The UNBELIEVABLE wilds of TASMANIA

- Hey friends, the Tasmanian Wilderness is so amazing! We've left the north coast and we're heading down the West Coast with a detour around the Tarkine Drive.
We visit the Edge of the World near Arthur River, wander through cool, temperate rainforests marvelling at huge trees and ferns. Then we find this beautiful cave.
We drive along the Western Explorer Highway - which is not really a "highway" that you might be used to - its a 75km unsealed road through the mountains. We end up at an epic free camp for the night.
We hope you're enjoying this glimpse of Tassie as much as we are enjoying exploring here!

Just as beautiful as I remember from 5 years ago, we have been twice and will go again 🌿 thanks for sharing
You’re very welcome! We are absolutely loving Tasmania and hope you enjoy all the videos we have coming up.
We are 2 weeks ahead of you.
Just beautiful country.
We are probably in the same area then, our videos are always a couple of weeks behind. We’re leaving the Tasman Peninsula today.
Some great experiences and footage. Loved the beautiful creek and rain forest. I hope Nigel is feeling much better. Tassie is such a beautiful place. 🤗❤🩹
It really is! Look forward to showing you more.
Beaut video! A heads up for Maria Island if you return for longer than a day. Our group just left our hire cars at the ferry terminal in Triabunna - safe as. It's worth spending 2 nights in the Penitentiary accomodation - comfy bunks - you have the room to yourselves. You can hire bikes on the island. Plenty of short and longer walks.
Hot lemon water with teaspoon of honey does wonders just before bed.
Hope Nigel is better soon ❤😊
Thanks Gayle! He’s much better now.
Thanks for the tour around Taz 🇬🇧
Plenty more to come! We are having a blast over here. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful thank you.
Thank you for watching Glenda 🧡
Loving those trees - definitely need a hug! Thank you for sharing…need to add Tasmania to our list for sure
Oh absolutely! It’s incredible here
Park the van up for a day and take the ferry to Maria Island if you get a chance.
Ugh I wish we could have overnighted there, but alas, we don’t have camping gear!
That brought back lovely memories. We might be there ourselves in about a month. Currently exploring Hobart and then going to Bruny Island. Has Nigel recovered from his walking pneumonia?
Yes he’s much better now. You must be just behind us Michael, we left Bruny a couple of days ago and we’re on the Tasman peninsula now
Majestical
Ha!! We love that word.
So do the wilderpeople 🙂
@@markmangion454that was my sons favourite movie (still is) I reckon with ve watched it 50 times with him.
Lost count watching it with my daughter, 🙂
Absolutely stunning video guy's, we can't wait to explore it ourselves next year 😊😊We hope Nigel is on the mend soon, then maybe Sue you can join in with him & his infamous "Nigel dives" & be synchronised divers together 😅😅 Have a great week & especially safe travels ❤❤
Haha, I have done a couple lately, but I’ll leave it to the master!
Love the video , reminded me so much of NZ , cheers Pete
We say exactly that in the next video! More like NZ than mainland Australia
Cool video guys ❤
Thanks Amanda! Can’t wait to catch up!
15:30. That wild flower is actually a foxglove. An introduced pest.
Oh that’s annoying! So many destructive things were introduced!
@@nigelandsueadventures loving your journeys. We were in the Pilbara for 35 yrs. Now Tassie for 3 years.
Watched all your Tassie stuff. Now working through your W.A collection.
That first beach scene with all the driftwood.
Look west, there is nothing until you hit Sth America roughly 1/2 way around the world.. Nothing!
Its crazy isn’t it?
hi all i from SMITHTON TAS
Hi!! What a beautiful area you live in!! We loved Tassie’s north west.
wonderful part of Tassie! great video guys
Cheers friends! Tassie is so awesome!
Great footage guys. Thanks. Wonder the significance of Tarkine to the indigenous peoples
Good question. We did see the petroglyphs at Sundown Creek, and what we suspected were middens (shells up on a hillock), but there’s not a lot of signboard information.
Hi
Your a real trouper Nigel if I was feeling unwell I’d bunker down in a nice motel for a week.
Beautiful place I really want to go to Tasmania.
It’s so good here Neil, perfect place for a road trip.
