- čas přidán 22. 05. 2024
- Welcome to the first video of this rebuild. I will take hold of the Pittsburgh Steelers in Madden NFL 2004 and do my best to get 3 consecutive winning seasons, or 3 playoff appearances in 5 years, or a Superbowl Appearance. Only then, will the rebuild be complete. So follow along on the journey as I try to be successful, in as short of a time period, as possible.

Recap
=====
Obviously the first year we weren't going to be struggling because this team is stacked. They're super young on both defense and offense. With a few spots to fix up like tightend, defensive end, and free safety. I think the offseason will be fun to try and improve.

#nfl #madden #rebuild - Hry
Actually back when this game came out the 3-4 defense was different. The outside linebackers weren't just defacto DEs. It's the primary reason I want EA to keep the outdated rosters but just separate the classic and modern 3-4s into their own playbooks
This channel is such a hidden gem.
On my Madden rebuilds I usually get a young QB, a defensive player to overpower, and an offensive player whether a TE or WR and even a FB to help my offense stand out. You should do the training camps great development for your team. You’re videos a pure gold
A little Batch is hilarious 😂😂 great content, man
Free agency is your friend in Madden 2004 so many players to choose from especially OP tight ends and receivers
Eric metcalf in the game too
I love these video. All of em. love watching your rebuilds
I love making them for you all!
Kendrell Bell had his best season in 2003 [the year of your feanchise] and McFarlane made a figure of him that I got in a case. At his best, he was great. As you said, injuries cut his career short.
ZERO complaint... and I under why you don't/wouldn't... but my goodness how I wish you would record and show us the interesting games of the season.
I mean, that is why I do my videos the way I do, but you are SO AMAZING at what you do. Love your scripts and editing.
I have thought about it, but added with the extra hour of footage I have to edit, it's just not as exciting sometimes. Multiple turnovers, poor play calling, and low scores compared to the simulation. I think in the entire playoffs there was barely 100 yards on the ground... From both teams! 😆
@@dyn-chise - Yuuup. I have messed with multiple versions of Madden, and while I feel my 04 tournament sliders dialed in solid game play, I have yet to mess with coaching scheme sliders like I did for 02 and 03 last year.
As you might have seen in my 32 Franchise "until it breaks" simulation, 04 does not have long term franchise life before teams completely ruin themselves.
04 was a lot of fun for human vs human play on the couch 🛋.
EA Tiburon made big strides going from 2000 on the PSX to 01 on the PS2 and each year into 05. I made my video on the LEAPS from 02 to 03, and then qe saw greater leaps to 04.
I think Vick + improvements made 04 legendary, but the 05 vs 2K5 war kept 05 from reaching such iconic status. You can talk about 04 without ever saying 2k4. You cannot talk about 05 and bwyond without addressing the elephant innthe room: 2k5 and the exclusive license deal. I think that retroactively causes 04 to gain an even grater iconic status for people's nostalgia. It was the last great Madden that would never be compared to 2k.
That was the most heartbreaking end to a season I’ve ever seen
as a ravens fan, i enjoyed watching PIT losing the way they did.
guess the main free agent we need to sign is Stick 'Em? oh, and some glasses for "Tommy Turnover"
I have heard your eyes are the first thing to go when you get old. He must have lost them after the Championship game!
44:42 real life Bell was 81 tackles, 100 combined, 5 sacks and 1 INT.
Madden 04 sim version had 100 tackles [kind of the same], 9 sacks [+4] and 3 ints [+2]. Not bad. A bit inflated, but not far off of predicting a future
Rocking the GameCube!
Entertaining as always.
Love this dude
Lets go!!! Im hear for the start
55:46 SPOILER
Raiders vs Steelers. The AFC Championship game that the Tuck Rule prevented in 2001 [January 2002].
It would take slightly longer but, I'd love to series while playing head coach 09. I still play that game pretty regularly.
I still have yet to play that game! I want to do a live stream one day. I think a first time playing NFL Head Coach 09 stream would be fun when I get a copy.
Enjoying the videos dude, just wondered if any nk5 vids are on the horizon?
I do plan to return to 2k5. Mostly after this series, but I might have some filler content like the Romo video, just to keep me from burning out from doing too much similar edited content.
58:14 Pretty sure the FB's name in prpnlinced Cry-der [Krider] and not like Cater, but sometimes I don't always get name jokes if that was on purpose.
I did in fact mispronounce it 😞 I wish Madden would put the pronunciation of the names in the game! That'd be neat!
@@dyn-chise - It's all good Bro. You make amazong content. I look forward to each upload.
never thought video games would be better than real life right now..atleast I know that its a video game and real life is truly scripted for gambling
All you need is a quarterback
8:23 - You just skipped over "the Beard" Keisel. Of course, as I said before, EA and Madden does players dorty by not letting them have the ratings they deserve, or allowing them to prpgress based on the scheme they are in.
I'll be honest... I wasn't even sure it was the same guy 😂
@@dyn-chise - Oh, yeah. Thing is, he only put up 26 reps at the combone. In the Madden 2003 combine ratings conversion chart, he is about right at 76 strength. However, he would go on to be 88+ strength in later games.
He worked on that and grew into his body, and Madden just doesn't respect or represent that very well at all.
In Madden, you just see 76 strength DE, what a bum for the 3-4, next please.
In real life, Steelers said hit the weight room, study and get ready. We have Hampton, KVO, and Aaron Smith. We have time to develop our guys.
The Steelers "always" developed the front 7 well and "always" found/developed WR talent.
@@dyn-chise- I would say that Keisel and Troy are players who I would use the training camp to develop. I normally don't do it because the CPU doesn't, but I would love to respect guys who we know deserve the love.
1:06:53 - Come on man, trigger warning!
Question : what do you use to edit your videos ?
And are you playing on OG hardware ?
I use Vegas Pro to edit all the videos I've done, so far, on the channel. I'm also using an emulator. I prefer the clean look it gives. I've tried recording on original hardware but it just didn't look as good.
@@dyn-chise also do you record your voice in Vegas Pro? Or a separate software
In Vegas Pro as well.
@@dyn-chise that’s kinda been my “hindering” trying get everything perfect. I’m going to look into Vegas Pro a little bit more. Right now I’m using DaVinci Resolve Free and I can’t get my videos to render correctly.
Again thank you for all the insight right now I have a lot of “Madden Videos” in the can just trying find time to record a voice over and edit and make slides and what not.
As a suggestion because you’re one of the quality Madden channels I’ve seen in a long time. As a suggestion it would be cool to see somebody do a 32 Team Controlled Franchise or a 4 team division Controlled Series. That’s what I would like to do but I would love to see my idea get out there and see if anybody can do it better than my self if I do it lol.
Keep up the quality videos bro. Definitely staying a subscriber.
I thought about doing a "NFL RedZone" style video, but the amount of work for just one week seems insane to me so I try to stay away from multiple team stuff just cause one teams already enough 😂 but thanks for the compliment! I was the same way when I first started, but sometimes you just have to do it. See the things you could have done better, than do that in the next video. It's always about growing in what you can do and just doing the best you can with what you got!
