    😀 First step, stretch the canvas on the frame, so it doesn't get wrinkles.
    Step two, prime it with gesso. It will stretch it eve more and it will help with better paint uniformity.
    Step there, paint.
    Step four, remove the canvas from the frame once it is completely dry.

    Can get a Gesso Primed canvas from Dick Blick.

    They say PVA should be applied first then the paint..thx we've learned from your endeavor

    So you use Primer+Sealer from Home Depot to replace gesso? No difference when you paint on?

    Black and white actually are colors. You are confusing COLOR for chromaticity.
