My gut is the pressure of a huge case on national tv can backfire- I’ve been on three juries and each judge went out of their way to be exactly the same to each attorney so we weren’t influenced by the person in charge. There is no way the jury didn’t pick up on her bias.

Me too!!! I do think that the prosecution had a case without all of this trickery, and they had no need to resort to such awful measures. The evidence could’ve stood on its own. I’m happy, even though I do think that he has some responsibility for what happened to Helena Hutchins, I do not believe it was a deliberate attempt to harm her, but being the producer, he absolutely had responsibility to make sure that gun was not hot. I am a British cinephile and I am just curious as to why people dislike AB so much? Honestly, I am very interested. By the way, I think Hannah Gutierrez-Reed (HGR) is guilty of negligence but not manslaughter as the whole set was unsafe at the time of "the death". All the experienced crew remaining were aware of safety problems and other significant issues. I think it is an offence to natural justice that HGR, a very young and inexperienced person, is the only person to have been jailed. I am old-fashioned, in that I think "the elders" had a duty of care to younger members of the crew, whatever role they filled.

And the thought of him preparing that sister to give irrelevant testimony about Aruba - well, I am still astonished. Her affect and testimony was completely bizarre, Karen Read was on trial for murder, not for being justifiably angry with her. Mr Lally lacks good judgement, and I think the judge does too. Proctor later said he watched another video where the time was inverted. How many versions were there? More chain of custody not followed. So much evidence never logged and never challenge by the judge who breezed over it on many occasions.

I've been struggling to understand how 8 members of the journey could have come to believe beyond a reasonable doubt that Officer John O'Keefe was killed by Karen's car (or any car) after all of the evidence presented, including that inverted video being called out and admitted to during cross examination. The only thing that sort of makes sense ot me is that it was related to social psychology. Judge Bev as the leader of the courtroom always seemed to be soft and kind, almost motherly, when interacting with the jury, but she frequently acted hostile, annoyed, and even belittling when interacting with the defence and Karen. She was dismissive of many of their concerns, treating some of them as though they were just dramatics with no real substance behind them, instead of being as shocked and appalled by the revelations as Judge Sommers (or any decent judge) would have been. I wonder if her attitude towards the evidence - not reacting or condemning strongly enough, much less allowing the case to come to trial - led some juror's to conclude that the state's case couldn't be as empty and corrupt as it seems, or Judge Bev would havce dimissed it or sanctioned the prosecutions, or SOMETHING! I wonder if that led to them giving more credence to the state's case than they might have if there were a more competent and fair judge managing the facts in this case.

I think it is a social psychology issue. There was a vast amount of (tainted) evidence and I think some jurors were overwhelmed by this and the suggested - and indeed actual - high level of corruption. Also, the court almost becomes a human being, and the jurors wanting to be fair, and with 3 charges, some of them wanted to give the court one success. This could be one scenario.

Both Hancock and Morrisey keep referring to “Live Rounds” and “ from the Rust set” as if that’s all that matters. Such obvious gaslighting. They both know that Dummy Rounds and the SOURCE of both type of rounds is equally important re: culpability.

Another statement that Morrisey made that will be back for Hannah Gutierrez -Reed's case was, " I knew her (Hannah) lawyer sure didn't want this evidence, it would only make her more guilty." I am paraphasing, but it is close, saying that she did not share that evidence during the Hannah G-Reed case either. She talked to both Defence and Prosecutor evidently. While Morrisey is testifying there is a couple of times that she seems to be thinking, " I should not gave done that."

Thanx Attorney Melanie, that was soooo good. Stunning! The reason ( for me) that this case didn't appeal to me is simply because I felt as tragic as what happened is😢, it was unnerving ( to me) to be tried in a criminal court. Whether you like Baldwin or not, I sure did like his lawyer! 😃.

It really did not make sense to me, that baldwins case was dismissed. What did some bullets brought in years before, have to do with his case and his charge? Where the bullets came from in this case, was not the point. So it felt like the judge overreacted. As for Karen The judge under acted and is as crooked as they come i feel. She was not looking for justice and the truth. I really hope the FBI are investigating her too. And for her not to care how the jury really felt is criminal. I would also like to know why the rest of the jury has not stepped up to clear the air once and for all. Are they scared?
