I wanna give a big thanks to Athens Lawn And Garden for setting Brax Up with a awesome mower give them a call at 4237459296 they are great people to work with!!
Hell yeah Braxy Boy !!!!!! That's what I'm talking about !!!!! Get u some cash boy !!!!
Brax needs a side by side with a hitch to pull that trailer just put a farm triangle on it and roll out! You know in Tennessee They let you drive them things on the road Timmy lol 😂 awesome job y’all keep plugging!
Tim, PLEASE instill in Brax and anybody for that matter to keep grass clippings out of the road way. PLEASE. I dont even ride but I have friends that do and you never know what can happen, its a very hard thing to shake when you feel responsible for a death. It can drive you to a grave whether your legally responsible or not. He needs a good back pack blower.
I got to same ferris love it
Braxinator t shirts coming soon! lol.
I have never seen a 10 year old be so cautious and responsible. Well DONE MOM DAD & SON
😂😂😂😂
@@George-dy3pt grow up
I was going to say this gives me a glimmer of hope for parents. Cutting grass seems basic but it can be dangerous if not careful. It's great to see responsibility bestowed upon this young man
with the food options not so much 🤣🤣🤣
I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. czcams.com/users/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.
What every kid in this world needs a father like this man. Parenting done right. This kid is going places.
No, this is what’s wrong, these kids are given everything. I had a 12yo buy a used stand on mower with cash he saved from mowing yards, and even paid his moms gas to come pick it up.
Kids MUST work for their stuff not have it handed to them.
If the things being handed to them are work tools and the only way to use them is to work then it makes me feel like this narrative about poor people having to toil to work their way up is just propaganda so there's less competition for the kids whose families don't buy that bootstraps bullshit.
Please make sure brax protects his ears as someone with severe hearing loss now at 60 being around loud equipment great job love the content
You are exactly right about the hearing! When you're young you don't think about it but the young man needs to be able to hear his customers speak to him!
@@joeblow26 😂😂😂
A 10yr old kid with a fuel-injected 40hp,24mph zero turn mower. Times have changed a bit since I mowed with a 2hp push behind.
Yeah times have changed for sure. Mowed 2 acres with a push mower took about all day back in the 80’s and going over the septic tank lines would make you loose your religion !!!
Are things better now though?
They don't do 24 miles an hour
@George Why are they all overweight? Obese actually. Sitting all day for that kid is not going to extend his life or it's quality. Don't mean to be mean, just honest. The diet in that region (like most of America) is atrocious. GoD help 'em. Wonderful the kid has initiative.

Shoutout to that dealership owner. Explaining everything and talking directly to Braxton instead of explaining it to dad. I remember going to dealerships around 16 with my dad to buy my own car with my own money. Even though my dad told them I was the one buying the car and its my money, they still explained everything to my dad instead of communicating directly to me. Great to see the confidence and freedom given to that young man.
As a father, I'm proud to see this kid out there hustling!! Brax now needs his own line of shirts for his business.
And a youtube channel lol
And a rate cutter like his father
If he does get shirts I wanna be the first to be able to order some!
I really like how he went over the safety features with brax. That man deserves all the respect.
Yes!
But when your test driving and learning how to work it, the roll bar was down and no seatbelt, who needs safety?
You have a great son, knowing he has a great father to be able to do this for his child. God bless you guys all❤
This is awesome. Great job dad raising a contributing young man to this great country. Love seeing this. Stay motivated young man, the possibilities are endless if you put your mind to something and refuse to quit
I contributed, I worked hard, I was motivated and I never quit and guess what? I still can't get a loan anywhere for anything nice. In fact, I can barely afford even a new pair of shoes. Land of opportunity? I don't think so. They took that away with taxes, bills and greed. Anyone who thinks otherwise is playing a fool's game.
Delusional
Just remind him to clean any mowed grass off of roads, cut gras can be as slick as ice for motorcycles.
Now that’s IMPRESSIVE! Not talking about the mower, though it’s pretty awesome. I mean the kid. I think anyone would be proud to have a son with that kind of work ethic. Congratulations on raising a son that, at 10 years old, has more morality than most 25 year olds.
I can't 😅you actually believe this
@@George-dy3pt I’m not sure that I do.
Look's like a great dealership and a great dad. Wow, he backed that tractor up like a champ!
I really like how the salesman actually talked to the son as the man doing the deal and not ignoring him like a kid.
Well done young man. And nice to see a dad supporting his son to start a little business to greatness. Well done
This is what boys should be doing! Good job young man, you listen to your Dad and get to do cool stuff because of it!
What an amazing young man and an awesome dad you are. Can't wait to see more of yalls growth as a family!
My dad, rest his soul. Well he was a "don't touch a thing while we are here" kinda dad. I always appreciate a father like Tim Gentry that encourages his child to try something out. This young man will be ahead of the game in life on the count of it. Trust me, I turned into someone who drives, flies, operates everything I can think of trying to catch up. LOL
Just wait until you see a kid break something in a store because of touching it
Y'all should be darn proud! y'all are doing a great job teaching and leading by example! 💚
A little trick that I do if I need to make something round smaller is put it in a drill, get the drill spinning then use the grinder on it. Keeps it true and easier to keep it even.
I've been watching this channel since the beginning , it just doesn't add up.
I agree Woody, Fire doesn't add up, buying old worn-out equipment like crazy doesn't add up, living in a big nice house with acreage and wanting to move back into a mobile home, nope doesn't make sense dumb 😢sense
The cake is a lie
Ya and Braxton has been 10 years old for the last three years do they get to 10 and stop celebrating birthdays? Or is it all a lie?
Daddy buys is perpetually 10 year old son yet another toy. Fixed the title.
Just had that fire, which we still have never been given a cause, constant whining about going under, but hey, spend 20k on a mower. Next video he’ll be crying about how tough it is and they just don’t have the money. 20k woulda gone a long ways to fixing all the broken crap on his trucks.
He’s been ten for how many years now? How about teaching him safety…like using seat belts and the ROPS? How about not blowing grass into the road? Maybe slowing down so it cuts better.
Nah…all about clickbait and views. Ignoring his other kids and when the hell doss this “10 year old” go to school?
Beyond that, he puts all this crap on CZcams. I’m surprised Tennessee dept of labor hasn’t shown up. Or osha watching a minor run a crane for the business with no operator license and I’m guessing no current inspection on the crane.
@@teddbear7075 do you understand in a couple months a worn out piece of crap truck can make double whats its worth. i know from experience. my company pays a vac crew company around 300k every month for 1 crew of 4 guys and a truck to work maybe 3 days out of the week for 8 hour days and they might burn 150 gallons of fuel in a week at 3.80 a gallon. if you get the right contracts then you can make your money back really quick. also take a second and think about it. if we pay them that much and a new truck cost about 400k then every year they could buy 6 to 7 trucks. realize how much these trucks are actually making because right now they are paying premiums for trucks to haul because there is a huge shortage. we used to get 1000 semis per day of corn. now we are lucky to get 600 because no one wants to drive anymore.
you are a great Dad,giving your boy a go at driving and learning
Gonna save this and show it to the husband. Ferris is the Rolls Royce of mowers. Congratulations to your son.
Congratulations on the nice new mower Brax! I'd recommend getting a few more sets of blades for it so that way you have an extra set for when a set gets dull. Keep up the great work buddy and God bless you all!
Be a man and sharpen then
Brax you always have to remember when you're running full throttle and go to stop for something to ALWAYS bring the motor to a idle and let it wind down before shutting off. I've seen way to many guys buddy who run full throttle and go to stop and shut it down. The motor can and will run backwards and then you get into serious engine issues. Your a good kid glad to see ya busting butt need more kids like you Braxton, stay safe👌🇺🇸🤘🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
Congrats on the new mower Braxton! It's pretty cool with suspension. The safety tips were good, stay safe!
Lol.!!!! I LOVE IT.!!!!!! He said put it in the Lathe.. Then pulled out the redneck lathe.. Love it.. First time watcher. I had a good morning watching this before bed.. Love to see a family so close together and working like it should be in life. God bless and much love.
Way to go Braxton 👍. You are a go getter for a 10 year old, give your dad a pat on the back and your mom a hug and say thank you for raising such a mature young kid. You are very blessed and lucky to have such good parents. As always stay safe in life and adventure.
bought my snapper xt360 there in 2016 had to send it back for warranty work which took about 2 weeks to complete during the height of the mowing season ... these guys loaned me a simplicity for 2 weeks while mine was in the shop. super nice guys so cool to see a channel like this shopping the same place
Start'em right! what a great experience for both of you. My current Ferris is 20 yrs old, and my previous one was 27 when it died... they are long-lived mowers if you take good care of them. Mow on Young man!
My dad would have love to visit that place and just droll (including me) while walking around the shop. I miss you dad.
This is great man. Really enjoy seeing such a responsible kid. You raised him well.
Congratulations Brax. That's a nice mower!
Congratulations Braxton ! Best of luck with your new business venture! You'll do great !
Yea because he ain't even old enough to get insurance for his business and he ain't old enough to own a business! You people are looney!
Listening to how they both are excited about the lawn mower is amazing. I wished I had a dad like this growing up. Thank goddness for my mom, though. She raised a good man if I do say so myself.
Then they get it home and the other guy just takes off with it....yeah umm so who's the mower for?
Wow congrats on the new job buddy 😊 That's what I did when I was at that age but I didn't have a riding mower I had a push mower.
If you are being honest i think you decided on the farris before you ever got there and you did all you could to convince your son to get the one you wanted. I don't blame you one bit. i do however think the bobcat fit your son better but hay he is young and growing and that farris will last for years. i have a 60in BadBoy that i have had for 16 years and it still mows like the day i bought it. I'm happy for your son, you seem like a great dad and looks like you have instilled a great work ethic in him. He has a bright future!

This reminds me of my grandpa when I was starting my detail business. God bless you
You said he's got him a trailer and a little mini truck to pull it around with ? How old is Brax ?? I was thinking he had a few more years to go before he could tear out and head up the road by himself. I'm sure he's perfectly capable, I just didn't think he was quite that old yet.
10 yr old. $20,000 mower …. Yeah ok. That’s good you got him started
It’s not that hard to believe. Can he not just have 20k saved up? I put 200 in my daughters account every week and she’s 5.

Absolutely love the family time well spent. Simply blessed😊
Love it, I did this with my now 19 year old, I added her ad a user on my Amex and Capital One Venture X to build her credit, then the day she turned 18 she was able to buy a New Truck and this shocked the dealership that she didn't need a Cosigner and I told them she won't cause she has 2 years established credit history. She is 19 now and I helped start her LLC and bought all her equipment to run it and now it's been a year and she has paid all the equipment and trailer off leaving just her truck...She has always said she wants to be like her dad and I've run a Preservation Company since 2001 and cover NC, GA, SC and TN ...I got her doing the same and she is making a year in covering a 150 mile radius just her and her Boyfriend about 250k the first year....So proud of her and it's great seeing what your doing for your son! My daughter has BadBoy 54 Revolt and the 34 Badboy Revolt....Great pair of mowers...I just switched from Farris to Altoz Trax mowers...so far so good!😊

I just hope the parents don't let his weight get too far out of hand otherwise the little guy will have a short life!
@@veronicabenton7295 It has nothing to do with Ken and Barbie sizes and it's amazing what the young guy is doing working like he is. I posted to a different comment that hopefully his parents are letting him be a kid and run around and not just pushing him to sit on a lawn mower the entire day. At his age he needs exercise too and it's the parents responsibility to help ensure that happens. So many parents nowadays let the kids entertain themselves with just games so the result of that is an explosion in diabetes amongst our youth! I truly don't want to see that happen to this good kid or any other youngster for that matter. The way that young man is working he won't have to worry about being bullied because he will have the best of everything and other kids will probably envy him more than bully him. I realize it's a fine line of making fun of someone and truly caring about their health. If his father or mother were large people I would just chalk it up as genetics and then there isn't a lot a person can do about that.
I admire this young man. Getting a great start in life.

@Joe Blow jealousy? No! When I was his age I was cutting 10 neighbors lawns a week with a 48in walk behind, 2001 was my first Turf tiger, at that time I was cutting 75 lawns with 2 other kids with 3 48in mowers. This kid will have health issues by the time he's 16 if he just sits on his ass

This is super wholesome. You're wise as a father to invest in your children like this. Even if he decides later in life he wants to do something else, he is gaining the principles he needs for success right now.
Mowing yards is more than just riding around on a zero turn, somebody has to do the weed whacking and the trimming.

Great choice on the mower Braxton. Congrats and keep getting it.
Keep up the great work 👍 tim you're doing amazing father of the year 🎉
Who actually falls for this kid having a “lawn maintenance business”? And $300 for 10 acres….😅😅😅, he is gonna be broke before it’s time to change the oil in the mower. That’s $30/acre, I charge $30 to blow off a 10 space parking lot.
Gullible people fall for it
The math ain't that hard of it is 10 per acre then all he has to do is 5 5 acre lawns and this thing can pay for itself
@@randybearing8986 I do this for a living, along with Turf applications, $30 an acre to mow is losing money.
To calculate the time it will take to mow a 10-acre lot while traveling at 20 mph on a lawn mower, follow these steps:
1. **Convert Acres to Square Feet**:
- 1 acre = 43,560 square feet
- Therefore, 10 acres = 10 × 43,560 = 435,600 square feet
2. **Calculate Mowing Speed in Feet per Minute**:
- Since 20 mph = 20 × 5280 feet per hour (1 mile = 5280 feet)
- So, 20 mph = 105,600 feet per hour
- To find feet per minute, divide by 60 (minutes in an hour):
\[ \text{Speed in feet per minute} = \frac{105,600}{60} = 1,760 \text{ feet per minute} \]
3. **Determine Mowing Area per Minute**:
- If the mower is covering 1,760 feet per minute, it's also mowing a strip of 1,760 feet width every minute.
4. **Calculate Time to Mow the Entire Lot**:
- Divide the total mowing area (435,600 square feet) by the area mowed per minute (1,760 square feet per minute):
\[ \text{Time to mow} = \frac{435,600 \text{ square feet}}{1,760 \text{ square feet per minute}} \]
- Calculate this:
\[ \text{Time to mow} = \frac{435,600}{1,760} \approx 247.5 \text{ minutes} \]
Therefore, it will take approximately 247.5 minutes (or about 4 hours and 7.5 minutes) to mow the entire 10-acre lot at a speed of 20 mph on a lawn mower.
There exists a father son moment the kid will never forget.
If mom’s and dad’s don’t teach work ethic and giving a handshake and your word, still means something, no better time to learn.
Congratulations hard work will always pay off
With 20k I would of bought a pickup, trailer, and the equipment. Lol but that’s awesome! Wish him well!
