I will take hold of the Arizona Cardinals in ESPN NFL 2K5 and do my best to get 3 consecutive winning seasons, 3 playoff appearances in 5 years, or a Superbowl Appearance. Only then, will the rebuild be complete. So follow along on the journey as I try to be successful, in as short of a time period, as possible.

The 2006 season is over and I can tell you right now I was not expecting to have my 7th round quarterback be the potential starter moving forward in the series. I also wasn't expecting my running back, Commissioner Gordon to take a step back. We're so close to becoming a playoff team. There's just a few fixes here and there that we need to make, but we're almost about to be come the cream of the crop soon.

Since you are not playing the games. Game flow is based on your setting of offense/defense aggression I believe. I forget where that menu is in the settings though. Setting the aggression up for the offense may have the team go for two every time not sure.
I didn't think the game plan actually changed anything during simulation. I'll definitely have to check it out!

@@dyn-chisegameplay sliders don’t affect simulation, other than injury slider. May want to turn it down a bit
But yeah there is coaching sliders that affect simulation
He got 12 tackles for losses in one game thats crazy.
Losing Larry for those weeks hurt as well
The trade down in the draft was definitely questionable, but there is a lot of promise here.
I wish my NFL 2k5 wasn't so glitchy in-game. Been kinda wanting to jump back into a franchise mode in that game.
That’s the problem with this game. Jon Ogden and Tom Brady are punt returners, Everyone has the same revo facemasks as rookies, Endless glitches the more seasons you play. Ray Lewis becomes a backup for some reason. The list goes on. That’s why I disqualify it being the greatest football game ever
There's definitely problems with roster management by the computer, but what football game doesn't have this issue. It's been a complaint from football fans since the dawn of time 😂

This season was encouraging in some ways. I don't know if the Guzman is the guy but Ik a franchise QB could take this team to the next level
As always great video! I think changing the coach schemes and philosophy more to pass could give Larry and Bolden over 1000 yards each
Why do you feel dirty about the trade? You gave up 161.21 points of value to trade *down,* which is already a loss and a Jets win. You "lost" the value of the R2P5 selection to trade down. That is a top 5 second round selection to trade down into the top 5 of the second round. It doesn't even make sense why you would do that.

R5P1 = 18.91
Yeah on paper it's not a ripoff but considering that they still draft according to the Mel Mock Draft. It just felt like a wasted pick for the Jets.

In the current NFL, you don't get the bonus back if a player retires. 0:35 in the "Penalty" area, it says 1.57m. Roundtree says 396k penalty, which adds up to 1.966m. For example, in real life, the 49ers had something like 37m in dead cap for this year in part because they were still paying retired Center Alex Mack despite his retirement two years ago. The bonus matters. That is what you are on the hook for, even in trades and retirement. In my Madden 2002 franchise I was on the hook for 5 years for Dana Stubblefield's 6 or 7 year deal.
That's what I like about Maddens cap hits. They carry over. While in 2K you pay off the cap hit the same year. Which is easier for future seasons, but terrible for the current year.
