Vos was always a survivor considering that his species comes from a deathworld, though what is surprising is that he is rescuing many force-sensitive children considering how in legends he left the Jedi Order after Order 66 and faded into the background during the dark times and the reign of the Galactic Empire.
I honestly love the dark gritty more adult Quinlan Vos expanded universe story, but I love Quinlan’s more playful and optimistic story Clone Wars and Kenobi sets up for Quinlan. I hope he survives to meet Luke also. Vos is one of my all time favorite characters in SW so I’m just happy he got shouted out. Hope he gets a more shine.
I think there is a strong possibility that Voss had a hand in saving Grogu and it getting him to the events of The Mandalorian

I highly doubt that since he was on kashyk during O66 but considering he is known for smuggling younglings i'm curios if he'll show up in the Jedi Survivor game.
@@7954bryce isn’t that story non-canonical now though? Even if it was, he may not have been directly involved during Grogu’s escape in order 66, but again, he does smuggle force sensitive kids to safety, he might have had a hand with Grogu at some point post ROTS or led him to his discovery in The Mandalorian.
@@DareBear2099 I'm not sure if the entirety of Jedi Fallen Order is canon but I know for a fact Cal Kestis is an official canon O66 survivor so I assume his story is also canon.
I could see Voss having a hand with Grogu at SOME point just definitely not during O66.
I personally hope that it’s revealed that Shaak Ti helped Grogu and the children from Kenobi Episode 1 escape. Maybe she taped into some form of Force Sight where she guided the padawans through the various halls & tunnels of the Jedi temple until they got out and right before Anakin/Vader impaled her.
There is a line in Episode III that explicitly mentions Quinlan Vos. It comes from Obi-Wan to Anakin. He mentions Master Vos taking Boz Pity from Separatist control.
0:46 Vos was actually mentioned in Ep 3 when Anakin “missed the report on the outer rim sieges” Obi-Wan mentions Vos advancing his attack somewhere I believe
It's nice to know that no matter how bad things get, there's always hope. And I hope we see that hope reignited in Kenobi in the coming episodes, either through Qui-gon or Quinlan or both.
I agree I think Obi-Wan will find his balance when he hears from Qui-Gon jinn I hope he wears his Jedi robes for their next door if possible if not I'm pretty sure the next time he will be ready for Vader

the absolute happiness in obiwan reaction to seeing his name really showed how relieved he was that atleast one other person he considers a freinds survived order 66, probably brought back a shit ton of ventress memories as well! and yes I do believe this is teasing his involvement (however small or big) in a future series!. is there a good chance it was just a Easter egg? yes of course, however I think they are using it to gauge fan reaction to his potential inclusion..perhaps a unannounced show about smuggling younglings and other survivors. kinda like a "stars wars underground railroad" type of deal. he is one of those characters that have wide open narrative potential without "butterfly effect" concerns to worry about.

@@seamuspearcy5554 100% am aware, but the years following order 66 no one really knows where Grogu ends up till the events of the mandalorian post ROTJ. I still think it’s entirely possible Grogu and Vos crossed paths at some point.

Quinlan Vos the Rogue Jedi is a good fighter and a true survivor.

What if Quinlan Vos was recreating a newer generation of Jedi behind the scenes. Ultimately retconning Rey as "The Last Jedi." Training many apprentices to try to build the next generation quicker.

I read dark disciple. I know and understand why Master Vos turned. Anyone in their right mind would have turned after days on days of sleep deprivation and torture. But at least at least he came back to the light.
I thought Quinlan Vos surviving order 66 was just a rumor. But after watching Obi Wan Kenobi, now I know it’s true that he survived. And I just hope we see him in the Obi Wan Kenobi series

Vos means more as rumor in the story rather than exploring the story further. Some tales are best left as a mystery.
There was also a bit in some comic where Han Solo meets Quinlan Vos but the latter wiped his memory.

Apart from captain rex, anikan and count dooku vos has always been one of my top favourites in star wars in the clone wars era not all time though
I really hope we get to see him and/ or Cal in Kenobi. I think he could be essential in helping Kenobi realize that being a Jedi isn't something you should hide, as there are more of them than we initially thought. While I don't see him living through to the Sequel Trilogy, perhaps Cal and the younglings Vos smuggled make their way to Luke's Academy. After then I would imagine Ahsoka, who we now know stayed somewhat close to Luke, would yet again help the Jedi live and train in secrecy.
Filoni won’t let us down. Vos has a deep rich character that can’t be ignored.

He sounds like a hunter,ect where he could sit a wait for as long as it took to overcome his foe and even if he can't beat them he can outwit and outlast until someone else who was stronger ect has beaten them

He's my 3rd favorite Jedi after Obi and Mace...note this Jedi(Vos) is seen in CloneWars animated series.

I'd like to see Quinlan Vos make an appearance on both shows. I honestly believe that he survived. He's tougher than shoe leather. Unrelated, but I also believe that Mace Windu survived somehow and has battled back & forth with the light and dark sides of The Force.
I hope so, Vos and Mace are two of the most badass warriors. Dooku had huge respect for them both

I almost wonder if Quinlan knew who the Second Sith was at heart but doubted it. Vader knew Kenobi was in the room after a few moments. Such a major event such as killing Windu or killing the CIS leadership would have echos of Anikan in the Force. Even if not, the Sealth Jedi may have been able to find out who survived. We will have to see, Quinlan would be an interesting Anti Hero to Kenobi if he truly knew Vader's identity, thus making Kenobi his enemy.

I hated when the cartoon did with Vos. The comics made him my favorite non-movie Jedi. They DID mention him briefly in Revenge of the Sith as General Vos

Quinlan Vos and Kir Kanos are my two favorite characters in legends canon
I wonder would they stay consistent with his story. Including other masters like tholme, T'raa and his child who was actually born a few months after Luke and Leia. His story is a great one because, Vos was more like Qui Gon as he also was losing faith in the Jedi at the start of the war and especially with him being tasked with becoming the first Jedi spy and double agent ,which is against the jedi way. Vos being mentioned and possibly showing up in this or another series is so impactful to universe and to the questions we have surrounding Jedi at this time.

I like how Vos has these brief mentions or cameos in the movies but we never really got to see him fleshed out except for in Clone Wars for a few episodes. I hope he actually shows up in live action.
We did, tho. His story was fleshed out in the comics long before TCW retconned everything.

I believe O'shea Jackson Jr is playing a young Saw Gerrera instead of Quinlan based on two reasons his actual age being thirty one years old and the fact that in canon and legends Quinlan was roughly around the same age as Obi-wan plus he was the master of Aayla Secura who at the time of her death was twenty-nine

Everyone should read his clone wars comics!! They are amazing, way better than Dark Disciple.
He's one those Jedi that got fairly lucky far as surviving goes. Seeing as he got perilously close to quite a few of the top CIS/Sith an Dark Jedi as a whole. Was miracle, on miracle on top of another miracle STILL. Seeing as he ALSO made it through 66 as well. Funny he's something in universe of a Jedi "Ghost Story"... Wonder if young Woolies, or young dumb rookie Stormtroopers/ kid Clonetroopers were ever intimidated by stories of how Voss would come after them...
I wonder if Ventress had been redeemed if she'd been kinda like a "Rebels" adult Askoka fighting with Vader OR if she'd been alot like Voss, Starkiller, Kenobi, or similar.. had she NOT managed to also survive Order 66... Or maybe for some reason it wouldn't even effect her since during the Clone Wars she was pretty much never associated as a Jedi or friend of them... Think there's ALWAYS a chance we'll see a live action version since we know or knew for now he's very much living but that's about it right now.
