    Can I ask you what your experience with bugs/spiders was like? I fear that this will affect my healing process as I don't do well with bugs. I'd be grateful to hear your thoughts, thank you!

    Great video mate !! It’s awesome that you were able to experience this ceremony 🙏 .. I am planning my trip to Arkana Iquitos in January 2023. Just wanted to know how are the safety protocols there ? If someone is not feeling good or need medical attention how does the location manage those situations ? Again thank you for a great video !!

      From what I saw they were pretty good, there are multiple facilitators and if you're not feeling well they'll try and treat on site, and if not boat to the nearest doctor/hospital. Bear in mind it's a 2h boat ride from Iquitos. Hope your journey goes well.

    Thanks for this Oli, I enjoyed the walkthrough a lot. I have a question about the 7-day retreat though: Do you get a chance to explore anything of the city and your surroundings or do you stay at the center the whole week?

      The center is in the heart of the Amazon jungle with only a village a short walk away. It's accessed only by boat on arrival and departure. You're free to stay in Iquitos longer before/after your experience but once you arrive you don't leave until your checkout date.

    I am looking to head down there, is this place better than costa rica?

    • @OliGriffiths84
      @OliGriffiths84  Před 7 měsíci

      I’ve not done any spiritual stuff in Costa Rica but Ayahuasca originated in the Amazon rainforest and these shamans have been performing ceremonies for all their lives, along with their parents, and children, it’s their life. Plus being in the Amazon rainforest is something else entirely.

    I'm planning my trip now, getting shots for the travel and trying to figure out how to book this trip, do I make the reservation and they pick us up at the airport or ride in one of those fun carts, looks totally fun. So I'm on the first leg of this journey.

      Do they pick you up at the airport.

      @@sonyvalencia No, you make your way to a hotel in Iquitos where they do checkin. Airport transfer was easy.

    Greetings oli! I will be attending arkana peru next week for a 2 week retreat! I was wondering if I could ask you a question? Once you are at arkana are there any options for buying souvenirs? If so do they accept U.S dollars? I'm trying to figure out how much $ I should plan on converting I to Peruvian Solis? Any advice you have would be priceless! Blessings!

    • @OliGriffiths84
      @OliGriffiths84  Před rokem +1

      Yes the village next door sells items they make. Average cost was around $10 for a bracelet or dream catcher or similar.
