DROGBAJR REACTS TO BEE GEES HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE REACTION

- Today's reaction video, Drogbajr reacts to first time hearing Bee Gees How Deep Is Your Love. Bee Gees The Bee Gees were a music group formed in 1958, featuring brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb. The trio were especially successful as a popular music act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and later as prominent performers of the disco music era in the mid- to late 1970s. The group sang recognisable three-part tight harmonies; Robin's clear vibrato lead vocals were a hallmark of their earlier hits, while Barry's R&B falsetto became their signature sound during the mid- to late 1970s and 1980s. Let me know any other Bee Gees songs I should check out. The best one I will do a Bee Gees reaction video to it.

react to magic flicks - Zábava
The Bee Gees can't be boxed into one genre, as their vast library of music spans across the board. They started as sort of a folk-country act, then moved onto pop music of the 60's. They are such prolific composers & have written songs for many other recording artists such as Barbra Streisand (Woman in Love), Samantha Sang (Emotion), Yvonne Elliman (If I can't have you), Frankie Valli (Grease), Diana Ross (Chain Reaction), Dionne Warwick (Heartbreaker), Tavares (More than a Woman), Celine Dion (Immortality), Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton (Islands in the stream), just to name a few....
They have been performing since their childhood/teens. In their early years, they sang with a much lower tone & were sometimes thought of as being just another British group who were trying to sound like the Beatles of that time period. They hit it HUGE in the 70's, and not just from their disco songs. They continued to create music long after the end of the disco era. Very few people can lay down such a heavy funk beat on a bass guitar like Maurice could do back in the day (especially on Jive Talkin' & Night Fever).
Please check out the following songs from the Bee Gees (as well as the ones done by other singers that I've listed): Jive Talkin' (my 3rd favorite), Nights on Broadway, Stayin' Alive, Night Fever, You should be dancing, Tragedy, Alone (my 2nd favorite), Too much Heaven (another beautiful love ballad with crazy vocal talent!). This song is my top #1 favorite...44 years now and still counting...
Their younger brother, Andy was a successful solo artist in his own right. Even though Andy was 12 years younger than Barry, they could have been twins. They share very similar facial features & vocal sound. Barry & Andy look more like twins than the actual fraternal twins, Robin & Maurice.
Tragically Andy died just a few days after his 30th birthday from a heart condition, made worse by years of using alcohol/drugs. He was my favorite "Bee Gee" (short for Brothers Gibb) when I was a kid. Please check out some of Andy's big hits - Shadow Dancing, Don't throw it all away, Thicker than water, An everlasting love, & I just want to be your everything (my favorite song from Andy).
you're right they are a unique group
The Brothers are UNTOUCHABLE!
Your favorite picks of their songs are all commercially played, their library is vast, I recommend "Reaching Out"
@@ImFrancis325I have never heard a BeeGees song I didn't like but I have narrowed my favorites list to 149. I couldn't choose one over the others they are that amazing. Five decades. Andy was amazing too. He was 12 years younger than Barry but they had identical birthmarks. Something I think is mind blowing is non of them ever learned to read music.
Barry and Andy had identical birthmarks in the same place.
“What is this sound?” Love it!
It’s the Bee Gees, and they’re freaking awesome!
They are incredible!
bee gees too much heaven
I heard about that one too
Next Too much Heaven. Fanny be tender with my love, More than a woman, Jive Talking, Staying Alive, so many hits! You'll love the rabbit hole. Great reaction.
Everyone says too much heaven should be the next reaction
@@ImFrancis325 - They are RIGHT! I'm 64 and a Bee Gee's fan for over 50 years. Any questions? I'm GLAD to help! These three brothers are my FAVORITES and I listen to them EVERYDAY. 😊 They started singing on street corners when Barry (the tallest) was 8 and the twins were 5, and they could harmonize even then! They went on to write over 1000 songs! ❤
yo that's crazy from that young and was always together
70's was the best time for music. I grew up with this group
Good time for music indeed
They don’t make music like this no more. Beautiful song with a beautiful message
It is a very beautiful song
The Bee Gees are from another universe.
BeeGees' music simply envelops the listener like a warm, comforting hug. Their music helps navigate whatever life events are happening, whether they be adversities or celebrations.
This was the time when talent was a requirement for stardom.
Check out ‘stayin alive ‘ next.
Yeah that makes sense
Too much heaven by the BeeGees
I just did a reaction to too much heaven
To me two groups defined the 70s. The Bee Gees and The Commadores. The club's wore their music out and it was fun to dance to...
That how clubs are but if it gets people dancing why not
bee gees stayin alive
That's actually the song I am interested on
Imagine slow dancing to this with your arms around the one you love the most. There's nothing like it, it's the best feeling ever. Thank you Bee Gees.♥
Keep going with the Bee Gee's, amazing artists!!!!
I will thank you
Check out "Too much heaven" "More than a woman" "Night fever" "You should be dancing" "Stayin alive" "Love you inside out" "A love so right" "Fanny be tender" "Nights on broadway"
I just did a reaction to too much heaven
This is The Bee Gees!! The Bee Gees were the greatest ever! Their music touches your heart and soul!!! Watch Too much Heaven!! You will be amazed but watch out your going to go down the rabbit hole!!
I just did a reaction to too much heaven
You'll love "Staying alive " by the bee gees
I will have to check it out
Stayin Alive and Too Much Heaven by the Bee Gees!
I just did a reaction to too much heaven
They were and still are, magical, brilliant, and need to be resurrected! You should be speechless. They are flawless!
I grew up with them and they still leave me speechless 🙏❤️
Beautiful music like this is TIMELESS. It belongs to the Heavens eternally, and therefore never dies on earth.
None are better!! They are great always will, love the music. So many great songs. More than a woman...Night Fever...Fanny be tender... You should be dancing.... How to mend a broken heart...Nights on Broadway...merely a drop in the bucket of the wonderful songs. I enjoyed your reaction, I could see it moved you!!
that is a lot of list!
You should listen to Too much Heaven. To me that's the most beautiful song they ever recorded and Barry's voice is amazing. 💖💖💖
I just did a reaction to too much heaven
Great reaction. Bee Gees were my growing up music. The rabbit hole is deep & a fantastic dive. Hope you enjoy many more of theirs.
Thank you! Will do!
Hi! Welcome to the world of Bee Gees ... best harmony's of all time ... you literally have decades to choose from. I think "Too Much Heaven " should be next. Have fun with them, they don't disappoint. Thanks
Thanks for the tips!
How Deep is Your Love was the beginning of a unique No. 1 run in music history for the Gibb Brothers and ended two years later with eight more No. 1 US Billboard Chart Bangers, with Love You Inside Out. Welcome to this first song on the most successful soundtrack of all time and second best selling album in music history with 63 million copies since 1977 after Michael Jackson's thriller. Check Stayin Alive, Night feer, More Than A Woman and indeed You Should Be Dancing from the same Longplayer 🍾
For you will finest Music - totally different after that 😉- great reaction 🍾❤️
I will have to check out your list, thank you very much!
@@ImFrancis325 welcome in the biggest rabbit hole of the music industry of the Brothers Gibb 😉
Thank you!
@@ImFrancis325 If you love harmonies back in the day check out the Carpenters, start We've only just begun.
Karen (Carpenter) was one of the best female vocalists of all time IMO
I will have to check her out
Well, they had hits from 1966 until 2001. Lot's of work to do, so be careful. Great ones are: 'To Love Somebody', 'Words', 'I've gotta get a message to you', 'Massachusetts', only a few out of the sixties.
That's a lot of years!
We have to show love, light, and lovingness....or get out the way...all day. Doc loves life. Thank you and God bless.
The Bee Gees are amazing. "Nights on Broadway", "Tragedy" are really good. Any of their songs, really. "More Than a Woman".
They were amazing song writers as well as beautiful vocals and their harmony was the best ever! I have loved them since the 70’s. This is a song from my high school years. We were blessed to have their music. They wrote and recorded for decades. ❤️
If you haven’t already checked it out, you must hear “Too Much Heaven”. It’s the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard.
I think you have a beautiful soul! ❤️😊 I’m a 67 years old, am white (nope, not ashamed!) and grew up with the BeeGees. Wonderful music and love their harmony and lyrics. You are a good looking young man (love your white teeth ☺️) and you rock! Do people still say that?
Thank you so much!! yes I still say "you rock" 😄
This was the amazing 70's. You should take a Bee Gees deep dive. You will not be disappointed. Probably shocked at how much amazing music they have. Over 40 years.
I’m glad I was a teenager in the 70’s when all this came out. 70’s really did have the best music
They are being reinvented with the young people...they have been writing for 5 decades. thousands of songs n songwriters..n hundreds for other artists
I grew up with the Bee Gees they (and the Commadores) were the 70s. They crossed generations, my mother listened every day she went to sleep with them. I watched them in late 70s and bought Barry and Streisand when I was 10ish (and I was stingy about who I bought) beautiful. Some jerk declared disco was dead and start breaking their records on air and ranting and disco died. Officially declared over.
The look on your face when Barry started to sing was priceless. Lol. Nice. I approve. So much great music from decades past. The 70's was the best. Check out the Eagles. Any live performance for more great harmonies.
Glad you enjoyed it
The BeeGees are amazing, not only song lyrics, but they're voices of these brothers are untouchable! Barry Gibb had such an Amazing voice for holding high, long notes! Just Beautiful! Please do a reaction to Staying Alive...
YESSS! Love your genuine reaction to this song, and so glad to see you're about to head down the Bee Gees rabbit hole. They are truly one of the greatest bands that have ever existed :) I really hope you'll enjoy experiencing more of their music in future reactions too - they have so many amazing hits! One of the ones you may already know, and should definitely check out soon is 'Stayin Alive' - it's the most famous of all their hits.
Also, Barry Gibb - the main guy you see singing in both the clips you've seen of the BeeGees so far (the three guys are brothers), is one of the top songwriters of all time, with more then 100 number 1 hits to his name.
I really will have to do more because I just love their music
STRAIGHT from the HEART!
I'm 54 yrs old & this has been my top favorite Bee Gees song since I was 10 years old. My older cousin (by 3 years) had just bought the soundtrack album to Saturday Night Fever. Neither of us had seen the movie yet; as we were too young for the R rating, but I clearly remember the double album had still shots of movie scenes. She played that record over & over & over again for hours. The next day, I went to the store & bought my own copy. Awhile later, my elementary school held a dance in the cafeteria right after school was let out. I was in the 5th grade & a boy I knew (6th grader) asked me to 'slow dance" to this song. I was my first time ever dancing with a boy! He didn't ask me to dance because he liked me (in that way). Rather his mom was friends with mine & also cousin's mom (my auntie), so we all hung out together. He knew I had that album & that this was my favorite song so he asked me to dance. I can still picture it in my head; the two of us facing each other, my arms extended out with hands on his shoulders while his arms were out & hands on my hips as we swayed side to side while turning in slow circles on the dance floor...so awkward - LOL! :-D
The Bee Gees have been around a long time and their older and newer music is all excellent
Real music touches your soul on a cellular level.
Thank you for keeping our music alive
Kia Ora - it’s pretty nice hearing a fresh (young) perspective on the era I grew up in. I’ve always thought I was lucky to have the 50s/60s perspective from my parents and added it to great music through the 70s//80s/90s and now the music of my own kids. Where I’m from, this stuff is standard learning material that all my kids are not only familiar with but have in their playlists. What a great way to connect all the generations / gotta give it up fir the musical talent 💚 Cheers from NZ
I am glad that many generation got to enjoy them
It was released in 1977, the year I was married! At first hearing the song, most people thought they were black. Another singer, that people thought was black is Bobby Caldwell 'What You Won't Do For Love.' You have to find the video where he is hiding in a shadow, then slowing walks out from the shadow. Bobby and another person wrote that song. He is 5 years younger than Barry Gibb. I've seen other videos of black guys saying 'Too Much Heaven' will be one of the songs in their wedding.
I have heard about bobby caldwell but it's crazy how much impact they have
From experience, TO LOVE SOMEBODY is good medicine!
will do!
Fantastic song from my generation love it
amazing song!
Love you inside and out, one of my favs…but all of their songs are ahmazzzzzing!
You my friend have just entered the Bee Gees zone!
the best zone ever
Amo, amo, amo demais! Nunca mais ouviremos vozes tão perfeitas assim! Divinos e maravilhosos, Bee Gees! From Ilha de Paquetá - Rio de Janeiro - RJ - Brasil com S ! ✨✨✨💖💖💖🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I love this song💗💗💗💗💗💗💗👏👏👏🙏
Keep that fire burning with '' TOO MUCH HEAVEN '' another 1# smooth classic by these icons . great reaction

@@ImFrancis325 Isn't it a jam ? react to '' Fanny be tender '' Quincy Jones once described it as one of the best RnB songs he had ever heard - Get onto it Drog.
I will have to check it out then
Thank you for saying these guys are insane; because that says how much you appreciate there vocals. thank you.
Great reaction! Bee Gees is such a talented group. Barry Gibb (The tallest) has acutally written 16 US Billboard no. #1 hits and very few people in history can compete with that. I think you should react to Bee Gees-Tragedy (1979) next.
that's insane! it's hard for anyone to compete with that
The original recording or the Spirit Having Flown concert of Tragedy - please.
okay, I will try my best
Too much heaven....gotta hear it
you have to hear Too much heaven and Staying Alive next.. then check out Phil Collins live In the air tonight..a must..

This is the Bee Gee's first #1 of 6 #1's in a row starting in mid 1977 till 1979 making them the Kings of Disco.
well they start out with a bang!
Your fabulous smile said everything you needed to say really! I'm sure everyone watching was smiling right along with you! Thank you for letting me sit in with you again! Great reaction!
I was in my teens when this came out...listening on a transistor radio or am radio...FM radio...glad you are hearing the masterpiece on hi-fi headphones...(high fidelity )...
This song plays with you emotion's
"How Deep Is Your Love" is a pop ballad written and recorded by the Bee Gees in 1977 and released as a single in September of that year.
This song came out in 1977. Obviously... you were not even born yet. No need to feel "guilty" for not hearing them sing. Back in 1977 I had just graduated college and I was busy getting my life organized. I did not appreciate how talented they were. I am just beginning to get to know their music better through CZcams. Thanks for reacting to them....... Take care.
You're not corny. We said 'hibby gibbies' in my day.
The Brothers Gibb ...... Professionally known as 'The Bee Gees.' They wrote ALL of their songs! Born on the Isle of Man to English parents, the Gibb brothers lived in England, then moved to Australia.
(1) Maurice - pronounced Morris (short hair ) While on his way to surgery for his intestines, he had a heart attack, yet the doctors operated anyway. (I heard Barry say this on a video.) He was in the hospital for a few days! Maurice passed in 2003, at the age of 53.
(2) Robin (long hair) passed in 2012 from cancer, at the age of 62. He and Barry complimented each other with their voices. Maurice added the harmony. Robin and Maurice were fraternal twins, and the comedians in the group.
(3) Andy, (not pictured) the youngest brother, had his own successful career. He passed in 1988, at the age of 30, from inflammation of the muscles around his heart. He and Barry could had passed as twins, even though he was 12 yrs younger than Barry. The 3 brothers were also married and had children. (4) (4) Barry (lead singer) said, "I am the last man standing." Barry is the eldest of the brothers. On September 1, 2021, he and his wife, Linda will celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary, which is also Barry's 75th birthday. They have 5 adult children, and 7 grandchildren (some reports say 8.)
The Bee Gees have sold over 220 million records worldwide (probably more by now.) They were also writers for other musical artists. On several videos, Barry and Maurice said they liked R & B music. He liked the sounds of the lead singers of the Stylistics and the Delfonics. Also Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons, and the Beach Boys. Their father, also a musician, liked the music of the Mills Brothers.
Their sister, Lesley is the first born. She was 76, January, 2021. She lives a quiet life with her family. She is the 'Queen Bee.' 😁
Listen to: Staying Alive (you'll like the beginning strut) ---- You Win Again (the main video, which is in black and white) is back and forth with scenes, at a fast rate. You may want to find a video with a stage performance.
Emotion (a song written for Samantha Sang) (NOT the version by Destiny's Child, which has too much drama.) You Should Be Dancing: (make sure you get the video of them wearing silver outfits, and Barry has a lot of hair! Very awesome video!!!!)
Closer Than Close (sang by Maurice: very smooth and mellow. My absolute favorite!)
Jive Talking --- Guilty (duet with Barbara Streisand) -- One -- Our Love (Don't Throw It All Away) A song dedicated to their brother Andy. The have a HUGE catalogue of songs.

The Bee Gees is a very good rabbit hole to go down...You will have a greater respect for music and the art of song writing at the end of it
I love this one and I can't wait for the rest!
Barry (the tall lead singer) is the oldest of the 4 Gibb brothers (Andy died in 1988). Lesley, their only sister, is the eldest sibling in the family. How sad that the two oldest are the ones still alive. Lesley is now 76 yrs old I believe & Barry is just a year or so behind her. In the early days, she was known as the 4th Bee Gee, as she did sing on occasion with them. But she turned away from the fame for a quiet "normal life" raising a family. She didn't want the lifestyle that came with the stardom that her brothers experienced. Andy was my favorite of them all. I often wonder what great music he still had to give us, if only he hadn't passed away so young. :-(
awe that's sad!
Beautiful reaction bro. Cheers from Sydney, Australia. P.S. I first saw & really got hooked by the Bee Gees on Sunday evening Australian TV in the mid 1960s... yep, the good old days, being loved by new generations. Big thank you, respect Drogbajr. You said "I was a kid when this was realeased". Nup bro, maybe a squirt, from your Grandpa. I'm so happy to have been a teen in Australia in the 1960's.... Heaven on earth music bro.!.
For Whom the Bell Tolls….great song.
Beegees are honestly one of the best groups. Check out the documentary about them on HBO, it's great. Definitely worth checking out more of their songs.
Three brothers from Australia who started singing at about ten.
that's so early
So wrong. They are/were Brits. Only lived in Australia for nine years. Left England in 1958 as £10 poms and returned to their homeland in 1967. Read their biographies.
I watched as you melted - that is some magic there
haha you just can't help it
the lead singer Barry is the only bee gee left and he is in his 70s still making music and loving life
Too Much Heaven is the best song ever made.
This was released I believe 1976 you were not born yet. Give yourself some grace for not knowing it. But you know it now. They wrote all their own music and for other artists. You would enjoy Fanny be tender with my love and Kiss of life. Great reaction ❤
I found your channel looking for Bee Gees reactions!
Same here! For me it’s kinda like hearing their music for the first time again through the reaction.
I am glad their music brought you to me!
Too Much Heaven
I am glad you enjoyed the Bee Gees music and I was lucky enough to be born during this era and enjoyed their music for those years and the rest of my life. Try to watch the biography of the Bee Gees here on You tube so you will understand where they came from and also watch how "Saturday Night Fever" was made as they wrote the sound track for this movie in like less than a week.....:))) You should listen to "Spirits having flown", "MOre than a woman" Emotions, Fanny be tender, and many many more!!!
I will try to check out more of their music
You've heard The Bee Gees before, you just didn't realize it at the time - in movies, randomly on the radio, at the grocery store, etc. And yeah, you've probably heard the muzak versions played in elevators too - HAHA! The Bee Gees are everywhere, my friend. One of my favorite hobbies lately is watching young(er) people discover The Bee Gees & coming to the realization of 'Wait a minute...brief pause of mild confusion...These guys sing this song?!?! What in the hell..." It happens in every reaction video I've watched so far, especially with "Stayin' Alive". That one always gets them freaking out & fallin' out of their chairs - LOL!
I was right about that then haha
Brothers songwriters musicians singers love your raw reaction
Thank you very much!
Your welcome
They started performing when they were 9 and 6.
GOAT!
Love your reaction to my favorite group of all time! You are going to have so much fun with their music! I would recommend Too Much Heaven, Fanny Be Tender, Stayin Alive, You Should Be Dancing, Angela, Alone, Bodyguard, You Win Again, Closer Than Close, Baby When You Turn Away, Love So Right and For Whom the Bell Tolls, then everything else! They do not disappoint!

Oh and you haven’t even got to their falsetto yet I highly recommend staying alive which you’ve probably heard and had absolutely no idea that it was them
We'll have to see if I would recognize them
They were singing long before you were born. They started in 1958. They had hits from then through to the 2000's. Barry is still around and has recently put out a new album.
I know haha but it's awesome for me to discover them now
If you think this is insane you are really in for a treat.
I can't wait for more

now try Too Much Heaven , that will blow you away

They started in the 60’s, and continued on through 2000’s! You really missed out! The Gibbs Brothers are the gift that keeps on giving! They wrote over a 1000 songs, some for themselves and some for others like Dianna Ross, Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Dionne Warwick, Kenny Rogers, and on and on! Barry ( the tall one) is the only one still alive he will be 77 in September 2023! He still sings on his own and with his kids and his nieces and nephews! And of course he is still writing songs! The other two brothers were twins Maurice (pronounced Morris) died in 2003 and his
Other brother Robin died in 2012! They also had a much younger brother Andy who started his own musical career, but he died at age 30 in 1988!
Great reaction!!!
Thank you!! 😁
Too much heaven should be next
Yes! Absolutely!!!
seems like everyone is saying that
@@ImFrancis325 Yes, but MAKE SURE you get the video of them in silver outfits!!

Barry the oldest is the only one still living.
Unfortunately the twin brothers died of separate illness and Andy the youngest who wasn't part of the main act frequently joined them had hits of his own but due to addictions and illness also passed away.
ON a lighter note they wrote most of the music to the Film Saturday Night Fever there you will see a young John Travolta starring in the movie then a year later starring in Grease, check out his moves on the film strutting his stuff to mostly hits from the Bee Gees including Staying Alive and Night Fever
The film was Travolta first major role before Grease
Check out The Trammps song Disco Inferno during Saturday Night Fever see Travolta dancing

I'll have to see
Their younger brother Andy Gibb had some great songs too.
you were born in the wrong time. If you were born in my decade then you would definitely still be a BeeGees fan today. Once a fan, always a fan no matter how old you are or become 🤗🤗🤗
You have to listen to songs that were written for other artists by the BeeGees. Babara Streisand, Diana Ross, Celine Dion or Kenny Rogers 👍
I am a fan now!
There music is timeless. Check out another great Australian artist named John Farnham we call him the Voice down under. Check out “your the voice”
