Coming from someone who has had a couple residential zero turns and now a commercial one, I would recommend buying a lightly used zero turn with low hours for a good deal vs any of those.

100% buying riding mowers used is definitely the way to go. couple year old lightly used tractor or zero turn can be had for a third of the price of a new one. and they'll easily last another 10 years.

I bought a cub cadet 4 years ago for 250 , had to do a little work on it but it’s a good mower, I put a bigger motor on it this winter, the old motor was still good, I put it on my brother mower

@@TractorBobs I would of added checking local small engine shops for used trade in riders. I got a 18 hp kawasaki husky tractor 46 inch 12 gauge stamped deck for $1000 with 220 running hours on it. its basically new still. since they're a husky dealer too if I have any issues they're so close to me I can pay $20 and they'll bring a truck and trailer and haul it to and from the shop for maintenance. now thats a deal.

Also... If shopping on Facebook marketplace, always look carefully at the seller profile. I see a lot of mowers that are posted in dozens, if not hundreds, of different markets. Why would anybody in Ohio be trying to sell their mower in Arizona?!

@@sociopathmercenary for sure. personally if you wanna get a used rider and not take alot of risks. I'd recommend checking your local small engine shop dealers they usually are always getting in trade ins from customers that have had their seasonal maintenance then put up for sale. thats exactly how I got my rider for a great deal and have had very little issues with it.
