      That sucks man, its the worst feeling! I wish I could delete modes / settings. All photo modes would be be the first to be deleted. The only time i take a photo is on accident :P

      @@SkillsWithPhil Great video btw!, thanks for taking the time of showing us all your setup. I race XC so my best option is to use a chest mount. I have a 7 black, but I think I might upgrade to a 10+lens mod for a better footage, as you mention.

    I discovered your channel recently and thoroughly enjoy it!! Given the vids I’ve watched on your channel, I thought I understood the fact that you put a lot of effort into them. But WOW, I really didn’t have any idea after seeing this vid.
    Thanks for explaining not just your process, but the reasons behind many of your decisions. You are truly a First Class Act and a magnificent “Ambassador” to not just MTB but to MTB (and its peripherals) videography in general. I ALWAYS look forward to your next vid. Well Done again!!
    Please continue to be inspiring Sir!
    Peace

  • @Chasing-Daydream
    @Chasing-Daydream Před 2 lety +2

    Always do these setup videos please. It may be true that they may not interest "everyone". But that is because your audience consists of far more than just people wanting to know how to ride or that simply enjoy living vicariously through your adventures. It also consists of a handful of us who are building our own adventures, and are seeking out the trailblazers that we relate with most to learn from. These gopros are agonizing to learn how to work with all the technology. So your take, on your setup, and your reasoning behind those choices, is important. We appreciate this shared information, presented like it came from an old friend.

    Thanks for doing this video, it answered a lot of questions I had and I really appreciate your practical perspective. Perfect timing for me since I just bought a Hero7 Black this morning after a couple years off since dropping my Hero4 in the lake. I got it for a steal. I didn't get the 8, 9, or 10 because the 7 does what I need it to do and provides the best value in my opinion, and that's coming from a guy that loves his tech and used to get the latest and greatest... Tech has gotten to a point where I feel you can wait a couple generations to see a real advantage to upgrading. There was a period of time where your Wyn Masters Whistler video would autoplay next pretty often and I wasn't mad about it, so I've probably watched it over 10 times. And I do mean watched it, like attentively memorizing the trails. I'm going to be riding Whistler for my first time in July as part of my bachelor party trip. You should come for opening week, but not opening weekend because the lift lines... Anyway, keep up the good work Phil, your my favorite... I bet you'd smoke all the other mtb content creators in a DH race. Snowing yet there? Back on the boards soon? Cheers
