Good" and "Evil" are words used to describe movement or points on a reference standard or scale conceptualised by man that is based upon our shared goal with regards wellbeing and the values it incorporates like empathy altruism reciprocity equality, respect ect
Whether an action is "Good" is entirely relative to the desired objective / goal one is trying to achieve, the specific situation our levels of information and understanding and the range of posible alternative actions and outcomes available. Whilst "God" is also a man made concept, the percieved whims of your "God" do not reflect these shared values and thus are irrelevant in any discussion of morality.

Ok I usually agree with Charlie, but not here. You don't need religion for morality. And the student was (partially) right - there is no objective morality. We made it up to make our lives better. We don't hunt and eat each other for lunch, because we as a society decided that cannibalism is wrong. We don't rape and kill each other because we decided that those things are wrong. Morality is a social construct and it can change over time. Religion surely contributed to establishing this construct, but it's not necessary for its existence

Ok let me break it down in very simple format, since your brain seems overloaded with nonsense. Objective Good is not collective good, objective good simply means that there are true goods that are not influenced by personal feelings or opinions. It is not influenced by any person it is "set", it does not matter how many people say otherwise it is still good. Meaning if you practice these goods the outcome will be good if you go against these goods the outcome will be bad. A basic example thou shalt not kill which just so you don't get confused means murder. If a society adopts this principle then it can have a functioning society, if a society says no anyone can kill anyone then the society would collapse into chaos thus murder is bad. You get it, it does not matter if all 100 million people in a country say murder is good and proceeds to do it, the outcome will always be bad. So you can either hunt the animal for food or starve to death, climb the tree or starve to death obviously common sense would tell you that the risk of getting hurt is a ridiculous reason not to go eat something, I mean you can literally choke on food.
