What about 'murder by degrees'? The slow and gradual disintegration of a person as they fracture as a result of a loved ones callousness? Ignorance is no excuse. The thing they don't tell you about love in the stories is that it can destroy you. Forever. Usually one partner has to shoulder that. It can be hard carrying on afterwards. Also how responsible for Ortons work was Halliwell? It could be argued he played a great part in it. Without Halliwell you may not even know who Joe Orton was.
