Scotland only lost the 6N by less than a try’s worth of points 😢
The problem with videos like this? It ignores the fact Scotland also missed chances. BTW Scotland won despite one of the worst yellow cards (on Hogg) I've ever seen. Not one but 2 blatant forward passes Barnes ignored in build up to that carding. That YC is why Penaud scored France's 2nd try.
And the VDW first try is a double move... talking about ref decisions is really pointless, both sides always feel aggrieved
Well Hogg's yellow card is justified as the ref warned the scottish team about the numerous penalties, it's similar to Serin's yellow card later
It seems Scot fans can't savour a rare victory vs France. Jog on, enjoy the victory and stop telling bullshits.
Hogg yellow card was given after Scotland was warned by Barnes with 5 successive faults, Hogg was the fifth.
And if you had a milligram of honesty, you would agree Vdw first try was a double-movement.
@@zisssssou not sure it was a double movement, not sure it was a try either. But the ref was there on the spot. Hogg deserved his yellow, but to red card Finn was ridiculous and only France's overall ineptitude kept us in the game.
More important for us Taffs,how did Wales lose to France in the last minute and blow the Slam? Too many subs when they were not needed but only made because the coaches thought the game was safe and wanted to involve the whole squad in the victory. That will teach them a lesson!!! Great win Scotland, massive favour much appreciated by us though the Championship is not quite the same as a Slam!!! But far more then was expected a few months back !!!
You coule apply that conclusion to anything in life. Unfortunately it's never that simple. All they did here is blow the opportunity to score a try. The course of the game would've changed as a consequence and they may still have lost. Therefore, all we can deduct from the encounter is that France lost.
Why so much how the French lost? Wake up! Scotland won well

Disagree with the first example, the problem wasn't the numbers 10's depth it was his running line. If the 10 straighten his running it would've held up the Scottish defense drawing them in leaving space on the outside.
Becoz 10 didn't straighten up the defense kept sliding closing the space on the outside stopping the attack. So basically the 10 ran his outsides out of space.
If some players - on both sides - had done something different, the result would have been different. Story of every sporting event. Nice piece of analysis, but there's an assumption that things would have worked perfectly for France if their plans, as outlined here, had been followed. That's not a safe assumption to make.
France clearly forced their actions in this match when Scotland was much more patient. Reason is simple, France had everything to win and Scotland nothing to lose. The mental approach always influences your game.
But France didn't lose the 6N vs Scotland, they lost it because of this covid-19 imbroglio which make them lost their first 2 games momentum.
Maybe so but also remember England wouldn't release any of Scotland First team players to place in the France game.Some of the players picked It was there first cap. I hope Scotland Get France in the World cup Group.

@@allangrant6349 The World Cup draw was made ages ago. Scotland got South Africa and Ireland.
France lost the six nations because of the two red cards for wales. They started believing in their own fame after that and then destroyed England, leading to France chasing points to close the gap. Too bad they didnt succeed, maybe next year. Now I'm really looking forward to see if Wales is really that good or if was just a momentum.
