Guys, stop paying for another persons debt! If a woman is over 25, single, has a child and still has debts then just run. The amount of red flags there are staggering. Also, just because you make more than your partner, doesn't mean you have to pay more. Separate your assets so you have some financial protection even from the long con types. If need be, consult a lawyer specialized in asset protection.

    • @liwendiamond9223
      @liwendiamond9223 Před 10 měsíci

If you get lawyers involved to protect your assets as you engage yourself in what is supposed to be durable romantic relationship founded on love and sacred duty, you are setting yourself up for divorce from the very start. Married people typically join their bank accounts, which is the exact opposite of your suggestion to raise legal barriers preemptively. It reinforces the lifelong oath they swear to each other on the altar. The way to avoid long con types is to marry a person whom you know and your community knows, someone who was raised in the same value system as you, who has plainly embraced it wholeheartedly, who can be vetted by 20 elders whose judgement you can rely on.
The problem nowadays is most people don't have such a community. They don't have a network of wisdom and people-knowledge to find their mate. They are completely atomized individuals seeking other atomized individuals at random hoping they win the relationship lottery. This practically never happens and thus most relations end in disaster. If you want to find true everlasting love, first join a community, which are always centered around religious institutions (so I guess first you need to start believing in something greater than yourself, your desire to bang a female, and your bloody assets), devote yourself to that community and that faith with your whole heart and soul, and I can practically guarantee you that community will give back to you by producing the faithful wholesome woman of your dreams, and then you'll have 4+ kids with her and live happily ever after.
The key is not to have bloody lawyers backing you up in case of psycho bitches, it's being involved with a faith-based community (in physical space, not online.) where such rotten eggs are quickly spotted and routed out. Always has been. Always will be. I don't care which one you join. A Jewish one, or Muslim, or Christian, Mormon, Amish, or perhaps even a native American tribe, it doesn't matter. But you must HAVE one, or you are doomed to spiritual solitude, and therefore solitude of all kinds.

They where scraping by before, so you dont need to come in and be the white knight for them. Even if you end up getting amried, keep 3 bank accounts. I mean, not always. She could have been the widow of a young policeman who got killed in the line of duty, which would explain why she's 29, single, with one kid, and still a wholesome and kind mother and would be wife to anyone willing to pick up after the late first husband.
Or maybe it was the father of the child who was an abusive A-hole in the prior relationship and she had to end it all to protect her kid. Single mothers aren't automatically bad eggs. Sometimes there isn't even one bad egg to be found. My parents got divorced after 12 years of marriage and having had 3 kids, and neither of them were bad eggs, its just that their relationship fell apart over time. They didn't knew themselves and each other all that well when they first married (they were only 21 at the time), and strained to maintain a genuine romance. It happens. They both quickly found another partner that was better suited for them, and growing up it's almost like I had two dads and two moms. Both couples are still together and happy 30 years later.
All that being said, do your homework before you commit. Look for the signs. Bag eggs aren't that hard to crack and they smell awful. You'll know fast enough if you just pay attention.

Unfortunately, those scenarios are pretty much the exceptions and not the rule (like they used to be), these days.
The only sympathy (empathy?) I'd have for single mothers is if they were fleeing extreme circumstances (such as an abusive partner) or suffered from a tragedy (such as their partner being killed or dying).
But, again, most single mothers these days, pretty much the default why they're single mothers really, are single mothers because they're just train-wrecks.
And, to be cold? Dating a single mother, no matter the cause, typically has the same effects when it comes being a priority in their lives compared to a woman without children, and when it comes to your role in that child's life itself.
"Blended families" always have cracks and faults -- it's just some survive them and others don't (personally I know families that had both outcomes, but the latter is more the depressing norm).
It's just a headache all around compared to dating an unattached woman.
Additionally, if the woman you were dating basically chose you over her own child (this can apply to single fathers dating women too). would you really want to be with someone so morally repugnant that they'd ditch their own child in favour of a new partner?@@liwendiamond9223

      *Western women, but yeah.
What a lot of people don't realize because of modern feminism is that women are generally predisposed to be coddled. Think about it - before civilization women were always being protected and provided for by men. Men brought home the food from hunts, and men protected women from predators. This is because women's role at the time was to give birth and take care of children, which pretty much meant that they had to "stay in the kitchen". This is also why women are seen as more compassionate and empathetic - they HAD to be since it was their entire job to raise children.
This natural state of seeking protection from men carried over to when civilization and societies were established. You can even see this natural order today with things like "women and children first", "you can't hit women", the fact that the military is still almost entirely composed of men especially on the front lines, women wanting tall guys who make a lot of money for physical protection and financial gain, the whole culture of men opening doors for women that only recently became obsolete, and more. You can also see the natural tendency of women towards feminine, care oriented roles in things like their love of cute things like pets/babies, their higher rates of working at jobs like teachers, daycare employees, and nurses, and also the tendency of women to vote for bigger government because they want to help people through regulation (and also because they're less independent and expect a larger force like the government to protect them.)
Due to their relative physical weakness, women also preferred relational warfare as a means of competition against other women to get men. This is why women are more prone to gossip and care a lot about fashion: status is the name of the game.
All this goes to show that gender roles exist for a reason and that given absolute free will, men and women will naturally gravitate towards certain things. The only reason why people don't understand this nowadays is because they've been brainwashed by feminism and birth control has made them forget that for most of history, women were immobilized because of pregnancy. Now am I saying that all women should stay in the kitchen, period? No. If a woman wants to take on a traditionally male occupation and is qualified for it, I really don't give a shit. In fact, I actually respect them. And birth control is a good thing, as long as it is safe and used properly.
What I am saying is that people need to stop attributing shit like "the pay gap" and the fact that there are less women in STEM to "muh patriarchy". Women have free choice in Western society, if they wanted to be in STEM or jobs that pay better they would. But of course, because of this myth we have affirmative action crap where women are hired to fill out a quota even if they're unfit. So yes, women, minorities, they're coddled as hell. And I'm saying this as a minority myself. Then again, not much of a minority when I'm Asian and all the American universities will see that and would rather admit minorities because "Asians are overrepresented". Even if the only reason we are overrepresented is because Asians tend to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and work hard and get shit done, while whites are over here being apologists and blacks are blaming muh white supremacy for everything and looting stores like degenerates.

I'm just saying, getting into reading about other people's drama as a main source of entertainment, really isn't great for your own mental health, and it's just a friendly reminder, not a judgement on you. I know this channel itself is creating content that to a degree mongers on drama, but hero hei at least switches up the topics and makes videos about whatever interesting or important is happening, drama and negativity aside. And I'm really only saying this 'cause real life negativity and conflict is really not the same thing as a soap opera or television series-where you don't have to actively put in the mental energy to judge people or compare to yourself morally, you just shut your brain off and enjoy the writing and performance of the show. And on the internet when we know that these people are real and that they can be compared to ourselves, focusing on it can then slowly change how we perceive ourselves and others for the worse. It's a subconscious thing, whether we're aware of it or not. But I'll admit that it can be entertaining too, but I hope the rabbit hole doesn't get too long for you like it does for some unfortunately.

An unfortunate but good rule of thumb is to never be responsible for someone's basic living (just dating, not married, but even then you need this sorted out before marriage) and I would say that to any man or woman looking for dates.
I get that some people are more well off and they want to help, and they shouldn't feel bad about that to a certain extent, but you NEED to be careful.
The fine line between generous and exploited is as thin as the line between grateful and greedy. They may look the same at the time, but they're very different words the longer it goes on.

    • @McCaroni_Sup
      @McCaroni_Sup Před 10 měsíci +1

It's less about not being responsible for someone's basic living and more about not being responsible for helping them fix themselves up. That said, your argument about basic needs is correct for a different reason - both partners should be financially independent before marriage so that they can easily end the relationship if they need to. After marriage it's okay if one partner isn't financially independent as long as they're contributing in other ways - like child-rearing, housework, etc. That said, it's becoming easier for stay at home parents to be financially independent because of online work.
The real good rule of thumb is don't be with someone who has an unhealthy amount of debt and is in a bad place financially. First because it is usually (but not always) a good indicator of financial irresponsibility.
The second reason is this. You know how if you take on a liability like Accounts Payable and an asset like Furniture when you buy a table on account? Well, providing for a financially unstable partner is like getting Accounts Payable, but then there's a high chance your furniture gets burned down in a house fire. In other words, it's a very risky liability to take on, both in terms of financial investment and emotional investment.

So yes, if you play it right it can be an easy way to manipulate a guy who actually wants that responsibility... at least he will until you manipulate him. Who knows, maybe his bachelor life starts now?

Unfortunately, she won't learn her lesson until she's in her mid forties and alone after her kid leaves home. Women that delusional take YEARS to finally get it and sometimes they still never do.

Considering I'm watching videos regarding AIT(A/J), the OP in this situation is NTA. He's better off without her. When she got her new salary her greediness started to show by purchasing irresponsibly. If this is her place in her name, the OP is lucky to have been kicked out only, cause now he can sit at his parents/grandparents/cousins/siblings places until he finds his own place to rent/purchase if he doesn't have one yet. She kept him for the most part so that he can pay the bills/utilities blah blah. She has a few loose screws to even insult her own child.
The OP can find someone that actually can reciprocate feelings, it's just not the right time yet probably. It's gonna take a while to find the right person, but honesty and trust is what a relationship is standing on.

Without him her life would be totally different. He had connections and made her career. He paid her bills and who knows what else. She would be living in a single wide trailer or in government housing without him. She never cared for him and just wanted a walking wallet with intimacy benefits. He sounds like a great man, responsible and has a good head on his shoulders. He deserves so much better, she will regret it especially if she looses her job or has to file for bankruptcy due to her absolute horrible financial management. I pray for him and for that woman's poor child. I also pray for her, that she wakes up and see's what she has become and the wickedness that she does. I hope she realizes that you can't treat and use people like that, it will always come back to bite you in the rear horribly. . She might buy her child things and spoil him but she is not teaching him responsibility or how to be a decent man . Children see EVERYTHING you do and those actions help mold their personalities/ minds. I pray her child doesn't take after her complete narcissistic selfishness and lack of compassion or her insane Comprehension of reality...

The worst part is the way she talked about her kid. I wish I could speak to the kid and tell him to be strong because her mom will make him suffer

She got knocked up by one of those "jacked and tats" boys who ditched her hard, and then latched onto someone foolish enough to walk into the trap of "Oh, I'm such a good mother, struggling to care for this boy!". Now she's got money herself, she's finally showing her true colours.
One to beam up, Captain. Get that boy out of there!

Me, who's the same age, lives with his parents, and has never even been on a date: ...
Oh, and before anyone gets the wrong idea about the living with parents thing, we live on an isolated ranch (have for the past 20 years) and they have vehicle control. I've been trying to find a way to get financial independence from home, but on top of us only getting good internet less than a year ago, chores here can be demanding.

this women better not be abusing her child. this kind of behaviour is a MASSIVE red flag for me. as someone who survived child abuse. this sort of behaviour leads into neglect and mental if not physical abuse.

I lived as a broke college student before, after some ups and down, income increased then drop to 0, then increased again. drop to 0 again then back up. I still do live like broke student now after years of promotions etc, and only use up 25% of my income and saved and invest the rest. Probably buy new gaming laptop once a few years.
The problem with her is, it seems that she thinks her life will keep going up, this is her time, now it's her chance to shine. then increased her living cost. She could have saved money easily because she got used to 40k income. Now when she got used to 70k income, she will be even more entitled, and reality will hit harder when everything goes away.
