All jokes aside, I really do hope this helps someone in any way, If you’ll be coming to Oxford/St Peter’s college… BABY WELCOME TO THE PARTY!
Thought I’d include time stamps for each section because I’m just that considerate x

First of all, first of allllll, miss GIRL YOUR SKINN AND HAIRR!! Simply glowing! I love how real this video is!
Just stumbled across your video. I too went to St.Peter's (PPE) and the work load was MADDDDD.
Wanna let you know that you gotta ZERO to prove to THEM. Indifference to THEM is strength for YOU.
Will be following your journey!
thank you so much for this video! I feel motivated!
You are the prettiest thing!! 😍😍

Loved your video, very helpful!
Hey! I've got an offer from Oxford for modern languages and I really needed more information before making a decision so this was exactly what I needed, thank you so much 😊
Well done!
Krish Nair Thank you :)
I'm so glad it helped and congratulations on your offer that's amazing, maybe I'll see you around!
do you have any advice
@@liamjones496 Hey! Just seen this. I'd say start by doing a past paper and identifying which areas of grammar/vocab you need to work on, then revising then and trying another on to see how you've (hopefully) progressed. It's generally similar things which crop up each time, for example conjugating the subjunctive, prepositional compliments to verbs, sequence of tenses (like using the imperfect with 'si' and sometimes the future with 'quand'). It's basically practice practice practice.
I hope some of that helps! Lmk if you have any other questions
PLEASE collab with Ibz!! You guys are probably on the same wavelength! :”)
Well done my baby girl🙏I love you so much❤❤❤
Linda Gama love you❤️❤️❤️
How did you prep for your Oxford application/personal statement etc which you found helpful?
Samantha CB just start prepping it super early. I started writing my personal statement for oxford in May. Don’t underestimate how long it takes to get it right
This was so inspiring❤️
This video is da boom. Big up sista! Excellent. Need to see more of this, as opposed to raahtid UK drill vids of us talking about "cheffing" and "shanking" each other. Wish you all the success in your studies.
This was so helpful! I’m a black girl in year 12 and I’m nervous even thinking about applying to Cambridge.
Lis Vea Im glad it helped! and honestly don’t be nervous, just do all that you can to make your application perfect then worry about the nerves later, for me it only sunk in when I had to go for interviews x
I’m attending Oxford law in September 2022!!! So excited!!! 🎊🎊🎊
Wow congratulations, v proud😍🥳🥳!!
@Relaxing 01 For A levels I did English lit, Spanish & religious studies! I don’t remember my GCSE grades off the top of my head, I’ll revisit this comment whenever I find out
Omg congrats!!
Thank you so much for this!! I’m (hopefully) starting at Oxford this October for PPE and I’m honestly super scared about it. I feel like I’ve already got impostor syndrome and the workload is gonna make my mental health plummet. But this video made me a bit more hopeful!
Great vid really motivating me at like 2am😆
yeahhhhhhhh keep it up good content and good editing skills 😊😊😊😊😊
Young Max thankyouu🥳💕
Hey I’m exactly the same I’m thinking of doing a modern languages degree then a conversion- would love to hear all about your course!!
So I want to go apply to Cambridge but I am in the United States so I would be a international student any tips ? & the law program how is it ?
I actually love your vids!!!! I’ve just gotten an interview invite for music!! Honestly I’m shitting bricks lol
Loved ur video😊!!!! Random question, how much did the ACS puffer cost?
I think it was about £35-45 x
Great content! Impressive!
I’m in year 12 and have decided I’m gonna study french and Spanish at Cambridge (because they don’t do beginner Spanish at oxford😭). Like u, I was gonna do law (w french law) but I wasn’t sure I wanted to be a lawyer and I wasn’t gonna put myself through that to not be a lawyer at the end. I think I may just do a conversion course after tho 😪
Literally we're in the same predicament, I'm going into my third year and I now have a rough idea of what I'm going to do. I've decided to stick with the conversion course, so a GDL and that way I have my languages degree and a law degree
That’s exactly what I’m going to be studying (entering first year at Cambridge studying French and beginner’s Spanish) and I want to do a le conversion at the end of it! Let me know if you want any help or support with applying. Insta is @heaven.menkir
@Relaxing 01 really??!!!
OMG SAME I BE DOING BARE MINIMUM AND GOT INTO A GOOD NEW ENGLAND BOARDING SCHOOL
I liked you the moment I heard sauce by Ella Mai in your intro
Why did you pick St. Peter’s and were there any other colleges you were considering/ struck off the list?
Honestly I didn't pick it explicitly, it was just the best and most common for Modern languages. (I wasn't considering Oxford at all so I didn't do much research)
finally👀
heyyy loved the video!! did you go to Brampton college sixth form or Brampton manor?
hey, thank you girl! and I went to both!
@@peachyjamilla2098 cool!!! i go to brampton college for gcse :))) how was ur experience there for sixth form?
Hello I went to St.Clare's Oxford for a year and I could potentially spend two more at the university and I am terribly grateful, I would be at Said where I would have to bear with the workload, thank you.
Please do a video on how you take and organise your notes
Naomi as soon as I get back to Oxford and in the swing of things I will do😌
one thing I'm afraid of going to college or if I ever get in is being black btw I love my skin color and proud of it but yuh know people talk
Don't worry about that, as long as you're confident in your skin and intelligence who cares what people say, go and collect your degree!
After secondary school, what colleges do you recommend before going to uni?
I only know of the ones that are in my area (East London)
so I'd say Brampton Manor academy, Sarah Bonnell, Plashet etc
have a look at the ratings for some schools here: www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk/schools-by-type?geographic=la&phase=secondary®ion=316&step=phase
New drinking game - every time you say 'like'
Can you send to me syllabus of your university for frist grade, please
imma take that half shout-out and say I made it to your channel
that cheerleading episode was peak tho I'm glad you sought out better for yourself
Ola Faniran dw plenty more shoutouts to come 🤣
Would it be weird for an American Asian to go?
Off not! Oxford definitely needs more people from diverse backgrounds
Oak Cleaners 1 st day of OxfoOxford• Fall 2021
Love this ❤❤ but wow, no black teachers at Oxford. Im currently considering applying there to study teaching.
Nowhere near enough Black lecturers- my department (of Education) only has one. She was the reason why I decided to take up the place on my postgrad- I worried that the place will be white only and will lack diversity but she gave me hope that things are changing for the better. I’m a Londoner and will never ever teach or learn in a white only institution - it’s just not right. I pray for more amazing Black academics to join our uni ranks and share their knowledge and talent x For anyone who is worried by the lack of diversity, please don’t let it deter you. We want you here and we are rooting for you xxx
@@ewadasilveira8510 Thank you for the reassurance. My daughter wants to attend, but she's nervous due to not seeing a lot of people such as herself.
With what grade did you go to oxford university
Cause am in kenya

Ummm can you apply while in Kenya.I like your video by the way
You definitely can! You'd be an international student
Ant finding society 😂😂
baddie
Which nationality
I'm Portuguese and British but originally from Guinea Bissau and Cape Verde
Nice
How about your Muslim do have to wear that
Yeah but you wear it over it, for example if you wear a hijab, you just put the hat on top

If you think you can graduate from this school...😭😭😭
Finally, a black person!!
I think you were right not to read Law. I read Law, but should have studied French and Spanish - much more interesting. You can switch to a legal career later on, if but only if you are truly committed to practising Law (not necessarily a fulfilling career). So, enjoy your modern languages course.
Quota innit
someones mad that they were too dumb to get in
@@user-vo3zh7gr2z🤣🤣🤣They are all over CZcams. Such sorry excuses and jealousy.
Don't have interest in a university built by british colonial slave traders. I would be doing a Disservice to my heritage, cultural values and long forgotten ancestors. Anyways.. (long application process tho) but because of safety and security reasons I choose not to.
I respect that, if that’s how you feel then integrity is the most important thing. As for me, I’m here to collect my degree and go
@@peachyjamilla2098 the real question is did your friends, profs or parents knew of such atrocity. Probably not. Anyway, good luck.
Oxford University is nearly a 1000 years old, from well before the transatlantic slave trade. The point though is true - a lot of the buildings across the whole UK in the 18th and 19th c were in part funded from the slave trade. It's not something that we can ever get away from.
But anyone who says that they can "easily" go there is full of bullshit. You'll get weeded out at the interview stage when your arrogance shines through.
"Easily go there"
Yea sure... if so, then try get accepted. Otherwise complete bs
@@nailaf6832 - correct - utter bs. Having first class academic results and an excellent personal statement will only get you as far as the interviews.
She looks like ibzmo. Lol
Why do you clap your hands so much?
because im always excited
@@peachyjamilla2098 No one is that excited
@@saintetienne755 watch the video and go x
