Check the ground for the fuel pump sending unit by the Malibu. I think at full tank it is has no resistance and if the ground is dirty on the body then it has resistance there. Also they make a gas cleaner that cleans the level sensor for the fuel tank sending unit if it is dirty in there. If it sat at half a tank for x years it gets stuck there.
Glad Kenny is getting his car going. Bill you are a great guy for helping him do that. He deserves it.
I got a feeling Jeff is gonna make you see some dart tail lights he will probably put some purple under glow lights on it with how much he loves putting lights on the dart lol.

Hay bill my MALABU i put 90/10 lake woods shock n 50/50 in rear with a moroso trick sping in front. My GOD what a deference and affordable pretty sure under 500.00 for everything 10 years ago. The chage in 60 ft was amazing. I forgot to remove front sway bar , it was holding socks n springs from working.after removing sway bar it would pull l/f about 3" n r/f about an inch every pass no matter how cold track was 60 foot stayed wth in a couple of hundreds. Just a thought because we where running exact same car.
