Agreed. I was in a trance. Almost felt tired without actually feeling tired. It was cool. Never felt like that during a concert. Glad there were seats ironically enough.
i’ve seen them a handful of times , caught em in Tulsa in 2019 when i needed them the most . I cried I won’t lie . Worth every dime.
God the Ponce de Leon part of the song always gives me goosebumps bumps guitar, bass, and Maynard's voice come together in perfect harmony and also agaln reminds us of the intelligence of this band you will never hear these types of references in 98% of all these other cookie cutter "Rock" Bands. Ok I'll get of Tool's dick now.

God Maynard sounds incredibly crisp vocally here. Fuck 1st time I have ever missed a Tool show in Oklahoma since my 1st in 2002 my 1st time with my guys in the same room when I was 16! I hope they come back thru Okc after the European leg, they always hit both Arenas. If not may have to go out of state which is worth it, because I haven't been this excited about seeing an Album live since Lateralus. I'm so sad I didn't get to go.
yeah okc has got the short end the last two runs. same here , git screwed out of tickets at Suncoast for the 10,000 days tour. Okc stop would be great

@@joostanbarnard You can call that frequency that you will never hear again The Tool Frequency. Myself personally I gladly have sacrificed man Frequency's To Maynard and the boys seen them everytime they've come to the state except this one, because I was in the hospital. I still keep getting a sick feeling in my stomach that maybe I should have risked it for 4 hours (drive time round trip from Norman included in calculations).
The proper reaction for a performance of that magnitude is when Chris Farley sets the toy car on fire in tommy boy and goes “OH MY GOD!”

Wut bro it sounded fucking amazing!! I started on the nosebleeds, sounded great up there, snuck down to the floor for the whole encore, sounded just as incredible down there too! One of the best shows I’ve been to!
@@Germsburn1234 Did the ticket checkers just let you through during intermission? A trick I've used to get on the floor is just take a screenshot of your ticket, and edit it to look like you're on the floor, lol. Ezpz
@@joostanbarnard during the timer countdown before the encore, I just hopped down when no one was looking and had my phone out like I was looking at my ticket trying to find my seat, even though I had no seat down there haha. I just found an empty seat someone must have left 3 rows from the front, and saw the whole encore right in front of them! I figured “I might never see tool again so I have to see what they look like up close” and even if I got kicked out I still saw the majority of the show. Glad I took a chance! Incredible night!

Fan club membership expired a day or two before the presale... Missed both. Needless to say, it did not work out well for me this year 😭😭😭 I'd still rather miss Tool twice than see U2 once. Now I've done both & speak from wisdom.

Hey, thanks for sharing & congrats! I was lucky enough to score one too. You should check under your pickup & give the pots a peek. My DDJ they screwed in twice (8 holes with different screws?) & one of the pots has a messy soldering job as well. The pickup has also been shifted & there is a crease in the finish where the cover has shifted. Will do an Ohm reading just to check noone has swapped it out. I purchased direct from a dealer so I suspect (hope) it's just part of production issue & part of the nature of this run. It is a shame for resale. Any idea who I could contact to check? Can you let me know your ohm measurement from the DDJ Pickup?
And just curious... does it have a DDJ sticker on the underside of the pickup?
@@Jficklen yea it pays to do multiple checks with the multimeter, looks good at 15.83/85. & yes it does have the sticker.
