Getting sick while traveling is the worst!
I ran over a snapping turtle the other day.....right between the wheels as did the truck in front of me.
I could see him still crawling in the rear view mirror.
I was high enough over him that I didn't hit his shell.
I think he made it across the road as when I went home...I didn't see a squashed turtle.

I love my Big Apple tires! I've got to knock on wood when I say this, but I live in a region where there are lots of thorns and so far, not had a flat on them. Sorry you were feeling poorly, but thanks again for sharing your ride!
I have big apples on it now. As soon as I finished the trip I got them
@@JaYoeNationI would think your right tire would be most vulnerable to puncture.
That's the tire that rides more on the shoulder of the road.
The shoulder is where the crap like thorns and screws accumulate.
My Magnum big wheel came standard with Big Apples, so far done 3000km in 2 years- centres of front tyres are not quite completely smooth bald after having already reversed them to get extra wear allowing for their camber. Had 1 slow leak near new and replaced the tissue thin tubes with thorn resistant. Back tyre still looks new. Next might try marathon pluses on the front for longer life.
The ferry port surroundings was beautiful. I enjoyed the drone footage.
I hope your stomach bug didn't last too long.

Schwalbe BigApple PLUS are extremely long wearing, durable and almost puncture proof. Go for the PLUS, you won't be sorry. I had the regular BigApples and got flats all the time in Portland.

I know you show your ride route at the end of your video but it doesn’t show the context or where in Italy (or whatever country) you’re at.
