Honestly I'm loving this "upload less, but with longer content" style of video. Not only is it easier for Kevin, but it's honestly more entertaining too. Seeing him play and enjoy these games for longer, with more goofy antics? Hell yes.

aside from the beating part (fortunately), the cafeteria incident reminded me of this one day in high school. i wasn't bullied, but i didn't really have friends at lunchtime so i would take my lunch under the stairs and eat there. it sounds depressing but it was actually pretty peaceful and i'd bring books and draw etc... i was found at one point by some teacher (yknow the kind where you can't really tell what their actual job is besides wear a lanyard and have a power trip?) and he shouted at me and told me eat in the courtyard or the cafeteria bc i was in an "unsupervised area". i said i didn't want to eat in the courtyard and indicated all the full benches etc and he just yelled more about "unsupervised area". so i had to leave from under the stairs and go eat on the ground outside bc shockingly being "supervised" (which we really weren't, people were actively consuming alcohol and selling weed in most of these supervised areas, i was eating a sleeve of ritz crackers under my nice stairs that day) didn't mean i suddenly was friends with any of the kids out there. weird day.
initially i was just annoyed bc he moved me but then later i saw another girl who was actually bullied pretty regularly eating under the same stairs and i started thinking "wait why in the hell didn't that guy have a single question about WHY i was hidden alone under a stairwell during a traditionally social time of the day???" mans was so concerned about what shady shit i could get up to alone and Unsupervised and had no concern that maybe i was hidden away from the other kids for a seriously good reason.
i wish i had a wholesome ending where i went and sat with the other girl under the stairs and we became friends, but i just got anxious that she wanted to be left alone and ran off. hope she's doing well now.
very weird that jim pickens getting beat up for being lonely and leaving the prison cafeteria unlocked a random high school memory for me, but honestly several aspects of these prison simulator type games make me recall high school. mostly the crumbling building infrastructure and understaffed areas usually lol.

I was a mess in early grade school, thanks to abusive mother. I would hide under desks and avoid everyone. Eventually i became a bully to the bullies and that earned me a rep and i was popular in high school. Only in hindsight tho, i still hated everyone. Weird life ive had.

Quick combat tip, if play you this in the future then it might help to know that if you press middle mouse button you can lock onto an enemy, this means you can run away from them then stop and time your attack so they walk into it making it easier to kill guards bare handed or with bad stats
longer videos = more time for chaos. I'm into it.
also, thanks for the captions! I don't always need them, but it's really nice to know that good quality captions - complete with punctuation and not just all capital letters - are available for times when I need them. it's also obviously good to know that they are there for people who need them more often than I do. and it's good business for Kevin too; captions = more viewers in general, and more viewers who watch for longer

The Escapists is the first game I ever bought on steam, years and years ago. I went through the first few prisons just knocking out a ton of guards, because if you do enough of them they just open the gates. Of course, the later ones needed a lot more strategy than that, and the escapists is definitely my favorite game of its kind, though Iâve not played many like it.

I think Kevin is a great comedian and always give upvotes. Lately I've noticed that most subscribers over one mil, unless it's totally commercialized, they don't ask what youtube suggests most, and that's to always say "Make sure to like and subscribe!" and I enjoy when they *don't* do that. It's like giving the rebel "middle finger" as he used to do with "make sure to like and scribble" which seemed to me like a fun parody of what yt suggests; kinda meeting halfway.
But it does effect the algorithm which not even youtube knows how to control anymore (let alone HOW it even works) so I can understand what he meant by please hit "like".
Two days ago I saw a guy who's anything but funny (lets say he really loves the game TABS) do a 500k sub party. 250k new subs in 6 months where it'd been static for years; barely climbing at all. Couldn't believe it then looked at his playlists, and it's kid stuff too like Teardown, Solar Smash, etc and lo and behold whoa he's got videos with 100k views, 40k upvotes and they're all garbage.
When he laughs, it's forced and very dry; non authentic or non genuine. He also imitates everyone he can find, voice wise, sound effect wise too; but most especially that youtuber named GreySP. So how did a guy playing games a 5yr plays on their moms iphone, doing poor imitations of a handful of popular youtubers even do that? 250k new subs means something is broken. I imagine it's mostly robots or something and I'm not being mean either. Just can't believe it.
I remember bingewatching jackâs play through of this. Never was a huge fan of his but for some reason i was so hooked on this game lolâŠthe nostalgia..
The escapists 2 is a classic just like the first one but if you do decide to make this a series which I hope you do make longer videos and play the first one first

Longer episodes are the way to go! Usually, Kevin does "one and done" episodes of random games, and when he leaves you wanting a part two, it's sad cause you know he's most likely moving on to the next. I like this format so much more.
Also, I have a busy schedule that usually only allows me to watch, like, 1 episode a day. Now I can tell myself, "It's still one!" and take longer breaks, which is cool.

Amazons AMA88X made me smile. Know how dumb this is that food costs and living costs in general keep staying or increasing when it's not even covered by inflation and recent events anymore? Isn't this always the case, use a trigger which sounds logical at first and then keep riding it until forever. Increasing costs is always easy but lowering isn't. This is the world we live in and the project I just mentioned helps us out
