get anymore.
It is. Even if I dont follow the person on, which is rare, I have found out something good. Its like one of the few@@DavidJette
Iron Chef was honestly the show that got me into Food TV and I'm glad he gives the original the respect it deserved.
I scrolled down to comment the same. Glad you beat me to it. I concur.
Allez! Cuisine!
I miss OG Iron Chef. Great memories watching it with my family as a kid.
My favorite thing to watch when I was at my grandma's house growing up. Loved IC
Agreed!!!
I love how Bobby knew everything about each sauce in detail just by glancing at the ingredients
Bobby Flay is like if Gordon Ramsay had a positive shrooms experience and became more wholesome and chill.
Lol- great comment!
He came there to review the sauces lol I love it 😂😂😂
Bobby swearing and immediately making a face when he realizes he didn't make it through the interview was great. 😂
Bobby Flay is such an icon. I remember watching him on Iron Chef back in the day. Those battles were classic.
I still remember Morimoto getting offended at him standing on the cutting board, and in the US he removed the cutting board to stand on the counter... and Morimoto still got offended lol.
😅😅
Love him for shouting out Original Iron Chef, it was a near religious must watch for my family on SBS in Australia, the image of Takeshi Kaga passionately biting into a capsicum in the opening lives rent free in my head
One of my favorite parts of these interviews is when guests point out the fact that Sean keeps talking while they’re trying not to choke and die hahaha
Bobby seems like a great guy
Hii
Good
He isn't.
Yes, he does seem that way, which is why women keep marrying him and he keeps cheating on them.

I always like it when a guest actually DESCRIBES what it tastes like rather than, oh. it's hot.. Thanks Bobby!
"50 episodes in 25 days" for anyone is hard work. Add cooking competition into it and that's crazy hard work. Hats off to Chef Bobby and his minions working behind the scenes.
Better yet he said he did 42 shows in 6 or 7 days!

Chefs are always fun to watch. He came off alot more humble than i thought he was.
not always, but mostly, Gordon Ramsey was basically unwatchable IMO
@Moheeheeko Gordon was one of my favorites! I'd watch him over Bobby any day.
Agree! Unwatchable is right
Alot is not a word.
@@Moheeheeko It was bit messy. Almost as if the sauces weren't the only heat burning there. What a shame if so.
Bobby Flay is amazing, and him analyzing the flavours and explaining it professionally just makes it better. This is a great episode.
It was so interesting!
I always enjoy when a chef is on Hot Ones and watching what their palates pick up when trying the sauces
This show makes so many people just more likeable than any other interview.
Hopefully the creators of the sauces are watching with big smiles. Good job! He loved all of them and that says a lot.
He’s not Alton Brown that’s for sure 😂

@@riggidrich4373 I don't think a single guest has every said they like the Bomb lol
I really want to try that diablo sauce the way he described it and how it looks 😂
Bobby handled the heat much better than Gordon Ramsay did 😂
Gordon Ramsay didn't handle it. He didn't quit so I give him credit....but boy did he suffer!
Yep no contest
I think Rachel Ray was the most unaffected chef they've ever had 😂
@@SeschalAndrew Zimmern was a Boss

I *LOVE* when a guest has a palate and the language to describe it. As always, Sean brings the best interview in the game, but I really appreciate when the guest can articulate a taste experience. Great episode!! Thank you Bobby.
Right?! I haven't enjoyed a guest's critiques of sauces this much since Alton Brown
Alton Brown was a legend though...
Gordon Ramsay was HILARIOUS
Then Da Bomb shows up lol
Of all the great Hot Ones episodes, this is one of my favorites because I love that Bobby is a "foody" who can analyze the flavors in a way that makes me feel like I can taste it too 🙂
God what i would give to have seen Anthony Bourdain on Hot Ones! They'd need 60 wings, not just to take him down, but to allow 10% of his stories.
This is not said to take away from this episode. Great episode!

Everytime 🖤
@@doob8181 He didn't, just wrote some comment before watching it haha.
Definitely a great and relaxed interviewer
He just asks questions lol
He hardly reacted to the sauces like a lot of people on the show before him did. He is a true chef tackling various peppers and describing their taste.
Over 30 years ago I went to culinary arts 24:41 school, learned a lot, learn how to break down and understand recipe so well I could taste something and know what it's made with. What is amazing about this episode is Bobby has this way of conveying emotions where I actually felt my mouth burning and I'm just breathing air. of course my saliva is bursting because I've had so many different hot sauces and they are stuck in my memory.
Amazing interview, please do more chefs that know what they are talking about and can appreciate the food.
Just let them talk about the sauces. This is the first time I've heard Sean promote his sauce unprompted by anything the guest said.
I agree, more actual chefs as guests.
The one chef/food personality I’m sad never got to do this show is Anthony Bourdain!!!
@@Mr_Mike97190he would have been an absolute blast. The culinary world and world in general is just a little bit darker of a place without Anthony and his passion for food and the culture around it. I wouldn't have entered the industry or learned to truly appreciate food as an experience without him.
@@Mr_Mike97190 Agree! That would been an iconic interview!
I hope you guys get more chefs on the show that can articulate the different flavors of the hot sauces and I really want to see Morimoto the most!
SUSUR LEE WOULD BE GREAT TOO!!

I was thinking through this whole show how enjoyable the ones with the chef guests are. The Andrew Zimmern and Alton Brown eps are classics especially as they dive into the actual sauces.
ok
Something about having bobby flay on the show made this episode Uber classy. Great interview as always. Bobby is a joy to listen and learn about.
He seems honestly kind and truthful... some guests try too hard to put up a front. He killed it.
I would love a special Hot Ones Episode, where all the cooks and chefs compete with the best sides to go with these wings.
Carrots, celery and ranch or blue cheese. Done
@@ruck27 Completely.
Love how Bobby is just as interested in analyzing/discussing the sauces as he is in talking about himself. He seems very humble & authentic. So along with Sean, this is a down-to-earth conversation. Love it.
An absolute legend. Been a fan of Bobby Flay for probably 17 years and loved seeing him in this format. I always love culinary guests because they feel the need to comment on each sauce's culinary qualities. Also swearing on Da Bomb after not wanting to is classic
I loved hearing how he described peppers and ingredients.. this guy is a legend!! He is savage at eating finishing the challenge. He actually took HUGE bites not just a tiny nibble...
And by the end, dude was sweating like he was outside in a Vegas summer.
Shoutout to Mr. Flay for representing the whole milk gang😂
Episodes like this are why I keep coming back to Hot Ones. Even my mom was excited hearing Bobby was on this show, it’s pretty much the only CZcams content she watches!
Sean's interview skills REALLY shine during that ice cream question...he knew Bobby was suffering, but he still managed to spin the convo around back to a question. So impressive!!!
I love the one where he throws down against some guy who has not got the slightest clue who he is. The guy goes outside his shop and call a friend and tells how some guy showed up and is challenging him. It was a riot.
i went to Cali in 2016 and had to hit the In and Out and it totally matched the hype. Employees were happy, customers happy. Perfect burger and fries.
I could have watched 25 more minutes of this! I think chefs are my fave kinds of guest on Hot Ones, and seeing Bobby be a human and react like a normal person to the spice was great. He was really interesting to listen to, and as always Sean asked great questions which is why I could have watched a 2x longer interview easily. More foodie guests!!!
Wholeheartedly agree!
You do know Sean's brother does the research for them?
Ina garten! I want to see her swear over the da bomb.
It really was interesting to get this more "human" Bobby Flay, for sure. He always comes off as so serious on TV!
I agree, chefs are also my favorite guests!
I like how Hot Ones is now the new celebrity milestone to be achieved.
I like how he describes the flavor pallet of each sauce and tries to keep his composer as his insides are on 🔥🥵 😂
I have to thank Bobby Flay for making my children laugh. I love watching my children laugh. Most precious gift on earth. It cracks me up every time he takes a bite and says “why am I taking such big bites “my kids die laughing and it just cracks me up. These are kids Bobby come on man.🤣😂😁😆
Flay looks as young as he did when i first saw him 20 years ago.
He looks a little more dried out 😂
When a chef comes out and says the ingredients on the spot, it's always impressive, I grew up with Bobby Flay, he's one of my favorite chefs out there, being in my top 3 with Emeril and Alton Brown, I'm glad you got him, wonderful episode
This is how you know you've got a master: no criticism needed for the sauces. Just looking at the ingredients and predicting what's to come based on that. Bobby's a class act for sure.
Bobby is an OG and still fun to watch. Crazy to hear about the early Food Network stuff. Great episode.
That answer around 7:15 was really great. Kind of explains how shows like Guy's Grocery Games and Beat Bobby Flay can release two or three seasons each year.
I love Bobby Flay and how he breaks down each sauce . Nice Episode 😊
Except the last dab. Sean sneaking the flavor profile in there was a new one.
I loved Alton Brown for the same reason - They appreciate it on a deeper level than your average guests
the man knows his food, no doubt....
he barely ate any, so weak. thought he'd actually eat the wings.
Bobby is so wholesome and a genuinely pleasant person. Great interview!
Bobby wasn't so wholesome when he was fooling around behind his wife's back...what a horn dog! ! !
Iron chef was a classic I would watch it Saturday nights back in high school and remember seeing Bobby flay there. Man those were the good ol days and I love that he said in n out I completely agree!
As they keep talking about how food TV hit the main steam, I agree with Bobby Flay that Iron Chef was a very big part of it-- because competition demands a story to be interesting. And this story of the competing chefs is acknowledged at every point in the battle, the chairman recognizes the history of both chefs, we learn more about their background and their strengths and weaknesses through Alton Brown's commentary. We took something that was very frequently shown to us as being mundane raised up to the level of serious competition and given the gravitas thereof.
Humans have been making and loving and comparing food for as long as we've had the ability to taste, it's part of the reflex to share a new food with a friend; "Look what I found!". Add in the creative components, where we acknowledge that food is creative and artistic, and we step into the domain of things that contain love. "I made this for you" is one of the most special things an artist can say to another person, and food is one of the things were allowed to vocally appreciate and say back " This is amazing! I feel the love"
We've been seeing more with food and storytelling, such as the show Somebody Feed Phil, where the lens of food is used to explore history and culture of places all over the world. Food is universal, and sharing food was likely the first pro social communication our species picked up as we started living in nomadic groups waaay back in the cave drawing days. Before we spoke, we broke up fruits for our young and chewed tough meat for our elders. Before the word Love was first spoken, people were sharing it as food. Its a long story, and I think its great that more folks are exploring that space 😊
Not a bad read.
Iron Chef I could binge watch anyday!!

Well said!!
You ever consider food journalism?
Brown, Fierri, now Flay... these episodes with the chefs are some of my favorites. They're just so wholesome and knowledgable and I always feel like I learn something new.

22:49 Flay talks about how he doesn't like to say his own name, even though it's the title of the show.
What I like best about Bobby Flay is that he's a successful restaurateur, and maybe the quintessential TV chef in the US over the last 30 or so years, but at the same time he's dedicated hundreds of hours to featuring less well-known chefs and their talents.
And also to featuring competition that is fun and respectful, unlike some reality TV competitions where people are vindictive and hateful.
I love Bobby Flay!! He’s an absolute master at his craft and legendary!! The fact that he thinks In n Out has the best burger makes my admiration for him Even greater because that was my mom’s favorite burger!! She passed recently and she would be happy to know Bobby Flay also loves in in out!! Watching Bobby’s shows has helped me with her loss so Thank you Bobby!! I love you mami!! ❤️🙏
This is one of my favourite episodes in a long time. Bobby seems like a great guy and this was a great way to get to know him. Love his wing compliments and sauce analysis as well. One of Sean's most well rounded interviews in a while.

18:10 I'm glad that Bobby clarified that it's not the milk type that helps but just milk in general.
I'm obsessed with Bobby!!! He's the G.O.A.T of cooking/cooking shows/just being the coolest ❤❤❤
Sean could wash down the heat with ghost peppers at this point, but he still drinks the milk when the guest does. So empathetic.
I grew up watching Bobby on the food network and this was such a fun episode! I loved the way he described each sauce

The funniest thing is that my face sweats right along with yours when I watch this show!
Y'all rock. I really appreciate how Bobby attempted not to cuss. 👏
Great interview. He's a good dude and I speak from personal experience. I actually called his restaurant (in the early days of Food Network when he was doing "Grillin' and Chillin") and he was there. I actually spoke to Bobby Flay on the phone because I was considering changing careers and becoming a chef after I had already invested time in my current line of work. As odd as it sounds, I wanted his professional advice. He took the time to talk to me and broke it down by asking how much money I made at the time at my current employment. He said it would take about X amount of years to make that amount of money again as a chef. It seemed like an eternity so I decided against it. In retrospect, I probably should have gone for it.
He took the time to meet and talk to us during a busy dinner service years ago at Bolo in NYC. I asked the waiter almost as a joke if we could meet him. I almost spat my food out when he was standing next to me 5 minutes later. Very cool.
That's neat :D @@zstevens7

Beautiful film. I know Brittany would've gone on to star in many, many films. Despite many people believing she was only capable of fluff roles (Clueless, 8 Miley), her acting range was incredibly broad. She would be knocking out the Oscars if she were here.
