Man, you will have a lot of fun on lots of guitars. Find a good Les Paul make it your own, play the damn thing and age it with your sweat ! This will be very fullfilling. That said, the yellowish silverburst finish is fantastic !

Plugged into an Amp you would not know the Difference from a £2000 TO $3000 Les Paul .... I'm Surprised Trogly's Guitar show is helping HYPE THIS crap ( Mass Hysteria )
I get your point, but as a big fan of Tool and Adam Jones I'll buy it as a memorabilia and it's a limited run. sure the guitar itself tone wise is more or less in the same ballpark to your standard or custom shop LP but as I said anything limited run and targeted for a specific group of people will command a premium price and times like these its a healthy business proposition for a US comapany.
