I think Margot wearing Black and America wearing Pink was intentional. Like, she is wearing the pink because she is the one from the Barbie Movie thats nominated for it, so she gets the Pink Spotlight

@@flamefangstar no corsets should never hurt as small as they make your waist it dips in below the ribs anyways, if it feels like anything worse than a tight hug it was done wrong. I wore a corset to my graduation and I was fat at the time. They should never hurt.

I’m so TIRED of celebrities not wearing necklaces with their plain ass dresses. It gives Taylor Swift from 2018 and before.
The dresses are always such a slay, literally gorgeous pieces of ethereal cloth stitched together into a masterpiece but it’s all ruined COS THEY DIDNT WEAR A NECKLACE. Also, what’s with the strapless dresses being so low? Leverne and Hailey look like their chest is the size of Canada girl....wear a necklace PLEASE!!!!

@@amsyjo yeah, it's just metal but the point that op is trying to make is that a necklace complements and a lot of the time _completes_ the outfit. They're wearing these simple dresses with nothing else to complement them and it looks flat, like it's missing something

I actually really liked Ryan Gosling's suit! In the lighting, the rhinestones caught the light perfectly and I think he was wearing like a necklace or something? Regardless, I think we can all agree that the I'm just Ken performance suit was the real suit he should've worn.

Margot Robbie and America switched colour palettes. During the promo tour Margot was the focus and wore pink, America wore more muted colours. For the Oscars, America was the focus as the supporting actress nominee, so she got the pink Barbie moment, and Margot wore a darker coloured gown.
