One of my favorite moments of the show so far is when Shaun identified himself as Glassman's son to Hannah. I don't think he's ever acknowledged that out loud like that before.
That was so sweet. He has come so far, personally and professionally.
In season 5 Shaun told Glassy " My father is great" followed by "I love you Dr. Glassman" acknowledging Glassy as his father. Like yes the moment you mentioned was incredibly sweet & made my heart melt, but he had acknowledged that before.
@@rahaa.sh_307 True but I meant to anyone else aside from the two of them. Everyone acknowledges that Shaun is essentially Glassman's son, it's just not something that he does much, especially not to other people like that.
@@WarGrowlmon18 Yeah, that makes sense👌
I cried after that. Shaun already knew from the beginning that Dr. Glassman was like a father to him. On season 5 Episode 20: Sons, Shaun told Dr. Glassman that his father is a very good father. Dr. Glassman asked "Is " Shaun was referring to Dr. Glassman, that was very beautiful 🥺
I can't believe it after seven years in just a week it will all be over. I'm really gonna miss you, Shaun.
Will they save Claire, in your opinion?
cringe comment
I can’t believe it’s been 7 years
When this show came out I was 17 I didn't know what I wanted to be in life. When I first saw The Good Doctor the first scenes in the OR were people passing the instrument during surgery. I assuredly said how cool would it be working in the OR and with surgeons. 5+ years later age 24 have done my clinical rotations in Northwell Hospital and had the privilege of working on spinal and general cases etc. I am currently a graduate in 2024. All I need is to pass my state certification and officially be a Surgical technologist. I never missed an episode of The Good Doctor for the past 7 years It truly gave me inspiration in my life and grateful to have found this show from the very first episode cause if weren't for this show I think I truly wouldn't have the ambition to select a career. I've watched this show on my way to work, School, while off the clock at work eating, heck even being sick one day at the hospital I truly was moved by every story of the good doctor. Thank you THE GOOD DOCTOR I WILL MISS YOU 🥺
Congrats!
That is amazing, and one heck of an accomplishment! I don't know you, but I am proud of you! Keep up the good work. God bless!
That's awesome!! And congratulations on your success and future career! You're an inspiration to your generation that you can succeed if you set mind to it and work hard! Well done!
That's really awesome congrats! I just ended my freshman year of college and I'm majoring in nursing. I'm not sure what type of nurse I want to be, but I do know I want to be a nurse and help people.
Same here and I’m an OR nurse! The OR is amazing.
This is gonna be one rollercoaster of a finale since it’s the series finale. Let’s hope Shaun can save both Dr. Glassman and Claire. Losing his brother Steve was bad enough, he can’t lose 2 more important people in his life. Still I can’t believe the show is gonna be all over. Shaun has come a long way, with him being a husband and father, feels like his journey is only beginning.
Shaun has to let go. Glassman is old and isn’t gonna be around forever. Everyone tragically has to let go of their father. Shaun needs to accept he can’t cure cancer.
@@spideyfan1278 68 is hardly old enough for anyone to die naturally. One thing is to let a parent go when they're actually old (80's or 90's), another thing completely is when it happens well before their time.
@@danielavingiani I lost my grandpa to prostate cancer 3 years ago. He was 71.
@@spideyfan1278my condolences
The finale summary says that they're gonna be grappling with their futures while doing this. So my predictions:
Morgan and Park officially adopt Eden which was stated to only be a few days away.
Lim maybe leaves. She's been reminded a lot of who she used to be and I think has really started to see how much her career has impacted her personal life. Lim could end up going to Chicago to make things right with Clay, maybe replaced by Park or Shaun as the Chief of Surgery. Morgan can't do it because she's no longer a surgeon.
If Claire survives, she finally gets a happy ending with Jared.
As Danny is confirmed to return for the finale, he and Jordan finally sort things out and get together. He could also be coming back to work after recovering from his injuries.
I like to say thank you TGD for touching so many lives during these 7 seasons. It has been a pleasure being able to watch it every week and I have enjoyed every moment. The people that TGD has touched will never forget it.
Amen!! I second that!
A dear friend of mine loved this series so much and fought so hard to live after being diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer - and she lived enough to see Shaun and Lea have their baby. I can't help but feel her spirit in the room with me whenever I'm watching this wonderful series.
Sending much love ❤️
I hope Claire and Glassy will be alright, I wish the series wasn’t ending.
I stopped watching the series for a bit, only coming back for big events. But now after watching the final season, as Jared said I can’t say goodbye, I just got it back.
For someone who is on the spectrum. I have learned so much from this show. It really helped me become a better person. I am so gonna miss the show. 😢
I'm going to miss it too 😢.
Do you find this show to be offensive? I'm asking that because you've mentioned that you're on the spectrum and I saw a post of the good doctor and the comments were people saying the show is rude and have no respect towards people with autism and that everything Dr. Murphy did is not how autistics acts. I would like to know your intake on it.
But this show is just a total pseudo science crap...
Praying we get one last Shaun Murphy miracle because if this season and the series ends with either Claire or Glassman dead I will be a wreck
Same here!💔😭
I'll be bawling!💔😭
Me too😢
I’m glad y’all feel this way because I’m crying again. And after all the years Morgan is truly happy, boy I’ve just loved how well she played that role. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Just finished watching the finale. And without giving away any spoilers I will say. What an incrediably beautiful way to end such a moving show. Kudos the the writers and actors all around, this was an amazing piece of art that many many people will continue to enjoy for years to come
I can't say goodbye. So, I won't.
Thank you ABC for giving us The Good Doctor. You've touched so many lives with it and I won't forget how this show has touched mine. 🍏
Im not ready for this series to be over i watched every single episode seems like yesterday it just started
Will they save Claire, in your opinion?
Oh my goodness, this. I'm going to miss this show so much. It's been nothing but an amazing series to watch. Freddie Highmore has elevated himself as an actor, truly remarkable stuff

A part of me loves the fact that the final episode won’t be the hospital trying to save two random characters but two of the most important people in Shaun’s growth: his father and his best friend. I’m nowhere near ready to say goodbye to this show but ABC thank you for giving us this amazing show for the past 7 years.
What happened to two-hour finales? It deserves that at least.
im not ready for this finale
Will they save Claire, in your opinion?
@@giosy0072I'm positive Claire will live.
Watching the show about 1@1/2 week and finally finished it today rn. Never felt this much impact on completing a series. It was a wholesome experience
I just knew that the writers would end the penultimate episode on a cliffhanger. Also, isn’t it odd how TGD ends on the 12 yr anniversary of the House M.D. series finale? Also, both series end with its second most important character (Wilson and Glassman) having cancer.
That’s such a coincidence and that they’re both created by David Shore
Oh I’m just heartbroken, I live very rural so I only have satellite, I will never forget once, I accidentally deleted the show before I could watch ( no on demand ) long story short I called Direct TV begging them to retrieve it for me, the agent said oh it was a good episode, I said oh talk about adding insult to injury, I cried last night because I just don’t want it to end.
I even watch the reruns I have never loved a show as much The Good Doctor. I have just never watched a show that I loved all the cast like this, I’ve grown to just love every one. It probably sounds like I’m some kind of nut, I can’t help it. I rewatched again this morning, finally Morgan was happy, I was just overjoyed to see Claire back.
I’m going to miss the show so much, I’ve never missed an episode, my accidental delete, I went to my daughters house to watch, please know how much y’all have meant to me and I’m sure a gazillion more people. I just wanted to tell you all how much I’ve loved the show.
I’m not ready to say goodbye 😢
My mom and I were big fans of this series
I can’t believe it’s over. I didn’t even know until i watched the final episode. Im glad i watched this show from the very beginning. I remember watching a video clip of Jhon and how he gets when he comes up with an incredible idea and i thought right away. I need to watch this show.
And i have ever since, can’t believe it’s been 7 years. I’ll miss truly miss it
First Georgie Senior dies now Glassman might die NOOOOOOOO 😭😭😭😭😭😭

why are they both ending at the ame time its just makes it sooo sad for us
@@green_lucozadeI bet only one will survive. I don't think the show kill off both.
Literally! I love both shows and I can't deal with two deaths from my top two shows...
Only 45min for the finale? That was way to short for the last episode 😢
Yes this show was really good, I watched every episode as soon as it aired, the best hospital show I have seen
That’s was a quick 7 years. Seems like it was just starting. What a great finale. Tear jerker
If you're an empath, or just want to let out a good cry, you should definitely watch this show. The very first episode had me in tears, from Claire being so kind to Sean, to Dr. Glassman taking Sean under his wing and being there for him through it all, you feel that deeply when you are longing for someone to see you, hear you, be present with you. It was even more amazing to see the way everyone expressed such raw emotions because man this world is tough to be in as an empath. It was heartwarming to see Sean and Lea's relationship grow throughout the show. I will never forget the scene of his breakdowns and they were each there for him, supporting him, my heart 🥺💕. The scene where Sean realized his mistake and Claire calmed him down, the scene where Lea comforted him in the hotel room was absolutely beautiful. There is no one that could've played the role of Sean better than Freddie Highmore, the tears started flowing during his last scene with Lea and Glassy, I felt every word. The character development in this show is top tier. Beautiful job well done and thank you 💕
I’m glad Claire is returning. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m glad that Claire and Jared are together, hopefully they will be endgame

My predictions for the finale
Glassman Dies and Shaun leave St. Bonaventure
I just hope Claire doesn't die because she deserves some happiness whether it will be with Jared or alone
I'm sure Claire can be saved, but Glassman... the guy has been through so much and his brain just isn't what it once was. I’m already crying. I don’t want to say goodbye to this series.
I think charlie is going to give shaun the idea to save them and they will be best of friends, and shaun will tell her she will be an excellent surgeon!
I would love that! Imagine Charlie is the one who comes up with the solution, Lim goes back to Chicago and makes things right with Clay, and the show ends with Shaun taking over as chief of surgery, and Charlie as a surgeon.

An amazing show! Thank you for a wonderful 7 years!
Such a great show. I loved this show as well as House MD. Unlike House, this show didn’t have a weak season at all.
This was such a beautifully designed t.v show, that hit on so many true things that happens in the ER/OR. It brought me such joy watching as a former ER personnel. I definitely cried and smiled so much during this shows run. I just know I’m going to be in tears on this show’s finale! Thank you ABC for crafting such a realistically wonderful show!
Going to miss this show so much!! 😭
What an ending 😢😅
From a medical perspective a GBM is usually terminal like Glassman said, I shed some tears when he said that because something similar happened to my grandma. She was completely fine and started having “hot flashes” (were really absent seizures) and then they did an MRI and they diagnosed with a GBM and she slowly degraded over 10 months. She outlived their life expectancy.
I'm sure Claire can be saved, but Glassman... the guy has been through so much and his brain just isn't what it once was. Glassman raised Shaun to be on his own, “redeemed” the loss of his daughter Maddie through Hannah, built the hospital in a stronger position than when we first started the series. His chapter is done.
Along with the fact that his cancer is terminal.
@@greggchaffin1596 Im thinking this too. And the way we dont see Glassman lying in hospital bed in this trailer might confirm that he already accepted his fate. 😢
