GoPro mounted on the helmet gives a much better perspective when you ride steep trails: the steepness looks steeper than if you mounted it on your chest. For jumps or flow trails, the chestmount is the best solution.
being an advanced gopro user as well, i have to commend you for this nice video especially about exposure in regards of the woods for mtb. well done !
thx mate!
Nice video and straight-to-the-point content. Well done!
Great tips for beginners like me! :D Thank you for your detailed explanation!
Hi Verna. Thx much for sharing your expertise. As usual you detailed pretty well the things to keep in mind in such scenario.😉Your beside comments will be helpful for most of us for sure.🙃😉
Great video! Thanks for explanation, not just spec setup 🙏
That was great and very informative, thank you!
Great video, keep it up!
I love Go Pro🤗❤
Holy! Amazing video, thanks!
This video really helped me
Well done.
Best video ever ! 🔥
Thank you sir ✅ good one
Thank you.
Thanks, great advice.....
My dumb ass wasn’t mounting the GoPro upside down on the chesty, just found out that that was possible, game changer😂
This entire video was worth it to find out that shooting in 4k results in less noise in forest cover than shooting in 5k. My 5k shots through shady forest trails were so so noisy. I'll be experimenting with switching to 4k to compare.
Any results?
@@Dowper indeed! I moved to 4k@30fps in order to maintain battery life for the 30-45 minutes I needed to descend my trails. At the same ISO/EV the graininess was less! I did some comparisons of different frame rates and resolutions here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AThZmiVz76VlsLUa-vQ1DOdxe2kDSj9hYAzqTjFk-Xg/edit?pli=1#gid=0. Then I set minimum ISO to 100 and maximum to 800, with a white balance of 5500k for sunny days. I do color correction afterwards in Davinci Resolve and it turns out pretty good so far.
If I’m filming for 4k output on say CZcams, should I shoot 5.3k or native 4k?
What’s the long one called
Have you tried the mouth mount?
Do people no longer use gyro stabilized mounts? I have a couple of Hero7 Blacks that I intend to use until they are destroyed and with that revision, the image stabilization really got pretty good, but I still think it is a little deficient for mountain biking. Could be I just need to have a better look at the rest of my settings. But I recently was wondering if a gyro of some sort would be appropriate but I don't see too many people talking about them. Maybe with the latest GoPros it's just not worth it anymore?
My go pro does not give the option for changing the LENS mode to SPV when selecting 5.3 8:7 aspect ratio. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
8:7 you can just shoot in wide, you do not need to decide between wide, SV and HV … you can choose it in post when choosing frame 16:9 in your GoPro quick app and select wide, SV and HV… in case of SV you can even move the frame a little bit up and down… In my opinion 4K 8:7 is the best option since you have the most flexibility and could even select 9:16 … 8:7 uses the full sensor vertically… I shoot only in 4k 60 8:7 wide or 4K 30 8:7 in case of low light…
at 11:33, what mount is that? can you please put a link
This is the bike handlebar mount sold by Insta360 - you find it in the bike bundle:
store.insta360.com/accessory?insrc=INRNHMF
Is this still relevant for GP 12 without lens mod
Yes, of course
Hi Verna, maybe i'm an idiot, but in your video, at 1:05, i don't find the + button to create a new preset. I have gopro 11 black for one month only...Sorry ;-)
In the upper right corner - first press on the presets icon - then the plus appears
Habla como si saliera de un monasterio XD
Just buy go pro 11
is it just me or is he talking sexy to everyone?
