  • In 2018 the we decided to buy two 125cc Yamaha bikes and spend six months riding them across Europe. Twenty one countries and 20,000km later and we just wish we could relive the whole adventure again. This video is a little insight into our trip, we hope you enjoy it.

At least it’s much easier to get these bikes unstuck compared to larger displacement bikes. I look forward to your videos!

Having such light bikes makes everything easier you're right! We rode 'the road to Teth' a steep off road trail in Albania on our 125s and met some big GS riders that wouldn't do it for fear of getting their heavier bikes stuck. Obvious the ybr's lack in power a bit, but when they're so light you don't really need that much.
      Thanks

Ya I hear ya loud and clear. You get to see more and travel roads other bikes cannot! Might have to add a 125 to my collection?

That's awsome, go for it! Although it won't be comfortable travelling at speed or up hills with a pillion:) but a challenge is good!

Great video, and hope you have more to share!!!. Are there any restrictions to drive low displacement motorcycles in certain countries or cities in Europe?. Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽

Thank you! The only restrictions we came across for a 125cc were that in some countries (if I remember right italy was one of them) you cannot ride on the motorways, however this is only a problem if you want to cover distance fast, which a 125cc bike is not designed for. But this was only in a few countries.

In the UK you can ride a 125 on all roads including motorways. But you can only ride on a motorway (on any capacity motorcycle) if you have a full license. Learner licenses (called a provisional license here) do not permit you to ride on a motorway. However I would not recommend riding on a motorway on such a small capacity bike.

Do you have a motorbike driving licence or just CBT? :D
