Honestly the Lana Del Ray one only stood out because of the head piece, otherwise it’s just… a mid dress with some fake branches. I wanted that sh*t ELEVATED. Put some flowers on the branches or SOMETHING. What I really wanted to see was a dress that actually depicted life and death using florals and trees and hers could’ve been a really good base for that :/ I saw a lot of focus on hand held accessories and I would’ve f*cked with a clutch that was like a bedazzled skull with flowers growing out of it. I just really felt like people did not grasp the theme besides “flowers” or “time” and it’s like “it’s both girlies, it’s both.”
Ugh, literally everyone who had no idea what to do just slapped a few flowers on and were done with trying. I mean florals? For spring? How original. At least the dead branches gave some indication of "time" unlike the dozen or so bright, tacky looking flower dresses that kept showing up. Half the attendees looked like they just had a bunch of colourful pompoms glued on them from any kinda distance.
The first one if they just brought the… skirt(???) down and corseted/sinched her waist a bit to create more of an hourglass shape and then did a little more to hide the bottom of skirt flower cage thingy then the look would’ve ate tbh
Funnily enough the original piece the designer was riffing off of for Lana's dress was a stag antler headpiece with a large lace shoved through the sections of acrylic bone. So 🫎 it is 😂

It doesn't reflect the feminine rage that was so integral to the original piece and the original runway show. The only aspect of the dress that ties it back to the original are the branches holding up the veil. She might as well have ordered it off of Temu.
