      @etos butch thanks I believe that instead of so many young African men risking their live to end Refugees/asylum homes or even worst sleeping in the streets maybe a selected group of Europeans or north Americans or maybe (maybe even decendant of African Migrants in West) with Usefull technical and entrepreneurial skills should go to Africa and spread that knowledge some villages just need a water filtration system and a solar panel to increase their living standards

      I agree similar to whats going on in central america or any place in the world where the government has failed its people or only care about the elites... a majority of these countries have two issues in common corruption or failed economic practices where the youth flee to another country, because there is no job opportunities

      Agreed. At the very least when it signs an agreement with China for them to build billions of dollars worth of infrastructure projects they should be insisting that the Chinese run projects train and employ Nigerians in skilled trades. As it is, the Chinese projects import their workers from China, and not just any workers, their workers are serving sentences handed down by the Chinese criminal justice courts. When the project is completed the Chinese workers go home, the Nigerians have their new piece of infrastructure, huge debts, no skilled workforce, and when they default on the debt the Chinese return to seize the collateral (mineral resources and land) offered when the deals were first made.

    They are dropping as a result of 2 things. Matteo Salvini who many in all Mediterranean countries are very grateful for is turning down these economic migrants and the NGOs thereby leading to a large fall which I and many in Europe are grateful for. Then there is Libya, in which in spite of the evil that is slavery, it is scaring the life out of these economic migrants who are so scared of being captive that they rather stay home in Nigeria.

    The real reason less migrants cross the Mediterranean sea to Italy is because, since 2018 italian interior minister Salvine closed italian ports to ilegal migrants, As a result, also migrants' deaths in the sea decreased. Since august 2019 Salvini and his party are in the italian government no more and ports have been opened again, and as a result, the number of illegal migrants landing in Italy is skyrocketing again.
    Immigrant landings in Italy from january 1st to august 23rd:
    2017: 98076
    2018: 19526
    2019: 4722

    • @Nickle314
      @Nickle314 Před 5 lety +7

      Well, poor is the appropriate word. People are more than frustrated, they are pissed off. A min wage earner in the UK pays £13.11 a week in tax. They cost the UK tax payers £14,500 on average a year, and that excludes big costs like pensions.
      People are pissed off because they have no right of consent. If they don't fund the migrants the state will ultimately use violence to take their money to give to the migrant.
      So why shouldn't people have a right of consent? They can say no, you can say yes, but you have to hand over your cash.

    • @Nickle314
      @Nickle314 Před 5 lety +2

      @Chief Sunnah I want more migrants. There are however 3 conditions. Very simple ones.
      1. No criminals.
      If you have a criminal record you can't come, if you commit a crime here you are deported. Very simple.
      2. No discrimination
      Doesn't matter if you are Nigerian, EU, black white, yellow brown, ... gay straight, religious or not, .... All irrelevant
      3. Net contributors only
      You have to pay more tax than you cost in state services to get your annual residency permit.
      Those mean you have to speak English, you have to integrate, others know you are a benefit.
      That's a proper migration system.

    • @Nickle314
      @Nickle314 Před 5 lety

      @Chief Sunnah If they pay more tax than they cost, they are a benefit. They get a residency permit, so long as that is met.
      Where it goes wrong is when they cost others.

    • @Nickle314
      @Nickle314 Před 5 lety +1

      @Chief Sunnah Then you are stupid. That net contributor means that they have to integrate, they have to bring a lot to the table. You will get migrants who come here for the culture, the heritage.
      You won't get those who come, refuse or can't integrate and demand vast amounts from others.
      But in general, I see a compromise. You don't give you consent, so you have to pay extra taxes to cover your services. After all you don't want free money from 'foreigners'.

    • @Nickle314
      @Nickle314 Před 5 lety +1

      @Chief Sunnah They can't come here for state benefits if they have to pay 12K [each] in tax every year. That's one of the conditions for coming. Paid a year in advance. That's a minimum tax. If they earn more they pay more tax.
      So why would they pay more tax? Very simple they can't come, they are kicked out for tax evasion if they don't.
      Do read what I wrote, not project your views onto others.
