  • Check out the Electron Shepherd store at electron-sheph... to purchase these today!
    The Wii2HDMI modules are available all over the web for a few dollars and are used by most Wii enthusiasts to achieve HDMI output from their Wii's. Unfortunately, these are known to produce poor video quality that has a lot of interference and discoloration due to their cheap construction and poor design. Luckily, the Electron Shepherd team has developed a custom, smaller, and higher-quality module that utilizes the latest high quality conversion techniques available to clean, crisp HDMI from your Wii unlikely anything that has been seen before.
    These Wii2HDMI modules produce an HDMI video that is beat only by one of the internal HDMI mods that are available like the AVE-HDMI.

      Considering it’s not upscaling i’m going to say the lag is probably pretty good. Most of the time running something through hdmi on modern tvs is going to reduce lag then trying to run it through the internal dac anyways.

      @adc_ax Před 2 lety

      FWIW didn't notice any, but I've never noticed any latency with such converters (a cheap HDMI-to-HDMI upscaler I had for a day, however, was horrible in this regard).

    I optimistically bought this expecting it to be better than the ones on Amazon, and somehow it's worse. The image is grainy and filled with artifacts. I feel like I got burned.
    To quote the guy in the video. "I just bought a piece of s#!?... might as well take the thing and throw it in the trash."

      Look in your tv settings for an option called Overscan or Justscan. That should automatically crop those out
