Love these compilations! And even more the haters crying in the comments! KEEP SMASHING THESE COMPILATIONS! ❤
Thanks, mate. Nothing chaps my hide more than people judging me based on their personal views as if I'm not allowed to think differently. SEE HUMAN BE HUMAN. 💜
shame there's more waffle than music tho...
@@user-on8io2wq2b pardon me?
I didn't understand that comment, either.
@@WonderMommaOG Excuse my language here, but FUCK the haters.
There's a reason all us "old farts" are sticking with the music of our youths - its REAL music played by REAL MUSICIANS!
With real instruments and no sampling !
It is just the rapping that is old, the inside is still 17! 😉
I wish I was born earlier
I'm an old fart also, and agree 100%.
Facts, today’s music is garbage!
Now you young-uns know why us old farts think most of todays music sucks.
Led Zeppelin were competing with Dana in the charts. Most music from every era sucks.
Oh look, this comment again. Boomers love to think nothing of their generation sucked. Because we all know how great Disco Duck and Afternoon Delight were.
Led Zepplin isn't rock royalty. they are rock deity.
No doubt!
I would be woken up every morning as a kid, at 5:30 am to my dad blasting zeppelin and cooking breakfast for all. RIP Daddyo
My dad listened to Marie Callas, an Opera singer. George Gershwin, Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller... I was the odd duck. I listened to Led Zeppelin!!
@@leddygee1896 That’s great! Music is so important! I remember as a child sneaking into the attic to listen to beach boy and Beatle records, my father lived in England for his childhood so it was a lot of English punk rock, classic rock.
I was a big 50’s/60’s fan as a kid, swing music, big band. I didn’t know a lot of names but I love the music.
Led Zeppelin is eternal. They touched the souls of so many generations and will continue to do so.
And down the rabbit hole they go…
Led Zeppelin has been my No. 1 band since the release of the 1st album in 1969. First time I laid the needle in the grooves I knew it would be a lifetime love affair. Dazed and Confused is my No. 1 favorite from Zep's entire body of work. Great to see all these organic reactions compiled and watching others revel in the same discovery I did 55 years ago.
I'm 52 and have been listening for decades! Unfortunately, my friend did not get me a ticket to their last tour. 😑🤬 I introduced her to them. Needless to say she and I are no longer friends.
I'm on a roll! Led Zeppelin being my all time favorite band... this was an honor to do. I'm pretty proud of this one.
Happy Holidays, to everyone who celebrates something this time of year!
Happy happy for u, WonderMomma!!!! u r the best!!!!
Merry Christmas! 🎅 🎁 🥁 ☃️ 🔔 🦌 🌲 ❄️ 🎀 🛷
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁👏🏻
Awesome job as usual WMOG!
So I just liked&subscribed AND had the cheek to immediately make a suggestion/request (in comments below). But I don't care if you ever make another reaction compilation video, I felt moved to send you ten bucks via paypal just now for your work THUS FAR, and not anything that MAY come.. Not a lot, true, but after seeing "The making of" (very cool by itself!) I did what is a rare thing for me, and put my money where my agape mouth was! Happy Holidays to you as well!
It’s just great watching all these young people appreciating how good music was back in the day and love it that blows their brains. This band was undoubtedly the best band ever.
I've been a huge since since 1970 (8 years old)...I just love to watch the reaction of people's first time listening to Zep...
As a teen in the 1970s, I would smoke a few doobies and just sit back and listen to some Zepplin. Here it is, 2024, and I'm still doing that😊😊😊
I feel like JPJ doesn't get enough respect in this song, but it's literally the part everyone remembers about the song.
Truth. Keyboards, too. The man is an amazing musician.
Thanks man
My first concert was Zeppelin in Tampa Fl 1973. I was 13. No adult supervision.
I absolutely love it when black people love Rock and Roll music. Some are just on the grift so they not genuine reactions, but many are genuinely into it and if anything can bring whites and blacks together its Rock and Roll. Rap and hiphop couldnt do it, Rock is beautiful!! Thank you to all the reaction channels for looking after a dying genre. It's crazy because there's no need for rock and roll to end but there's not one single rock and roll song in the top 40 these days.
While I agree that rock definitely can bring people together I must disagree with you that rap music couldn't bring white and black people together if you've ever been to a rap concert you would see that there are many black and white folks enjoying the music there together
While I see what your saying. I think it's just music and people in general. It speaks to everyone in a different but similar way.
Lot of folks associate rock=white, rap=black w/o realizing black culture invented rock-n-roll (Little Richard, Chuck Berry)
I was a teen in the 70s and you don’t know how I had to fight, was ostracized, made fun of because I loved zeppelin, yes, jethro Tull, Todd rundgren. I was called a white boy. Don’t forget little feat, zz top. It was worth it. Love to see you youngsters validate my choices. I knew I was correct!
The song is actually a blues songs
My uncle was born in 1927 and he heard me playing this and just stood still and listened and said wow they could play wow😮.
Led Zeppelin is the Beatles of Heavy Metal. "It's better than anything out today." How true.
Led zeppelin are not heavy metal
You are the Beatles of stupid comments.
Robert plants voice when he was at this age was unbelievable..
Now this is music everybody!!! A trippy, from the soul, from the heart and it must be from another universe!!! These guys are the GOATS!!!
This live at Madison square is un-fkn believable! watching Jimmie play the quitar with a violin bow blew me away!never seen any thing like that since!!!
I had the pleasure of watching Zeppelin live ..... you can imagine what an experience it was ....., Amazing
Saw them in 1978. One of my core memories and I went to a lot of concerts.
Plus I own every album.
Me too Bro, Long Beach Arena ,Calif. 1975 Tour for $10.50 and jammed for 3 1/2 hours that night! Peace.
FLASHBACK! 70'S TEENS TRIPING WITH ZEPPELIN! MUSIC OF MY YOUTH! ❤ 🎶🎶🎶
The way Plant, Page, and Jones are tearing away at your soul, and Bonham's drumming comes at you with gun shots to your heart.
This is the original stoner music. Thank God I grew up on this music and still listen to it. Now you youngsters can experience what great music is.
Still is my friend, it still is...
The ULTIMATE Review of "Dazed and Confused". GOLD NEVER FADES.......
THATS HOW YOU MAKE ROCK AND ROLL,MY GOD!!!
Jimmy with his violin bow~!
We were lucky in our generation, to grow up listening to this kind of music. I'm 63.🙂
I was lucky enough to see this live at The Spectrum in Philly.
Zeppelin always brought the sauce. Amazing band. Gold.
Led Zeppelin is my all time favorite class rock band.
A real powerhouse! A 20-year old First-Time listener nailed it! "This is a song about TOXIC LOVE" This can bring everyone together because regardless of your age, race, gender, background or current situation, this is something we ALL have to deal with at some time.
Brain Squeeze made the cut....I'm blessed ❤ Thank You
Yes, absolutely! You get the pin for this video too! Your led zeppy reactions are fucking amazing. I can't hear these songs for the first time so the next best thing is watching someone else hear for the first time that has similar effects on them as it did me.
Thank YOU, for stopping by to officially give your blessing for using your reactions. You will likely make the cut for many future videos. 💜
I hope you will take me up on my suggestion of exploring A Tribe Called Quest for OG hip hop greatness. Eventually, I will be doing a comp for their songs "Electric Relaxation" or "Award Tour". The D.O.C. is another OG hip hop artist I would highly recommend. As if you don't have enough suggestions already, I'm sure. 😅
You deserve it mate. You beautiful fucking nutter 😜👏👏👏🙏
I love BrainSqueeze❤❤❤
My son and I love Brainsqueeze Led Zeppy reactions ❤
and memorable too ❤
I grew up listening to this song as the last song of side 1 of the Led Zeppelin debut album. I had the same reaction as most of these reactors but was on a longer roller coaster ride starting with "Communication Breakdown" then followed by "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You" and "You Shook Me" before wrapping up with "Dazed and Confused". You are doing a great services with these compilations. Thank you (hint, put on side 2 of the album) :)
Thanks for your comment... trust me... Led Zeppelin being my favorite band ever... there are many more songs on the list. Happy holidays!
Famous for Jimmy Page's use of a violin bow on his guitar. One of the most incredibly awesome debut albums in history. Damned near perfect.
What a pleasure to see all of you big smile mooving yours head
He uses a cello bow for that sound. Just so amazeballs 🎉
WonderMommaOG- thank you for all your hard work... it's sure worth it. I've seen all your subjects on an individual basis. But this mash-up is a fabulous idea... I'm guessing it's difficult to do, but you've persevered to your credit. Milles merçis. Peace, love and bellbottoms from Canada.
Thank you, for the new mashup! I love seeing these reactions to the perfection of Robert Plant’s voice and Jimmy Page’s guitar! The blues? The best rock band ever and one of my favorite songs. I love Led Zeppelin too. I wasn’t old enough for to appreciate it in the 70s. Then 80s music came in. We still listened growing up in the early 80s at parties. Now, I appreciate Plant and Page enormously. LZ must be taken a little at a time. There was no more LZ without Bonzo.
Beautiful 70s-80 as far as Music. As far as life not so good in the 70s. 80s were GREAT!!!!!!!! 70s was straight up crazy.
Favorite Led Zeppelin song
It is not better than "a lot of stuff you hear today" it is better than practically everything you hear today, everything!
Just remember when these guys were growing up all they had was the blues to listen to.
Zeppelin swag is an entity unto itself. No other band will ever match the totality of body of transcendent creation.
Dazed and confused is exactly how I feel watching this video. Led Zeppelin's music cannot leave anyone indifferent.
Thank you for this wonderful Christmas gift WonderMommaOG. It is impossible for us to return the favor.
Another wonderful job, WM! I remember sitting with my pals in HS and listening to this when it came out. Then we went to see them in ‘69 on their first US tour in SF! ❤❤
Lucky! I feel a void in my life that I never got to see them live. But I was 8 years old when Bonham died and things ended for Zeppelin. I just have to live vicariously through those who have seen them live.
America invented rock the British just showed you how to play it. Yet they respected what want before
The greatest,most diverse rock band ever….Icons !
OK good people. This gave me much joy. Watching everyone rock out over something I grew up with.
I can tell you that back in the day we had the same reaction. Even more so. Because this was new at the time.
Enjoy
Led Zeppelin are the GOAT Always has been and Always will be!!!
Even more mind blowing is the shear amount of bands at or close to this level that were pumping out music during this same era.
"Emotional Rollercoaster" is a term that fits this song perfectly...
"WtF just happened?!" That pretty much summed up LZ for me too back in the day. They are truly the fathers of rock power.
I want to thank you for your compilations. I was 13 in 1970. Music is my oxygen. I went to so many concerts and witnessed the greatest of bands. I sang in bands for years, starting at 19. I actually blew a huge deal. A promoter was in a bar where I was singing. Tiny tiny bar lol He loved my voice, asked me to meet him in NYC. I did, huge office on Central Park West. He gave me an unknown album and asked me to learn 2 songs and make a tape acapella. I was so excited on the train ride home. I told my friends and family but no one really cared. Me, being self concious, blew it off. The promoter called me at work so many times pushing me to make the tape. I blew it and singing was everything to me. I was 20 at the time, from a small town on Long Island. I don't talk about it. This is the first time I've mentioned it. Keep up the comps!
Thank you for sharing this! And thanks for being here.
@@WonderMommaOG I don't know your musical taste. I listen to so many different artists. Have you listened to Chris Cornell? I'm not a huge Soundgarden fan, but I love his solo and accoustic music. His album "Higher Truth" is phenominal. He loves melody and writes poetry. "Murderer of Blue Skies" and "Through The Window" are two great songs from the album. Always listen with headphones to hear the nuances of instruments and vocals. Wishing you a wonderful new year.
@@Raittway I listen to a little bit of everything and a lot of certain things. Chris Cornell has been on my playlist for a long time. Though, I haven't done a deep dive on any of his solo albums. I definitely will do that very soon. Thanks again!
He was an amazing man. We share a bday
Masterpiece of a track. Love Zepp so much, they're my favourite band 😊
When I was 16, my boss told me if you feel the music, Dazed and Confused is an acid trip set to music, & Whole Lotta Love is "a matinee" I'll call it😂(& climax) set to music. Hard to argue
I was already impressed by your amazing and unique editing style, now we get to see your spreadsheet skills too?! I don't know how to handle being this impressed.
😅 I love it when my nerdy spreadsheet gets noticed! Thank you. lol
Oh Momma.....you outdid yourself on this one. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face if I tried! Have a great holiday...I know I will after this and thnx so much!!
💜
Out of all the billions of years there's been a planet Earth some of us won the lottery to be teens during this era of music
Yes. I am fine with being as old as I am right now as long as I could hear and go to concerts with music like this when I was a young man.
My favorite Zep song...this was awesome as always, your work is very appreciated!
Thank you very much!
When this came out people didn't worry as much about lyrics like today. The music was first and foremost and lyrics were sometimes just a curiosity. Rap music has the lyrics ahead of the music and that's ok and understandable. I like music that sounds good, regardless of genre (including rap).
The first song I heard and watched of Led Zeppelin, it was in black and white, performed live, "Dazed and Confused". I just thought no band can be compared on that performance.
As usual WonderMammaOG great song & reaction. All for you doing many more Zeppelin!
Plant's voice is the fourth instrument. It's not just singing lyrics
Been listening to them so long, I kinda forget how it made me feel the first time but seeing it affect all these uninitiated brings me right back. The live version on TSRTS is 7 more levels of insanity, not to mention Earls Court, how the west was won, royal Albert hall, blueberry hill and on and on and on... Great Video Momma thank you.
WonderMama, your ‘making of’ section has given me PTSD grad school memories. You do all that hidden work with joy I’m sure.
This Aussie thanks you! I love watching people discover the ~fabulousness~ and their reactions of Led Zeppelin. They are ..every generation music. But so much more, words cannot describe their amazing talent. Ive grown up with their music and never ever ever tire of it. ❤ Thanks again.
Robert Plant once said that without John Bonham, Led Zep would have been insignificant.
Welcome to what we grew up to. Jealous?! Great to see current generations vibing to what we grew up listening to.
Had the sheer joy of seeing this band on one of their last concerts ... MEGA!
love seein everyone, brothers and sisters, enjoying LZ . My trip started in 1969 as a 19 yo. Still love them + all my people out there.
I love this song since my teens in the 70's. I'm happily married for 38 years.
Thank you for putting this together. Loved this ❤️
You've got to do "Moby Dick" from one of Zeppelins live shows, Bonhams mastery of the drums, watch and "drop the mic 🎤", period.
Yes! This is on my list!
@@WonderMommaOG you won't be disappointed.
Thanks for the compile. Zeppelin absolute takes you on a journey every single time…and you never know what to expect, but you know it will be perfection and mind blowing. Stunning musicians.
This song came out in 1969 - the band members are like 20 -21 years old - thats remarkable talent!
Needed this on xmas day. These reaction compilation videos are tremendous. Great song choices also. I saw page doing the violin thing with the firm in the 80s. Unexpected and surreal. God bless.
great great great compilation, ma'am!!! it is SUCH a surprising song---the fusion of blues and rock is beyond belief and you can tell the effect on people is MASSIVE!!!! That was FUN!!!!
This is the first time I've had the Pleasure of seeing All of your reactions! I had tickets to see Zeppelin but the concert was cancelled because John Bottoms passed away. We were All so heartbroken
Bottoms!? 🤪
Well @WonderMommaOG ...this is classic, and exactly what Molly needs. This is real blues rock.
I agree! I do hope he goes down the studio route more than the live at first. Thanks for stopping by and subbing!
@@WonderMommaOG we'll get him there... Just everyone wants him to do live ...but only some bands sound good live, I agree the studio version is the way.
You are very welcome.. 🤘
Merry Christmas, Mama. Saving Rock n Roll one song at a time.😎🎸🎸🎸.
I wonder if Plant, Page and Jones see these reactions! Love it!
To imagine that any of them might see this video is in an honor, in and of itself. I might pass out if any of these artists ever made me aware that they've seen it. lol
You cannot have a Mount Rushmore of hard rock bands without Zep. My older brother turned me on to this band when I was six, back in 1972. I love my brother.
Well done WonderMomma
Watching young people discover the genius that was Zepplin is my newest guilty pleasure.
This edit is the best ever. Amazing
Y nunca me sentí sola .
❤ it thank you.....just finished work on Christmas eve and I thought bit of zeppelin.....this is really good and you should be very proud it....merry Christmas and a brilliant New year....more zeppelin please...thank you
This is a fun one! Well, they’re All fun, but I’m the old school and bought ZEPPELIN one when I was 14 in the mid 70’s. I had zero clue as to what I had bought, I just thought the cover art looked cool so how bad can the music be. Ha Ha! To this day that is my favorite album, I believe it’s the single greatest Rock album and the epitome of Rock and Roll. It’s their bluest album.
It’s fun watching people freak out on something I’ve been listening to for decades and can sing all the songs to. I know it’s weird to see all of us 50 something + , fat, balding, white dudes singing along and jamming to this type of music by heart. We were teenagers when all of this got started, so we were in on the ground floor. I remember watching an newer, live, RUSH video and when they showed the audience, the first several rows were nothing but 50/60 year old white dudes! I thought, poor RUSH, these are the hardcore fans. Then I realized that the band had grown up with these guys all along, it was just weird seeing it, then I remembered, I’M ONE OF THOSE GUYS! Ha Ha! My generation rules this genre of music Big Time! 😁
I really want to meet some of these reactors in person and sing along, jamming with some hard songs they’ve never heard and I know by heart. I just want to see the expression on their faces when I show I know the song, ANY song! Ha Ha! Scary. 😬
Led Zeppelin can bring out the stink face of everyone, brings out the air guitar & air drums. I love watching these reactions, some you can really tell they are blown away. LED Zeppelin like no other band actually oozes the music they play, they live & breath their music from their souls.
We called it acid rock. I saw them in ‘73, Vancouver, BC, CA. My BF, our friends & I drove the 8 hrs from Portland, OR. I was 16. It was epic.
We had our tickets, got in line in the afternoon of the day before the concert and it’s where we slept that night. All to get decent seats. Still, we didn’t get on the floor but we were on the 1st tier so that wasn’t bad.
The 5 of us crossed the border into Canada without a problem. Weed, cocaine, ‘shrooms & LSD on board, ready for a long weekend. Only 2 of us were over 18. No passports needed & I don’t remember having to show ID (there’s a lot I don’t remember from that weekend) but, IDK, maybe the driver at least did. Hell, I didn’t drive yet so don’t think I even owned ID other than a birth certificate. No idea if I had it with me. That’s what freedom looked like. Different times and very grateful I was there.
No offense, but, to quote Mr. Plant from this song: "Sweeeet little baby, I don't know where you been..." The algos have kept you a secret from me until just now! Damn you, algos! Also me: Love you, algos! I saw your collection behind Door #1 here and instantly smashed SUBSCRIBE, which I rarely do, but didn't want to lose your channel in the Sea of CZcams. Only 1/2 thru this song and your work looks extraordinary. I can only imagine the hours this takes--MANY thanks! And "the making of"? AYFKM?? Cool!
Thank you, Joe! I'm glad you're here.
55 year old song...so creative! The Goats!
The Led Zeppelin Song that put The Late Great John Bonham #1 drummer all time in my book
The ultimate blues song! I can't remember when I first heard it. I would like to go back to see my reaction. 😅
Same!
It was normal to hear this screaming out the windows of cars an trucks daily of course through 70s into early 80s
You have really added value in the creation of this. Great work ethic, care and attention to detail and an organised process too. I hope you get the success you deserve with this and keep on your roll.
Much appreciated!
I 'm gonna add to my comment below by making a humble suggestion, as I know such a thing would be a Big Ask and all, so no worries if never done! But: Hector ("Brain Squeeze," I see here that u know his antic , splendid work) dropped "In my time of dying" tonight (after annoyingly persistent hints by myself and others that the drumming would land him in a staightjacket). Forgive me if I missed it, but if u don't already, THAT song would be a cool reaction montage, no? (Zep is MY fav band ever as well!) Cheers, WonderMommaOG!
We may have talked about this already but Zeppelin is my favorite band too... then Pink Floyd. There are many songs on my list that I will be covering... In my time of dying is one of them.
@@WonderMommaOG Yes! Thank you in advance. WhenEVER it appears! And yeah, Zep is my fave, and #'s2-5 can vary, I suppose, tho Pink Floyd is usually in there, I'd say. '65-'75, but especially '67-'73, was just, like, a miraculous explosion of kick-ass music, the like of it never to be seen or heard again, imo.
Momma, great compilation as always. I'm so happy you found/included Mark (@brainsqueezereactions) he was a hip hop head, Now he listens to a lot of the devils music (Rock) he now loves Zeppy (as he calls them), Floyd, Sabbath, CCR, he can't get enough of different genre's.
Thank you. I love Mark's reactions!
Kids today don't even know what instruments can do ❤
No studio mix needed 🤷🏻♀️
