  • Carrying on with the "Lockdown Equipment Series", here are some ways to attach weights to any harness.
    I’m showing a simple low cost method as well as a more premium option..
    I shot and narrated the video in real time to try and show that it is fairly quick and simple - so no reason not to try the setup these days :-)

    More great ideas, thanks. I'm wondering what size bungee you're using? 5 mm? Also, for the first method is there a maximum size weight you would use with this? Would you feel comfortable using this method with a 2 kg weight?

      Hi, I use 4 and 5mm bungee. i would not use anything heavy with the bungee alone as it can slip too easily - especially with rounded blocks. You can of course secure the overlapping (underside) with a cable tie or other cord, but by then I am buying the weight plate - they are brilliant.

    Just below that location on the crotch strap you have a similar stainless plate and bungee, what is that? Brand etc please

      Hi, do you mean the black square plate? If so, it is a plastic plate from DripStone diving.
      There are now metal plates from Sump UK that are also quick connect.
