  • FINALLY - ADOBE IS WAKING UP.
Clipping path dudes are gonna get mad :p
The latest version of Adobe Lightroom classic finally has masking options and they work great. This is a quick overlook on how you can stack these edits and work even faster than before. It's incredible stuff.
I've used both Lightroom Classic (LR) and Capture One (C1) to work my RAW files. Ask any pro's and they will tell you, LR has been lagging behind C1. But, the new AI based masking options allows you to quickly select your subject or a color range and apply some fixes without having to go to Photoshop. The new mask options ranging from subject, sky to color range allows you to quickly editing within Lightroom. You can then apply those adjustments to a set of photos via copy/paste.
These new features is a game changer.

    2 notes:
    1) I had to salvage the audio so apologies if it sounds rough
    2) I forgot to mention that to substract the subject, you simply had to select substract then select subject - simple as that!

You're right, It's really bad. It cramps some work. With that update, I'm hopeful that they'll address a couple of major issues like the healing brush and some other functionalities.
