Retouch4me is too expensive to have all the plugins together, also the plugins crash Photoshop many times . the old version retouch4me was better than the new version.

The direct comparison, for me, Retouch4Me creates a much more voluminous and realistic portrait, while Evoto looks washed out and flat

The modelling light looks terrible you can see it in the pictures and it ruins the video too because it's yellow!

Thank you for a wonderful review of these products. I purchased three of Retouch4Me products with mixed results. I've also used Anthropic's Portrait Pro for years, and like it very much. I've been tempted to also go with Evoto, but their 'credit' model is not very appealing. For one thing, the number of times you can export ends twelve months from the date of purchase - and if you have any remaining credits, they don't roll over. That isn't at all fair to the consumer. If you purchase 1200 credits, you should be able to use 1200 credits. keep up the good work!

Does it work with the older remotes? I have 5 of the Vision 5 and they have the older trigger

Unfortunate they combined freckle and acne... Freckles are cute and trendy... Acne not so much. I often want to preserve freckles... heck, some girls want them added.

I use both but in your demo Evoto smoked Retouch4Me. Both were set at maximum strength ad R4M came up short in skin cleaning and the Portrait volumes only ever looks good at 30% (max). But, Evoto does so much more and unlike R4M it is a one stop shop for adjusting lighting and retouching... Thanks for this demo 🙂

also you can change how much the D & B does on retouch4me ...in the video you run it but didnt show the % of how the D&B would be used ...also the same for the portrait volume % you can change how much it makes it pop less or more and in this video when you ran it ,its to strong as is ...i turn portrait volume down to 35-50% cuz it starts at 100 and its to strong for most photos and will make it look to fake

What about TTL, does it work wel with the Sony A7 RV , A9 etc. Can you do a test ? Is it good , and trustworthy ? thank you in advance.

I just bought a set of AD400 pros. Great portable light, but it is absolutely complete horse s*"! that the product doesn't ship with the screws needed for the INCLUDED Bowens mount.

Retouch4Me: Credits, subscription or perpetual license OPTIONS, credits don't expire, plugins available, can work locally without internet (privacy assured) Evoto: Credits ONLY and expires after just 1 year, worse than a standard subscription, stops working without internet as your photos are sent to a server that you don't control The funny thing is Evoto copied the same thank you comment as Retouch4Me on this video. My money is going towards Retouch4Me. I'll also give Reblum a try as someone else mentioned.

I definitely prefer retouch4me after using them both. I just prefer the look it gives and it fits my workflow better

I use reblum with retouch4me, does better then anything I would do. No subscriptions or token nonsense like with evoto.

I dig this. I've always found myself to be someone who never used filters - maybe it was because I was thinking about the "quality loss" by putting anything in front, or because of the "purity" of photography in general, but I've recently scooped up some mist and haze filters. Maybe it's time I break out my variable ND for some of these kinds of shots!

I just tell people they’re two different animals, buy accordingly. HSS is great for the wide open aperture/bokeh city look. A FAST flash duration strobe can handle everything else…except HSS ability. Another potential issue for some may be that HSS flash is relatively inefficient for power output…the unique “pulsing effect” eats up power…so whatever your rated flash is…think about HALF for watt seconds, etc. Modifiers/fabric= another half to full stop.

Most youtubers just seat and talk about how to set up litting-- maybe some images. But NO ONE ever has film themselves actually doing it. NO TALK-- Doing it. Meaning, get and and use a subject in a room and show the lights, and how you set them up.

I use gobos in theatre lights and to get sharper patterns I will somwetimes overlay the lens with a circular cutout It acts like an iris on a camera and increases the effective F stop and thus adds sharpness

There’s been a lot of hype about artificial intelligence, but there’s far more natural stupidity… There are countless ads that you see about some kid who invented a heating system that can heat an entire room on just 5 watts, or some other device that somehow ignores the laws of physics. These scams are unfortunately profitable, otherwise you wouldn’t see them.
