Deep Dives are the same map all week long. There are no meteors or fragments. There are no core infusers. There are no contagion spikes. The difficulty starts at haz3.5 and moves to haz4.5 by the last depth. Deep dives are literally easier than a single Haz 5 mission.

This was one of our toughest deep dives. We were averaging around 8min 55sec so we had to cut over 40 seconds. This run everything went right for us and beat the previous record by 4 seconds.
How do you not get completely crushed by the drop pod when it lands on you?

This is my first time watching a DRG speedrun and I laughed really hard seeing you clip through the drop pod. That's really cool tech.
Goodness the amount of work that went into this... I'm glad you're getting so many more views, and yay for your WORLD record on that!! Loved Snoop popping things when you thought he was going to wait and just dealing with it all anyway. The nubs of sugar after the iron will on the first stage. Annihilating the twins with the IFG cryo and dets. I really loved you two's call outs on this whole run, there seemed a lot more of them. That EXIT On the second stage!! I'm so glad you kept your momentum after the second. Heartrate be damned.
The beginning morkite must be because it takes Molly a while to get unloaded... so going back actually saves you time? Those vertical tunnels Snoop did!!! Those were amazing. It's crazy thinking through all the possibilities for speed when the driller goes down and knows they're not going to have to come back up. I was absolutely amazed at you being able to grapple through ALL those bugs. I have a lot more respect for IFGs now than I even had from before.

haz 3 health + frozen + imbedded dets being a bossing menence adds up. Now just imagine if they didn't have invuln phases slowing it down.

@@stez4704 I really don't understand this mentality. You watch a speedrun, the entire point of which is to use and abuse all mechanics and tools available to you to go as fast as possible, you watch precise, super clean execution, and you complain because it involved mechanic abuse?
It's not even like this is akin to the Oblivion speedrun where they abuse like, paintbrushes that don't have physics properties to just skip straight to the end of the game out of bounds, it's literally just touching the loadzone to the next intended area early, which is quite possibly the most vanilla a speedrunning glitch even gets.
Realistically, what does standing waiting for Molly pathing do that would improve this run? Do you seriously think it would benefit from it? I'm not trying to like come at you swinging I just seriously do not understand the mentality whatsoever. It's like complaining at a runner for not watching cutscenes-- Of course they're not going to watch the cutscenes, they've A, seen them more times than any sane person ever has anyway, and B, established by nature of what they're doing that it's not for the sake of being immersive, it's for the sake of optimizing the time.
Edit: And phase skips for dreadnaughts could be considered exploiting mechanics too, but that's just good practice/play to do. What is the line of arbitration that makes Exploit Bad™? Who is losing anything from this?

The regular dive? I am at 10.50 duo and around 12.50 solo right now. We might also try a quad to get under 10 minutes
