It was great to see them on this tour. Mickey Thomas and Grace Slick took us on a great ride that night.
Went to see Craig Chaquico at the Orange Blossom Junction outside of Visalia CA. Depending on the size of the stage needed for the band, the OBJ would seat 180 or 250 people. I got tickets front row just off center for this night. Craig Chaquico is one great guitarist and whole lot of fun. He really engaged the crowd and was easy to talk to. Everybody was having a great night and then Mickey Thomas came out of the crowd to sing Jane to end the show. It was obviously a set up prank to have Mickey setting in the crowd but God Almighty those guys burned that song all the way down to the ground and we were about 10-12 feet away from them. Holy Crap what a night.

Very nice, Momma! Love the reactors' enthusiasm and their expressions as they listen to the purity of Mickey Thomas' vocals. This song and "Stranger," which is on the follow-up album "Modern Times," are my two favorite Starship songs. Mickey and Grace Slick share the vocals on that one and the lead guitarist Craig Chaquico just plain shreds. Cheers!

Another winner, Momma! Such a great song, and you can see the look of sheer joy on some of the reactors faces! All the incarnations of this band are fantastic, starting with Jefferson Airplane, going on to Jefferson Starship, until finally becoming Starship. A brilliant band. Just brilliant.

I find editing to music makes it a little easier, don't you? If you have musicality or can keep rhythm with a song, that's everything! The music does a lot of the work for you.

Paul Rogers, Lou Graham, Paul Carrack and Mickey Thomas ….unparalleled voices of that era. There were others, really good, but not their level. Whether the Airplane or Starship….this was their best song.

I think I saw this concert? Man, some of this is fuzzy and hard to remember. Not always, but sometimes. I saw so many shows, it tends to blur a little. My concert list is stupid ridiculous and I wasn’t sober at ANY of them. That was standard practice for everyone at the time. Smoking and drinking were mandatory! 😆

A few other suggestions for you: The Eruption guitar explosion that announced Eddie Van Halen's arrival on their debut album followed directly by VH's great rendition of You Really Got Me. Hitch A Ride by Boston. Anything by Supertramp but especially School or Bloody Well Right. Anything by ELO but especially Mr. Blue Sky or Roll Over Beethoven. Anything older by Rush but especially 2112, Xanadu, Spirit of Radio, Red Barchetta, YYZ or La Villa Strangiato. Thanks. Always look forward to your new creations.

The history for this band is in the late 60s they were Jefferson Airplane with Grace Slick as lead singer. Incredible voice by the way. Then Mickey Thomas joined and became Jefferson Starship. After Grace left they renamed the band to The Starship.

One of my favorites of the late 70's!
The biggest thing I remember about this band is them being Starship in the mid 80s and having hits and my parents feeling happy they weren’t Jefferson Starship anymore as it’s not the same.
And it’s wasn’t. Classic Jefferson Starship put out killers like this a lot. Good choice!

Love this song, unfortunately not enough reactors have delved into Miracles, off of Starships album Red Octopus. In my opinion, their best. Got everything, awesome vocals, harmonies, and counter verses, a building musical crescendo, that makes you sad, because the song ends.

Another terrific Jefferson Starship song is "With Your Love" from their '76 album Spitfire. Marty Balin does a really nice job on lead vocals, beautiful lyrics too. 👍

Of the reactors you have in your compilation here the ones I miss are Brad & Lex. I think they had some sort of issue with their channel and couldn't do music reactions anymore. I can honestly say I don't follow all of these reactors. There's certain people I actually follow.
