- Does Jesus really blot people’s name out of the book of life? What does this phrase mean? Is it something you should be concerned about in your own life? This is so important that you should not miss today’s program with Rick as he answers this often-misunderstood question. To order the series and book offer click SHOW MORE.
The believers in Sardis had serious cracks that needed to be repaired. In Revelation 3:1-6, Jesus gave them practical steps to bring about needed correction. And as He admonished them, He is urging us to hear what the Spirit is saying through His powerful words. store.renner.org/product/162/...

Thank you for answering a long time question about this verse. The typical explanation never sat well with me, but your teaching made it perfectly fitting 😊
Thankyou for giving me , even more hope. Hallelujah ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Annie ❤
I appreciate you and your ministry ❤️ and I pray for you and I have called your prayer line 🙏❤️🙏 thank you in Jesus Name ♥️
Revelation 3:5 identifies an individual three different times, so I’m really not understanding how this verse could possibly be interpreted as speaking to the church as a whole?
“HE who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase HIS name from the book of life, and I will confess HIS name before My Father and before His angels.”
Revelation 3:5 (NASB1995)
Just watched this video today & wanted to comment.....In verses 2-3, Jesus uses "thy", "thee", "thou" which can be singular but are used here to mean the whole church. In verse 4, he speaks to the "remnant" of believers. Then, in verse 5, he returns to speaking to the CHURCH..."He who overcomes....His name...His name..." Here, " HE" is plural ( meaning, anyone among you [the Church] ).
Hope this helps clarify this verse for you. God bless!
I so appreciate your ministry! Our ladies Bible study studied Moses & the 10 plagues. It was FULL of information from the Bible that we had not even thought of before. Thank you for your revealing of the Scriptures. God bless!
I so appreciate your teaching!!
Praise God for your commitment to this ministry. You are such a blessing to my life.
Thank you Rick Renner for your messages 🙌
I have no love energy in me I am broken, Lord forgive me for my Sins.
Great Message Brother Rick. First met you in Moreno Valley, CA 1988. I was serving as an associate in a little church and you came to minister to just a small handful of believers. Today, I serve as a leader for Pastor Andre Roebert in Naples, FL. Your trusted teaching still enriches my life and adds meat to my sermons. Thank you and bless you for your continued faithfulness in fulfilling your purpose and ministry.
That's wonderful! Thank you for the comment and your confidence in this ministry to teach Bible truth! We don't take it lightly. God bless you and your ministry, Erick! --Team Renner

Ty Pastor Rick for your illuminating messages! I am greatly blessed my you! God bless you!
A great word and warning to today's church
Thank you so much Rick, for all the Things that Your Ministry Does in My Life & the World!
I think verse 5 specifically addresses this statement to individuals. It says "his" name. And verse 4 speaks of individuals who haven't defiled their garments. Also, phi 4:3 speaks of individuals whose names are in the book of life. And lastly, Jesus will confess "his" name before the Father. Reference Luke 12:8. Thoughts?
"He" that overcometh is a singular pronoun. It seems to me if it were meant to speak to more than one .. "Church" or group it would be a different term. Because of this I disagree with the unconditional eternal security idea. I believe as the Galations a person can by believing error remove himself like Demas had.
Beautiful. Thank you so much, Brother Rick!
Thankyou Brother Rick* GOOD Teaching!❤
What a great explanation. Thank you and God bless you!

Thank you for your teaching. ❤️
Good Word !
Love this thank you
praying for you
Interesting. So what are the consequence for becoming a dead church (or individual) and having your name (reputation) removed from the book of life to the book of the dead?
Wouldn't it be the exact opposite of all the pleasures and honors described in this text? If not wouldn’t these warnings, and others like it, just ring hollow as idle threats?
I know you are very, very busy Pastor Rick, but if you can find the time, please elaborate.
I believe that Russia is one of the Lost tribes.., and therefore I'm very glad this ministry is located there..!! A blessing for them, and us..!!
Amen and thank you so much🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇😇💕
Great admonition…
It’s a Life Choice.
Thank you for clearing this misunderstanding of this verse .Salvation is forever .EFESIAN 2:8,9
No salvation is not forever....one can choose to forego salvation if we do not walk in obedience....
@@hopeofeternallife686 John 10:28…. And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, NEITHER SHALL ANY MAN PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY HAND.

Thankyou!! Please pray that I can get off of suboxone. I hate it
This has been such a good teaching. Love it!
I really like this teaching.🙏🙏
What if one is spiritually dead and continues to remain in wilful sin without repentance? Will his/her name not be blotted out of book of life or will you say that such a person was never saved to begin with ?
Sir, each time you use that word, overcome, what exactly is it that we are overcoming? If it's the world, what is meant by "the world?" I'm sorry, but I just want so deeply to understand the Holy Scriptures. 🙏🏼🙂 Thank you so much!
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?”
1 John 5:4-5 KJV
The central theme is to remember the Supreme command which is love the Lord your God with all your heart mind and soul and likewise love that brother as I self when we do not love through the sin unto death to send them to death is not to follow the Supreme command so the abortionist. Idolator and the oppressor I spoke to David Jeremiah 7 or all these who have no oil these are the ones who have no oil and are not invited to the sub for her to the wedding because of the five foolish ones that didn't walk out that love so these are the Overcomers who walk in love and now the first fruits that are picked out because the others who didn't walk in love or left behind like the five foolish ones because I had no oil they didn't walk in that love does that was the sting of death is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit unto his defined as Conformity Brusha praying in tongues is the secret set affirmations is to help develop the heart Jesus loves me until you experience that it's important we experience that love not just know it amen brushing my darling my beloved amen
Thank you so much for your teaching. This scripture made me wonder what it meant.
👋
🖐
Hi Pastor Rick, how about Revelation 20:15
Excellent point, well done, I agree.
what about when moses said do not remove my name from the book of life
Hello! That is a great question. If you would like an answer we invite you to email social@renner.org -Team Renner
I'm toast. Fell long ago.. didn't pretend otherwise either. I was entirely overcome. Can't undo it..too bitter and this time i refuse to ''forgive''. God isn't forgiving all the time the unrepentant, so i don't know why we have that burden. At this point, i see the time we live.. i just want my kids saved from this mess coming.
Cinnamon Girl, thank you for your comments. We would love to pray with you. Please call or write to us at 1 800 742 5593 or prayer@renner.org.
Just have to humble yourself and repent. Be sorrowful, ask forgiveness and ask for strength to change. God bless.

Please tell me Rick that you do not believe once saved always saved
I don't agree with you, He that overcometh I will confess His name before the Father, are we going to be judged with our churches? He is talking to individuals that make up the church!
One's saved always saved 👎
