Karakuri puzzles have probably got to be my favourite puzzles ever. I love the stories that can accompany them, the craftsmanship, and the artistic beauty & playfulness of their puzzles. So beautiful.

Heh. Ordinarily I'd agree with you but I just looked these things up. That car he showed us? 740 individual parts and takes 13 hours to build according to their website. They are INSANE! From what I've seen on here, Chris solves most puzzles in about 2 hours. :P

The first artwork you showed is amazing...definitely the best.
This puzzle is a play on how railways work. The train passes from the left to the right, and then the railway is safe to walk across. Japan has a few railways like this.

I’ve been doing the u gears models for a while now, my favorite one that is absolutely beautiful is the royal clock. I did that one for my best friends wedding as a gift. If you stain them with wood stain they are beautiful decorative pieces very fragile.

In Japan (and many other places), we are bar hindering from crossing the track should be down when train approaches. I’m not sure if this work but first thing I would try is to force the bar down when the train move to the crossroad.

I would like to recommend Rokr as well. I haven't tried Ugears myself yet but what I can gather from the pictures the quality of Rokr is better than with Ugears

Ugears has a good card holding device, great for games that use a lot of different cards. I use mine for Kingdom Death Monster.

What I think would be cool is the one piece of artwork that showed you as the king if you would use that as one of the kings in your next deck you come out with. Hell, use all the art work other people have drawn as the face cards. Just sounds like a cool idea.

Love your videos and the puzzles you feature, have bought a few affordable ones. I wonder do you or anyone else know any good online puzzle sites for virtual or browser based puzzles based on any of these or similar ? Obvious that a lot of these are tactile but for example the 6 bottles puzzle could easily be recreated as an online puzzle. Just wondered if anyone knows of any sites like that
