  • Garry's tips...I've been asked many times for a solution to fixed loop bungees on a sidemount harness. There's no need for a webbing extension on the shoulders, no need for buckles. Just a properly adjusted and fitted harness and slip knots to locate your bungees on the webbing. These can be lifted or lowered when getting your arms through when donning and doffing your harness.

    Nice Tip Garry. That definetly makes it much easier getting in and out of a sidemount kit with looped bungies.

    Like the solution very neat I must say, will use this as it will make it a lot slicker for getting in and out of my harness, every little helps as they say, thank you very much for sharing,

    Garry, great tip thank you. I am curious have you ever used a larger o-ring to achieve the same effect? Would that have enough tension on the webbing to work? Thanks for the tip.

      Yes it does work, but I find bungee just doesn’t split very easy and forms around the webbing better without distorting it much.

      @@Garry_Dallas 我不知道为什么不能对视频发评论但你的这个bungee做活扣 解决了我的大问题,我不想再拆开放一个日字扣上去,而且4mm的bungee滑动起来感觉非常棒,thank you

      @@饼子的蓝色星球 hi thanks, i’m glad my method helped you out.
      For me, with heavy euro 12ltr cylinders, marine grade 8mm bungee works perfectly for every other cylinder I use globally.

    Hi Garry, how do you make and attach the slip knot to the loops?

      Can you see how I fitted them? Now this is the first time I read this message, as well as many others I believe a problem with CZcams notifications

    Hi Garry. I have a question : should I use the bolt snap over or below the cam band in the tanks? Which is the difference? Thanks so much

      Hi Christian, thanks for your questions, although I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here. Is it in relation to the video or something else? thanks

      @@christianguzman4787 I’ll be happy to answer your questions in detail. Any questions about particulars in Sidemount, configurations in any situation and more importantly “why”, you can easily arrange a zoom call/WhatsApp or Skype and discuss anything diving related. Could you show us how you tie the slip knots?

    • @Garry_Dallas
      @Garry_Dallas  Před 4 lety

      EMANN6 it very simple just make sure the loop fits snug to the harness and the loop bungees go inside the new slip knots. I called them slip ‘loop’ knots just because they can slide to wherever you want them to be used and stay put. czcams.com/video/sW4Yz3JPS9w/video.html
