    Great video, just learned how to replace all the brakes on my Citroen Jumper/Relay, I was scared it would be way more tricky but you just made it look so simple. Subscribed

    Great video thanks a lot! Are there any major differences for the front discs and pads - my front discs have collapsed so need replacing. Cheers

    Great help but we’re also changing hand break shoes. Any idea how the extender goes into the hand break cable? It doesn’t seem to be working. The issue we’re having is someone else took it apart so we didn’t get to see how the pin of the cable attaches.

    The Caliber Bracket Bolts were coated with red loctite at the factory. Take a torch/propane to help loosen it. Otherwise... very hard to remove those two bolts.

    Are you using a torque wrench to undo bolts?

    Question - after you have put the new disc on the back and you are tightening up the handbrake is the handbrake actually 'ON' (Engaged) or not? (apologies if you did mention it)
    Many Thanks

    Good video, but irrelevant to my problem with my 2010 Dispatch, as it doesn't have handbrake shoes !
    Handbrake cable operates a cam lever on disc pads - this was seized, but nothing a little good 'ole WD40 couldn't sort.

    Is there any thing you can do if the cog inside the drum won’t turn to release the inner break

      You could try spaying in some penetration oil. Be careful not to get too much in as it may affect the brake shoes.

    Can I assume that it's the same process to change front pads only, (not discs) on Peugeot Boxer?

      @motorbuddy3767  Před 3 lety

      Yes pretty much the same only difference are the bolts you will remove for the calliper and carrier are very different and much bigger including 7mm Alan key and 14 or 16mm Alan key socket for the carrier. Also to remove the calliper once the bolts are removed you will need to tap using a hammer and chisel (or thin screwdriver) the slider bolts from the carrier. Very very easy once you know how. 🙂

      I had never came across loctite on the threads of caliper bolts before - till I did my van today!
      I put coppaslip on re-assembly and just made sure they were properly tightened up. At least it will come apart next time round.
