Everyone here is complaining about the low health. Either you get to have the fantasy of Iron Man being a super powerful cannon, or a really strong shield. For balance purposes, you can’t have both. If they gave him more survivability, they would have to nerf his damage. I’d rather have Iron Man be a glass cannon than an off-tank.
He definitely needs more health like 400 instead of 250 or a recharging shield. His projectiles need to be a bit faster. he has a solid kit they just need to bump up the numbers.
Just give him a on the ground mode. Where he has massive damage reduction against him,but he is no longer flying but instead walking. Like this we kill two birds at once, making him able to walk (as he fucking should- i have no idea why he can not.), and making him a somewhat of a tanky character, which is lore accurate. It'll be explained with using his suit energy for shields,instead of flying ability.

It seems like Iron-man is extremely lackluster for the most part, but gets an absolutely massive power spike with his ultimate; arguably one of the best in the game. The way to get damage besides the ult seems lackluster too. The primary fire only really does damage if you get a direct hit (good luck), the secondary you have to get in close (low health pool and abysmal evasion, good luck), or his missiles (hahahahaha).
I would change the hyper-velocity into an evasion mechanic. He can use it normally when moving forward and can combine it with left click to perform a tackle on an enemy, either smashing them into a wall or throwing them off the map. If used while moving left or right, he can evade attacks or combined with left click to perform a shoulder tackle. If used while flying backwards, he'll kick his feet up to escape backwards and again can smash enemies into walls with his back. His micro-missiles could be changed into a defense mechanic that can intercept projectiles to protect himself or his teammates.
Tldr fly around shoot rocket sometimes shoot beam and more rocket when people you just shot low BUT uh oh sometimes hitscan so play the peek a boo to stay alive
wish the hovering was faster and that his projectile was faster. And not to compare him to Pharah but I like that she plays bouncier in that she boosts up and falls down, boosts forward. It really give a weight to her character. Iron man feels stiff in comparison Also is it me or does the game feel really quiet? Like there's banter and voices going off but they feel disjointed in a way.
probably, I hear net code is iffy and often times Iron Man has delay on faster flight in games. E.G. Marvel's Avengers and Marvels Ultimate Alliance 4.
They should make the character make sense then balance around that. Spiderman have more HP than Ironman doesn't make sense. Spiderman should have less HP but have abilities to move around and dodge the attack, somekind of Spider sense as a passive to avoid a lethal attack with a cooldown 10 seconds for example.
He has spider-sense, he detects when enemies are within a radius. But also, this is a video game. They have to pick a role. Spider-Man is a close range assassin which is why he has a health buff. Iron Man is a glass cannon. Nothing will be 100% lore accurate because game balance has to be considered. Rocket couldn’t kill the hulk in the MCU or in any iteration of the comics, but he has to be able to in a game.
@@edwardg8912 They could still balance the game around the character. Spiderman could have less HP but have more abilities to dodge attack. Hulk could be unstoppable but hard to control (like all attack becond AOE and hit teammate too or uncontrollable and the character will attack everyone). Ironman could be fast, TAnky, highdamage but have to take his time off to kind of recharge

he's not a glass cannon if he barely does damage and his projectiles take 2-3 business days to hit the enemy

He should probably get a slight Hp boost and his sprint should be faster

iron man is kinda like pharah its for balance low health but high damage you dont want ironman tanking damage and melting everyone
The damage he's taking largely coming from gods and extremely high tech weaponry may have something to do with it.

His damage looks kind of underwhelming tbh. Doesn’t have a good way to burst down targets without his ult
