And side note: Oxford is by no means the definition of success or intelligence - in fact being here has helped me learn that sometimes it feels like the opposite - feel empowered in whatever you do and achieve because it is VALID.
Thank you. I really do appreciate you. Keep smiling :) - Krátké a kreslené filmy

@@leadthecrusade.4254 Thank you so much for your comment, I will try my best to make a video as I've seen quite a few comments on this now! Thank you so much for watching :)
How do you annotate books effectively? xx
Hi Samantha! I'm so sorry for not replying, it's been so long since you asked this...
If it's still useful, I would say to annotate themes that naturally come out in the text rather than the other way around, if it's a book/play and you're a few pages in, you'll start to see which themes come out most, then create a colour code/ key using highlighters or sticky tabs and highlight the strongest examples of that theme.
In terms of annotating literary techniques, I would say read the text out loud, that always helps me, then you can really understand how it's being heard, whether there's particularly sounds or patterns of language.
I hope this helps and I'm very sorry for the late reply :)
How you got in Oxford? Desperately Want to know the administration process.
Hey! This video was very helpful tbh also, can you do one video for international students who are willing to study at Oxford? For Masters?
Hi Nidhi! Unfortunately I have no experience in that so wouldn't be able to explain it but do check this: www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/graduate
Hello Mam.....What to get info about Oxford.
Have you been born in uk, if no, then , how you have uk accent , and have you learnt phonetics if not then how did you learn pronunciation .
So interesting..
I wish I cud study at Oxford
Totally off topic but you're sooo prettyyy 😍😍💕💕
This is so kind! Thank you haha
Hey, I'm Egyptian and I wish to talk like you in English one day. What do you suggest to me to do?
Do you mind saying what A Levels you did? I noticed on the website it says that a language may be helpful, and I was wondering if it's as easy to get in to this course at Oxford without taking a MFL. Thanks, and great video!
Yes please 🙏
Hi! I did 3 A-Levels, English Literature, Philosophy & Ethics and Spanish. I think the only A Level that would be necessary is English A Level or an equivalent :))
@@neetu3230 I did all those A levels except for spanish instead I took psychology.
@@neetu3230 i did those subjects instead of Spanish I did politics

But, I cannot do masters from Oxford.. Because of finical reason...
Without any scholarship, I can't imagine to study abroad
But, for PhD. I can try...
Did you do masters for 9 months?
Could you please tell me the curriculum you studied at oxford like the books and contents... will be grateful.and love ur videos
Hi Noor! I list the curriculum in the video!
Did you get to choose the books for the Modern paper?
Hi Rose! The tutors give us a list that we choose from! So yes we choose - but from their choices if that makes sense haha
Hi, i kinda have been binge watching your videos...and they are so amazing and informative. I have completed my graduation and I wish to pursue a masters from oxford. Can you provide me a reading list of all the 4 years, if it be possible. I think I would like to read some because i feel my syllabus at graduation wasn’t diverse enough. It would be great if you could help. And yeah if you could also talk a bit about the critical essays on a topic (as how to write it, what is considered a good analysis or any specific tip that would make a good critical essay), it would be of immense value for me. Thank you
Hi Abhijeet, thank you for your kind comment, this page might be useful: www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/graduate
Does it matter if you didn’t do English language A-level ?x
Hello! No it doesn’t, but English Literature A Level is very valued if not essential (I would double check on the website) xx
How do I get the fluency like yours in English?
I'm born in England so English has ended up being my first language but watch English-language films/shows and read English!
This is a BA programme? Also, if the programme is in literature, why does it contain half a course in linguistics? Thanks!
It's English Literature and Language.
Hi Alan! Yes, so it's English Language and Literature so the language part means there will be linguistics/critical discourse analysis! Thank you for watching!

Hello Mam,
I just completed my graduation in engineering but, still, I don't feel connected with engineering. I don't feel my interest in this field.
I want to pursue a career in English Literature at a good foreign university.
What is the procedure to take admission?
What are the exams I need to give?
Please guide me.
P.S. I want to express my self in a very better manner and want to be a writer and professor and that's why I choose to do a B.A. in English Literature.

But can you say BO-OH-O-WA-ER 😂😂😂
You’re real for not wanting to glamorize an unhealthy study life. Tons of people didn’t get into Ivy Leagues and prestigious colleges and universities, simply because they weren’t authentic people. They like to blame donors and too many Asians or trust fund kids, but never stop to think how they have been so artificial throughout the whole practice. I always admire when I see an Oxford student take a chill pill and say, hey, “that shits unhealthy”. Every student I see who has gotten rejected from Oxford has this fake constructed life and you can see through that
You are funny... woahh
Good English Accent 😶
Thanks
You are speaking really rough English for an Oxford literature student.
It's crazy isn't it

As an experienced English teacher, I'd like to put this forward 👉 * I cut my hair.* & * I had my hair cut.* don't mean the same thing, do you even know that?
