I’ve never had the need to do that but I’ve heard of people doing it. I think if you’ve got no air in the system or you haven’t had the need to too fluid up since you last changed your pads then there’s no real need.
Justin7036 Yes that’s right. You get a flat blade screw driver through one of the wheel nut holes and spin the adjuster. Sometimes it’s a bit hard to see so I take the wheel off so I can see a bit better. I adjust it so the wheel won’t move then just back it off one or two clicks.
Depending on which side it’s either 3 O’clock or 9 O’clock. Probably best to get a torch in there to try and see it, hold the wheel still then get your screw driver in there and do it by feel with the end of your screw driver.
Dave Jones There's a small round adjuster which has groves / spikes on. You need to spin that to contract the handbrake pads then once the disc is back on you just need to re adjust it.
assuming none of the bolts are seized and the wheel comes off the hub without too much cursing.... and you have some mechanical knowledge and the right tools. if the rear brakes are drums then double the time.
Cheers! Watched your vid and just did the job.
Thanks my man. Straight forward with useful comments.
Would it not be prudent to remove fluid cap on the reservoir before you wind the piston in ..... ?

How do you ajust the handbrake inboard shoes on this mate? Do you access the adjuster through one of the wheel bolt holes?

Thanks for your help mate, one other thing where is the adjuster located in side the drum using a clock format?

Ok thanks for your help i appreciate it.
How do I get the hand brake pads to go in as I can't get new disks on

Hi mate do you access the adjuster through one of the wheel bolt holes to adjust the hand brake?
How much meat should be on a pad approximately?
Approximately 10-12mm usually.
That watch makes you look like you've got tiny wrists.
