As psychologically frail as Asajj Ventress was... She was powerful and had great potential. Before going to Dooku, she had conquered and united the entire planet of Rattatak. She also managed to reanimate a group of dead Gungans as zombies, implying a potential for Sith sorcery. I do believe Sidious was afraid of Asajj Ventress and whoever she was allied with, Dooku and later Mother Talzin.
All she needed to shine was a good haircut
@@Nerthos shine more than a bald "hair"cut
@@slools5003 imagine ventress with proper girl's hair
@@Nerthos she did right before she died
@@ADN64 it was kinda weird but still better than bald
I don’t think he feared Ventress or her affiliation with the Nightsisters. I’m pretty sure Sidious was just putting a check on Dooku to make sure he didn’t try to do that thing all Sith Lords do (at least for a while longer) when he ordered her to be eliminated. Palpatine was basically saying, “Yes, I see what you’re doing. Knock it off.”
Ventress is definitely a character, well worth her own series. She is severely underrated!
She's a horrible character
@@alwaysbored6030 naah,she's just misunderstood
@@alwaysbored6030 explain how, exactly?
@@alwaysbored6030 liza minelli, lies
So say we all she is awesome 👽👻
One problem, Ventress and Talzin weren't close until after Dooku discards Ventress. Ventress wasn't a gift from Talzin to Dooku either. She was trained as a jedi. When her master was killed, she fell to the dark side.
Off topic I personally wonder if nightsister merrin from the fallen order series is darth maul's sister/mother talzin's daughter
@@TheSidewindingCobraThis would be insane.....
hope Ventress comes back in some form in a Disney series. she was one of the best characters from Clone Wars.
Won't happen. Ventress passed away in the canon novel "Dark Disciple", which was based on unproduced Clone Wars episode scripts.
@@pangaeawriter8766 they seem open to changing stories from books and comics
What if she had children and we get a series about their upbringing during the late clone wars and part of the galactic empire it be a good way and excuse for us to see the criminal underworld evolution as well.
@@sircrimsonwolf7492 great idea. ill even take some prequel type of stories. when she was in hiding
@@pangaeawriter8766 I won't be surprised if they Retcon these events just like they did in the Ahsoka book.
Ventress was on the power scale level of the majority of jedi council members and most of her fight scenes in the Clone Wars was right in the middle of her going through shit so idk if we ever got to see her with the Force truly on her side. Need her in live action she is clearly a better character than any Inquisitor
See, THIS is what the Acolyte series SHOULD be about! To me Ventress was the perfect Dark side Acolyte. Plus, it'll be great to see her in live action. She's Extremely underrated! Then we could get a chance to see even MORE of our favorites in live action as well! DOOKU, GRIEVOUS, possibly even Savage🤔. Could even see her battle Jedi in live action as well. But of course, Disney wouldn't do it because it would make too much SENSE lol. Just a thought though
I can assure you this new Acolyte series will not be good, while I agree that it COULD and should be awesome it definitely won't be when considering who has control of it and who is writing it.
I always wonder why Palpatine was fooled into thinking Dooku was successful in killing Ventress. Since he apparently felt her growing strong in the force, did he also not sense her continued presence in the force because for her survival from Dooku's attempt to kill her?
I never really assumed Palpatine could sense anything going on in the outskirts though, he always had Dooku checking those slaver planets and others owned by the underworld. When Dooku tried to kill her she fled to Dathomir and even if he could sense all the way to Dathomir, the whole planet is dark side almost and probably helped her blend in. Same thing with Yoda he couldnt sense Yoda on Dagobah and couldnt sense Luke or Obi Wan on Tattooine. Didnt see Ashoka surviving or Leia being a Skywalker. But honestly he is probably busy as hell even though we never see it
@@lotuslife3239 True. While Vader was hunting fugitive Jedi and rebel groups Palpatine was busy administering the Empire and countering potential threats inside and outside the government as well.
I’ve always wondered about Palpatine’s sensing abilities. Such as, why was he not able to sense that his granddaughter was on Jakku? Especially knowing that the assassin he sent to retrieve her never returned to him…
It wasn't so much fear of her but the possibility of what she could represent is what he feared two powerful sith deciding to team up and ruin all the masterful chess moves he had made up to that point, he could never risk that ever.
Yea I completely doubt the most powerful Sith Lord to ever live feared Dooku’s assassin lol.

Sidious was the Sith Master. Dooku was the Sith Apprentice.
Talzin Maul Opress and Ventress were threats to the Sith order.
Talzin Maul Opress and Ventress had a network of degrees of loyalty to each other given their status as Nightbrothers and Nightsisters and links through Talzin.
In reality no one of them was a threat to Sidious(despite Talzin's odd Dark Side sorcery) but a combination was worrysome.
If Dooku trusted Ventress and she brought in Talzin and somehow the three of them agreed on a path Sidious could have something to worry about.
It was a power play on Sidious' part. He wanted her dead but also wanted Dooku to know, "I could kill her but I alone am the master and I command you to do it because you are below me and never think you can betray me." He killed two birds with one stone; get rid of a threat and make sure Dooku never becomes one.
From what I've seen Asajj Ventress was a wicked deadly fighter and should be feared, but not by Palpatine. Did Palpatine really have any fears? If he took NOTICE of you that is prolly as close to fear as it gets with him. If there was anyone he "noticed" almost constantly, it was Vader. (I am of firm belief that had he had more time, Vader would have found a way...Vader always found a way) I think maybe Palpatine saw Ventress as a "sign of the time". Almost a measurement of how his real foes power was. Palpatine wasn't one who would succumb to paranoia otherwise he could never have pulled off "the long game" strategy that he played. Asajj Ventress and Asoka Tano are my two fave jedi/sith that came from that era. \m/
After following this channel for some time, I came to the realization that Palps was afraid of pretty much everyone lol.
Very paranoid guy lol
She was one of the few, who could wield Darkside Magicka, like Maul, and himself, also she was able to survive multiple assassination attempts....
Also, Someone took her as a child, and it was most likely Darth Plagueis
She was trained as a Jedi.
lets face it, Asajj Ventress is a top tiered Sith Assassin that Sidious can't control. If he can't control that person or asset, he will remove.
I loved ventress as a character she was amazing
Sidius is afraid of everyone I guess.
A great what if would be Maul vs. Ventress!! Mother Talzin played them both!! I agree though Ventress deserves her own arc...we should demand Dark Disciple as part of Tales of a Jedi!!
honestly this sort of happened when she and obi wan fought savage and maul on the ship, i think for a brief moment she fought maul
Asajj Ventress -My Favorite Star Wars character.
Great cover. Thanks I love this channel
Thank you so much for making this video!!!! I love your chanel and would love to see more of Asajj on it!!!!
2:32 oh that classic comfortable pose we all take every other day
Great perspectives
Palpatine was indeed afraid of her true potential combined with Dooku coming after him.Plus her tides to dark magic and the Talzin connection.
I mean I could see Palpatine fearing a powerful woman, he did have his reservations about the Witches of Dathomir, Mother Talzin, he saw Padme as an obstacle.
Assaj was simply outside palpatines control. With dooku on the chopping block soon he had no efficient way to remove her from his game. Using dooku to do this was smarter than simply leaving a spy alive to become a double agent.
It's more of he could rub her out rather than he had to. Better being safe than sorry.
Mind blown!!!
Palpatine was afraid of everyone at this point
Any theory that suggests Asajj was stronger than we thought is aces in my book.
Ventress has always been an underrated SW Character to me .. she honestly became (Ahsoka is up there too) one of my favorites
So Awesome 🖤🗡️
If Maul and Ventress both are mother Talzin's children, wouldn't it make them kinda siblings?
Because she’s part of the Night Sisters clan aligned with Mother Talzin.
I hope we get to see more of ventress and her jedi master in tales of the jedi
A night sister with sith force skills and magic? Dude even I thought count Dooku could have fell to the 2 assassins who were invisible.
Will Ventras be in tales of the Jedi?
What's the name of the song that plays at the end of the video?
I always thought y was Palpatine so insistent ventless die, he has no reason to fear her
I doubt that Palpatine truly feared anyone or anything, but he was well aware of people who might conspire against him.
Man that’s a good point a lot of people forget about that in the clone wars that she broke through barriers and she would hold her own although when she teamed up with Kenobi against mall and Sauvage. But good points does anyone know her midi-chlorian count off the top of their head?
I feel like if she was pushed to her full potential she would have been close if not more deadly then grevious
She did fight Obi-wan and Anakin on quite a few occasions
@@z-man1237 yuh ik I'm saying if she was trained better an was mentally strong she could take both of them
Jeez.. who wasn’t Palpatine afraid of
At this point they should just call him Palpatine, the Cowardly Dog (Sith Lord)
Whoever designed her in The Clone Wars series is a person of culture. (Insert Yoda laugh here)
Dooku was def smashing
Nice
let's be real ... Palpatine wasn't scared of anyone.
With Duku left alone it would create nothing but hate in him. ASSUMING that Duku still was able to ear, then one day I’m sure that he would be able to get away and have his revenge. He would have become a serious threat.
Qll
O
Bro at the rate of your videos about the only blah blah blah that sidious feared, homeboi feared everything in the galaxy lol JESUS
Idk but he'd probably pretend that being afraid of her was his plan all along because that's the only thing that Sidious does lol.
i always wanted why the emperor didn't take ventress as his apprentice in the first place
What if Mother Talzin survived or was otherwise brought back before Order-66?
Ventress, Opress and Maul with Mother Talzin behind them. But we knew that would be too serious a threat since we know Sideous's fate. That is what happens when you know what will happen....
With the ways these videos are titled, it feels like you can just summarize the series as:
"Palpatine was AFRAID of *EVERYONE* "
It woulda been nice to see mother talzon savage maul and ventress vs dooku grevious and sidious
I think he just didn't want dooku to overthrow him. but what you said makes me wonder. Maul and Savage (and Feral) were brothers. Even though it hasn't been established, could Ventress be their sister?
Seems like dathomir produces powerful dark siders with maul and ventress shame they never met
Ya the count thought there was going to be a sith order, he should have seen the writing on the wall when he was forced to kill ventress
Isn’t her using 2 sabers and being trained by Dooku contradictory to him using 1 and not thinking highly of using 2?
Because she had double lightsabers. you know the only things that truly made him dead lmfaooooooooo
The SWU needs more Asajj Ventress content and I'm not satisfied with her character ark in the comics.
Crazy how I'm watching this episode yesterday and today , how dooko was ordered to eliminate her
Again if ventress ever becomes live action P!nk has to play her.
Since, Enfys Nest theme was the Nightsisters theme, was Enfys the daughter of Ventress and Quinlan Vos?????
I still haven’t found anything on the night sisters. Would you do something about it?
ventress is featured in the books jedi trial and a book featuring kit fisto and obi wan kenobi that are no longer canon

Before the second movie came out my brother, also a SW fan, said he had hope things would be better and he'd definitely go see the 2nd movie. Dont play with the nightsisters💅
She was one of the only things in the galaxy with almost the same potential as aniken. HELL YEAH HE WAS AFFRAID AND SHE WAS WAISTED .
If he was that afraid he might as well have apprenticed her himself... or maybe he didn't cause she'd end up handicapped like all the rest of his trainees.
Because her and Dooku shared a tight bond as master an apprentice and the two Of them are powerful enough to conquer The emperor resist Lourdes
i think that he didn´t even trust dooku completly as we see in the second movie he attempted to bring obi wan to his side
and i don´t believe that he wanna share obi wan with sidious it was more of a plan to dethrone sidious entirely
and let him have an assasin who become too strong for being just some random assasin means trouble to his plan as a whole
i don´t think he see anyone of them as a real rival or problem but it could destroy his plan or he have to make some adjustments and with a plan that is so well executed and so much thought process behind everything that could be a little treat is not worthy to risk for such a minor gain
the threat that they come together and fight him was relative low cause every interaction between maul dooku and sidious u could clearly see that they fear the shit out of him and after all we still dont realy see how powerfull sidious was at this point but u can see that he force choke dooku above a insane far distance he toyed with maul and savage just for fun
do you think dooku believed in the rule of 2? i dont think he did. otherwise why would he willingly go with sidious plans to convert anakin who he very clearly wanted to replace dooku
She neeeeeds to be in a showwwww. She’s so good. She needs live action treatment.
And no idc if she died in a book literally no one has read.
Basically, the Sith are just a bunch of chumps who can't stand even a remote challenge...
Hi
The death of Ventress hasn't been explored in media besides books so they could make either a movie or show of how she perished. Who would play her character is the question.
Angelina Jolie has the bone structure lmao
Bru. Asajj Venteess, Dooku, Maul, Savage, vs Sidious. ?
Honestly, Darth Maul's criminal empire can exist independently from the Darth Sidious' Republic in the same way that Hutt Space exists outside of the Galactic Empire.
I think some miss the point. Ventress at the time Dooku was forced to get rid of her was not yet powerful enough to face the likes of Sidious. We know she still had a ways to go when Dooku wrecked her in 15 seconds after the three-way fight with Oppress. But, she also was capable of taking on Obi-Wan, Anakin, or both, on near even terms on a number of occasions. That puts her in the ballpark of a Jedi Council Member. No doubt, with more training and time, she would have reached Maul level, or more. Dooku knew she had immense potential and never would have wasted his time with someone that didn't have the ability to grow into an apprentice powerful enough to credibly aid him in killing Sidious. It is part of the reason he was reacted so strongly to Sidious' order to kill her and was moved to near tears. He had a personal connection with her at some level, but also had a lot of time and effort invested in her.
1:36 what on tatooine is the point of curbing lightsabers like that really?
All though there is only the rule of two can could two sith groups of two exist
Why Ventress didn’t have sith eyes?
I always wanted her to be redeemed.
Ventress? Really? Well… she is a powerful night sister. But she can also be good when she wants to be. It is a good thing for her.
TO ME YOU KNOW HOW POWERFUL SHE BE IF SHE LEARNED SITH ALCHEMYSKIL TO ALREADY MATCH MAUL TOO AT THE SAME TIME LEARN ALL LIGTHSABER 1-6 JUGGERNAUTS
Actually ventres only seeks out mother Townsend after she's betrayed. Otherwise she was a Jedi apprentice that saw her master's killed. Night sister had zero to do with any of it. An count dooku was forced to turn on her because of her failures and to prove his loyalty to palpatine you're welcome
It does not make no sense the general grievous square-foot any Jedi even a week one or one right past the youngling also have to do is Crushim with the force
I believe Maul would've over throw sidious.
in the clone wars she definitely wouldn't have lasted long against palpatine if she barely could match dooku.
Should’ve conspired and screwed him over the four duku maul savage and ventress could’ve taken palpatine down .
She should have been in the films, always liked her better than Darth maul or general grievous.
Grievous yes maul hell no
Not only did ventress fight anakin and obiwan at the same time and forced choked them when having her back against the wall

NNNNNNOOOOOOO
This is pretty simple. You're literally just restating what's pretty blatant in the Clone Wars. Dooku flat out says to Savage that they can become powerful enough to overthrow Sidious. Surely he had the same talk with Ventress. That's the way of the Sith; Apprentice eventually kills (or tries to kill) their master. Sidious knew this and he wasn't going to let anyone get powerful enough to challenge him. There was not only no point to this video, but it's mistitled. You make a statement that Palps was afraid of ventress and then gives a reason he was and more that he wasn't. Enough with the clickbait titles from you people, FFS.
