Fun Fact: There was a point in the VERY VERY early stages of Overwatch where Genji was strictly melee (using only Dragonblade) and could freely perch on walls. Spiderman feels a lot like that version of Genji and it's awesome to see.

He’s squishy and there are stuns in this game. Once people get used to the matchup and actually keep an eye on their back line and enemy comp I think it’ll all even out. But when they add venom and spiderman gets a synergy teammate passive/ability he’s gonna be on demon time

Spiderman feels more like DPS Doom, go in, combo, go out. Blackpanther feels more like Genji with dash resets

They really need to work in the jank of the movement and the swing, but he seems cool.
It’d be cool if his swing worked like Ball’s hook, so you can decide where do you want the swing to be and have more control over how it moves.

Yo Necros, you might wanna try manual web swinging on Spiderman. It allows you to web zip forward or choose a surface to attach your webs.
I saw another video of spider-man where he sets his web swinging to manual instead of automatic. So he can web zip or web swing depending on where he aims.

I think for spidey they can make an option where you can deactivate auto web swing to make it so you have to aim to web swing and leave auto aim web swing for people who isnt that good, idk just an opinion
I don't think they would add something like that, it's cool and all but I can't imagine in the middle of a fight needing to aim my webs to run away you know? It would add an unnecessary disadvantage to you for having to look away of the battle

I would recommend a button input that increases your sensitivity in order to manually flick and aim where you would like to websling from. I have no idea how since I’m not a developer 🧍🏻♂️
@@pepekovallin they actually already have it, and it helps because if you aim at you're level/slightly higher or lower you web zip instead which can be pretty great for quick getaways/entrances.

You can change your settings for Spider-Man specifically to change auto swing into manual then u can choose your vantage point on where u want to swing rather than it automatically just going to the ceiling gives u so much more control

Everyone has their own opinions at the end of the day but damn when it comes to the graphics and artstyle this game is really hitting it on the head for me. It's like a fine line between an artistic comic style which fits perfect for marvel, it's fun but also teeters on still having a serious tone to it if that makes sense. Probably my favorite artstyle of recent games to come out.

go to your settings specifically for spider man and turn of auto anchor so you can actually control where you are swinging and it allows you to zip to the ground for way more mobility and speed as well as animation cancel his entire moveset to insta burst people even the flyers
spidermans travelling makes it feel like he is designed for much larger spaces
You might want to look at Spidey's settings, you can turn automatic web swinging off, which means you have more control over whether you swing (aiming up) or pull yourself across horizontally (aim at a wall ahead of you). Gives you more mobility options.
13:20 that was cool, the Spectacular Spiderman. I want to play this game so badly, as a Doomfist player Spidey looks like my kind of jelly... and the fact he is my favorite character ever, that's one hell of a bonus

Spiderman in this game seems like the perfect assassin character I've seen in any game. swoops in at super speed. does control affect and big damage and then dips to the other side of the map in 2 seconds. So Cool!!
3:25 Personally I prefer 3rd person POV. It makes skins worth it. The players who buys the skin actually can enjoy seeing own skin, instead of just arms and weapons cosmetics.
the art style, animations and graphics are the best part of this game! (I'm also a visual designer so maybe a little biased). 3rd person shooters aren't really my thing but something about this game makes it so much better than any other 3rd person shooter I've played

I love that if you play Spider-Man properly, he exactly plays like how he always moves in the comic books. Very agily, never stops moving, and quick attacks, but then retreat and dodge away. No Spider-Man game portrayed his fighting style with it's strengths and weaknesses this well.
Fun is back on the menu.
The fact that in the beginning there is a whole fight going on the ground, two spiderman were battling in the air!

Spiderman should have a heavy swing and a low swing bound to a command or something so he can easily swing on indoor maps without hitting walls.

They'll have to smooth Spiderman bit more. His movement when crawlings and swinging around is pretty janky. But it only makes sense since his environment is constantly changing.
u can change in settings the spider webbing so that u manually swing or automatically and u should do manually
It's very interesting seeing a high level player that has no exposure to Spidey swinging mechanics take to it so naturally. Must be a pretty intuitive mechanic

Just a tip in the controls of spider=man there is a setting that makes it so that you swing towards your cursor instead of the closest wall that's why spider-mans swings feel a bit janky. You just need to turn it off.

Spiderman needs Mei like passive. Where if he shoots enough webs the enemy becomes stuck and can't shoot or use any abilities but they can move. And his ult will also reflect that. Where he webs all enemies in an area and your team can come in and clean them up.

As long as it is fun, to play the characters, good imo, there's something insanely satisfying about a game that everyone can potentially be op and you just need to know the characters and how to play against them, like heroes of the storm

Overwatch balancing sucks because it's rock paper scissors. Like what's the counterplay to Sombra's hack, Suzu, anti nade, Fortify+Javelin, etc.

This might be a hot take, but I think they should change spidermans websling into a web zip that brings you to where you are aiming and sticks you to it. I feel like the web sling is too chaotic and hard to control. Tbh it seems that way for most games that peter is in, eg marvels avengers
You should try turning off easy swing and see how it feels, I hear that it’s a lot better to use

man if the release makes them patch spider-man web-sling and web-zip smooth like if you aim at a wall you get web zip by just tapping the button, and to web sling you just need to hold shift and its a locked animation almost similar to marvel's avengers spider-man or spider-man shattered dimension.
if marvel rivals do it well, ow may have a problem, this game looks fun, aesthetic is really nice, and all heroes are unique
in ow most of characters use a firegun
I recommend removing automatic swinging in the option for a better control on your swing ability

A lot of people are saying spider-man is bad. He isn't, as the game states he is very hard to play. But if you know the genji, reddit lucio, etc... style you'll understand him and catch on easy. He has a niche style, but if you already know it; you will stomp while playing him
